Newly opened Mamou at the Podium is still by far! in my opinion the best steak place in the metro. We had the 1000kg Dry Aged Porterhouse which was grilled perfectly to my liking (as always) along with the steak rice. No matter which branch we dine at we always leave happy and content with our meals.

Excerpt: We decided on having take out food for our anniversary and we chose to get it from one of our preferred restaurants – Mamou.

The staff recommended that we have steamed live Maine lobsters for take out. Good thing we believed them. It was delicious. The meat was firm and not rubbery and it tasted really well with the malt vinaigrette and lemon butter sauce. It came with aligue (crab fat) rice. Lobsters + crab fat rice = happiness, definitely.

We also ordered steak: 28 day dry aged USDA Prime Grade T-bone steak. We ordered it to be cooked medium. The meat was cooked correctly to medium and the texture was almost marshmallow-like in sponginess when bitten. The beefy taste was as clean as it can get. We had Himalayan pink salt at home and it provided a real upgrade in the flavor.

The angus and wawa ribs were cooked to our liking. The truffle pasta was super delicious and heavy to the tummy! The fish fingers are good appetizers as well. Will try the maine lobsters next time. Shout out to Rome, super accomodating!

It was my first visit in this branch and we did order our usual - twin angus ribeye and truffle pasta. I was a bit disappointed with the appearance of the steak (mostly the side part) as it's not as charred as compared to what is usually served from other branches. I believe this also does affect the taste of it. As for the truffle pasta, it was very enjoyable.

Had Mother's day lunch here last Sunday. Service was excellent. Food was superb. Steak was well seasoned and cooked according to our preference. I must say Mamou has one of the best steaks in the metro. For pasta, we ordered Lorenzo's truffle cream pasta and Mario Bottarga's Spaghetti aglio olio. Pastas were cooked al dente. The truffle cream pasta was not "nakakaumay", it had the right amount of cream, cheese and hint of truffle. Flavor was balance. Mario Bottarga's pasta was my favorite. The fish roe added uniqueness to the usual aglio olio. Roast pork was the best. It was tender, juicy and had citrusy flavor with hint of cumin. I'm not fan of roast pork but this definitely changed my mind. Overall our dining experience was truly remarkable and highly recommended.

Spent our Heart’s day 2019 here in Mamou, Ayala Malls the 30th. I love their steak. ❤️ and their pasta. A bit pricey buy it’s worth it. The ambiance of the place is relaxing with friendly staff.

Very lucky that "Mamou" was present when we ate here. Was not able to take pics of the food because IT WAS THAT GOOD. The steak was good, the carbonara was good I think it was called Lorenzo's....? VERY IMPRESSED ABOUT IT MUST TRY. The fried chicken was also good, the salad I forgot which salad but it was recommended, and THE MUFFIN FOR STARTERS. The service in Ayala malls the 30th branch is EXCELLENT. Really happy to eat here. RECOMMENDED.

We enjoy our meals here every time. It is a go-to place where everyone knows your name. We love their Aged Porterhouse, lobsters, pasta and Tuyo with egg and garlic red rice. Their cinnamon saba or plantain is our favorite side dish. When something is not as expected, they are quick to correct. Manager Annie is so hands on. Their pecan pie and lemon tart are not to be missed, too!

🍝Lorenzo's Truffle Cream Pasta (P395): simple, no frills truffle cream pasta. One serving is good for two persons.

🥩Angus Ribeye Steak (P1,990): really good! The single size is enough for two persons. Cooked perfectly according to specified doneness. The steak is very juicy and well seasoned, no need for additional salt or sauces. The dish also comes with two side dishes. Got the creamed spinach and corn pudding. Didn't like the creamed spinach but the corn pudding was perfect with the steak.

The service in this branch is excellent. Arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes before the closing time and the staff were still very accomodating. Our server did not rush us while ordering and answered our questions politely. Did not have to wait long for our orders to arrive too.

Truffle pasta was divine.

Lamb chops was spectacular.

Service was excellent. We had an issue with the salmon steak, it was handled perfectly.

Yummy steak! Cooked perfectly the way we like it. Food may be a bit pricey but certainly worth every peso. Nice and warm staff as well. Kevin is so accommodating to our requests and entertained all our questions regarding food. We will definitely come back here.

My favorite restaurant by a large margin. The Dry aged T-Bone was the bomb combined with Mash potatoes and creamed spinach. Dessert was nice too; Key lime pie with whipped cream.
Factor in the price, this is better than Wolfgang Zweiner. I'm going for the Maine Lobster next.

It was a special day so we decided to go all out. You've seen the menu so you know what I mean. 😉 The wait staff are very friendly and very attentive. All your orders are customizable. When they ask you the doneness of your steak, they will show you your steak once it comes out of the kitchen. If you want it further cooked, you can send the whole steak back or the particular piece that you want cooked more. We also got to choose our live lobster, subject to availability of course. We skipped the king crab 🤑 because we didn't want to go over board, just all out. 😅 Maybe next time on another special occasion and if we have more people with us. 🤔 We also ordered a take out of their sinigang, and the kitchen sent a sample of the broth to our table for us to check the level of sourness before they cook the entire entree. It was perfect, the level of acidity and sourness. For my experience, I can't emphasize enough that the service was superb from start to finish. I wouldn't mind coming back for the service alone. 😁

Best steak in town!! Perfectly cooked every time. Always over order but always ends up eating every thing 😂 favorites are of course the ribeye steak, truffle pasta, and lobster. But also try their kurobata sinigang and duck adobo and they’re also good. 👍🏻

My all-time favorites are Wawa Prime Rib and Al Olio with Labuyo Flakes. As always, they were sooo fine. 👌

It was my first time to try the Crispy Pork as an appetizer and it is indeed crispy. We were offered to try their Live Lobster and we got the remaining piece. It was perfectly cooked, not rubbery at all. The meat was juicy and tastes sooo good.

This place was recommended to me and I didn't regret it. The salad was very good and also good for sharing. The truffle pasta was also very good. The beer battered fish for sharing was excellent. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender. It was a good thing the server suggested to have half of the steak be medium well for those who don't want undercooked steak, and the other half be medium rare for those who want the steak to be juicy. Definitely a good place to go to for special occasions. Will secondly come back soon.

The place is organized, clean and good ambiance. Food. Portions are quite big, too, and reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and courteous.
The only downside is their POS was down and we had to wait a while to get our bill.

Who doesn’t love Mamou!!! I know I do regardless of which branch. My 3 go-to items are:
1. Ribeye Steak (with my fave sides: corn pudding and steak rice) 🥩🌽🍚 And don’t forget to scoop up the meat drippings aka oil and also the toasted fat!
2. Lorenzo’s Truffle Cream Pasta 🍝
3. Healdsburg’a Harvest Salad 🥗

If I had the appetite and budget to add more, I’d get the Barcia strips 🐷which are like chicharon but strips for appetizer, the Lobster roll 🦞with fries as an additional main, extra bacon slabs 🥓, and more corn pudding!!! 😉

On days when steak is out of my budget, the combo platter of Roast Chicken & Pork with rice, beans and cinnamon saba is good. 🐓🐖

During our visit to this branch, we ordered the Bottarga pasta too, it was okay, but my heart (and tummy!) is loyal to the truffle pasta mentioned above!

Also the place gets packed and is small so best to make a reservation. 😉

Everything's perfect (except for the steak rice). We liked the ambiance, the steak (which is EXCELLENT! the best we've tasted so far), the wine and the truffle pasta. The price was worth it! Definitely one of the restaurants to celebrate your birthday, anniversary (like we did!), achievements, or simply to have a glorious piece of steak. Will surely go back 😊

My boyfriend surprised me for an early birthday dinner at Mamou. He knows how much I love meat. He has been wanting to bring me to their first branch in Fort but since traffic has been a huge hassle it was postponed until they finally opened one in Pasig.

He ordered for us.

Rib Eye Steak (Php 1990) it was 400g steak which was cooked to perfection and the fat toasted too. Meat was tender and juicy I just went to heaven.
Nurnberger Sausage (Php 175) additional side. Yep meat again! You can actually just have this and pasta it is still a meal on its own.
Lorenzo’s Truffle Pasta (Php 395) creamy truffle pasta with grana padano cheese. We need some carbs in our meal of course.

The serves even surprised us and sang happy birthday to me. They also gave me a red velvet cupcake that I had to bring home cause I was full from our dinner.

I love this resto for many reasons, one of which is that they don’t try to be pretentious as they keep every food preparation as simple as possible.

Everything is well seasoned and the service is great! No need to elaborate on the food items, they are good! Service is also commendable!

I legit always crave for their food! Steak is perfect as well as their pastas. For me, their bolognese is better than the other one that’s super famous. (I forgot what you call it). Also, their iced tea is refreshing to drink after a meal. Lastly, the staff are always lovely 😊

We tried a bunch of different things and I'd have to say some unexpected things stood out to me. Of course you come for Mamou for the steak, and the steak is good, but it wasn't particularly well seasoned or didn't have that great of a char for me. Much better to me was their lamb, which was flavorful and had that crisp browned meat on the bone. Their pastas are nice, while everyone goes for the truffle pasta I found their red sauce spaghetti to be better, as the truffle pasta can be a bit bland. The pasta were both nicely cooked, nice and Al dente.

Love the mini buns and anchor butter as starters and it's for free 😊 Would recommend their beer buttered chicken. Truffle pasta was fine. Found a strand of hair in my roasted chicken but they were quick enough to replace the whole plate. Service is good and my husband loves the banana with cinnamon. Definitely will go back!

Dinner was a simple affair of comfort food from Mamou in their new branch, and we made sure to order their classics— Lorenzo Truffle Cream Pasta, and Lamb Tapa with Truffle flavored Eggs and White Rice 🍚 What I love most about their pasta is the delicate balance of their fragrant truffle flavor, tangy Parmesan cheese and delicious cream sauce mixed with al dente noodles. ❤️ Their lamb tapa, on the other hand, is tender lamb slices that are salty with a hint of sweetness, mixed with fluffy warm rice. Not gonna mention much about the egg though— I gave it to my sister because sunny side up eggs aren’t my thing, sorry. 😅

I am giving a high 4 ++ rating to their new product- the wagyu rib cap! I have never even heard about that prior to this as it is not something restaurants normally serve.  Who would though that bits of beef can taste that exquisite! And the tenderness!! I initially tried the mustard flavored just because I love mustard..(No judging...) I thought the mustard would over power because I usually just have it on chicken- but no!! I am not ashamed to say that I sent my driver there after a few more minutes to get the garlic flavored one !  I am going to pencil the other flavors into my calendar for sure!  I don't see it in the printed menu, but I hope they do not- rather- NEVER NEVER remove it from their line up!!

Brought my wife here to celebrate after she recieved an Outstanding Physician Leadership Award. Reserved via phone. staff recieveing the call was corteous and even reminded me via sms regarding my reservation. they accept reservations and walk in diners per batch 6-8pm and 8-10pm so better reserve early. when we arrived we were ushered to our table and served freshly cooked bread and olive oil. our usual orders were the truffle pasta and dry aged rib eye. the truffle pasta looks so unassuming but once you taste it you cant get enough of it (this is a must order). i ordered the steak medium rare. it was ok but i prefer how they cook it in their main branch at Rockwell. we ordered the single and almost couldnt finish it. dont order the double unless you have 3 o more in your table. if you do, you probably wont be abke to finish it. anyways you can request for take out just request the waiter to include the steak oil. its still delicious reheated, thats just how good it is. Customer service is top notch and food is delicious as always the owner was there to greet some of the customers. place was a bit small though and a bit pricey but its all worth it.

Diverse menu selection and not intimidating. Price point can be high, but it is relative to the kind of return that they will give you in terms of the 3 integral variables in any restaurant: Taste, Quality, and Service. Wine choices pair well with their menu selections. Always finding ourselves craving for that dry aged steak and Lorenzo pasta.

This is still a favorite for us. We love their steak and truffle pasta. It is the best combination for us. The single steak that we order is already good for the two of us. The steak was cooked medium and it was just right. Soft and tender inside while having that charred crunchy texture outside. The pasta was also great. Noodle was al dente and the truffle was just right to give it it taste and smell. They have great service too!

Finally got to try Mamou. With the combine effort from me and my siblings we treated our dad on his birthday here in Mamou. He is a steak lover so this was one was of the top pick by the team.

Mamou 3.0 is the 3rd branch (kaya may 3.0 haha) and located in Ayala 30th. Reservation is highly recommended even on weekdays. They've got two sitting during dinner. We got the 1st sitting at 1800H-2000H. If there are people planning to dine on the 2nd sitting they'll politely inform you about it. So you can prepare about it.

Here are the dishes we got.
🍞Bread Basket - Bread palang panalo na! My mom got a few rounds of this as expected how much she loves eating bread.

🥗Healdsburg's Harvest (335PHP) - to start it of we got this salad. Very simple looking not the over topped toppings kind of salad. The secret to this salad is its delicious dressing Berry Vinaigrette. Love it!

🍝Lorenzo's Truffle Cream (395PHP) - another look can be deceiving kind of dish. This is the most plain looking pasta I've ever seen but behold the camouflage truffle cream is ready to surprise you. Love this flavor packed pasta. Fan of truffle will surely love this.

🥩28 Day Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak (35oz-3990PHP) - Oooh this is a beauty! Steaklover dream. Cooked perfectly at medium rare. Tender and seasoned well. Can't get enough of this steak!

Overall it was an expensive meal but brought a big smile to my dad face.

Newest branch of an old-time favorite. ❤️

Mamou never fails to make any occasion extra special. It was a reunion with lifelong friends and that same night, we’ve encountered one of the owners, Tita Annie with her friends who also came from a high school reunion. The quality of food also gives a feeling of nostalgia. It remained true to its great flavors.

Ordered the usual combo: Greens (P295), Lorenzo’s Truffle Pasta (P395), and 35oz Porterhouse (P3990). The food and amicable service makes up for the price point.

Lovely new branch of Mamou. 3.0 indeed! We were struck by the fantastic service even while seated outside in the bistro area.

Healdsburg's Harvest Saad was excellent. Consisting of greens in season, sweet tomatoes, glazed pecans, dried cranberries, cranberry stilton cheese, berry vinaigrette - it's a very delicious salad.

Orange Kamote Cream Soup was unique. Creamy and good to dunk the complimentary bread in!

We shared a Dry Aged Burger and it was yummy! I guess it's all to do with the USA Prime Grade beef they serve here. Luscious steak patty in burger buns with lettuce, onions and tomato. Great way to end the meal! We asked for the burger to be cut in two, and Mamou's wonderful service means we each got our half in a basket with fries and sauce.

Dalandan Mint Shake was refreshing and tasty.

Their Angus Steak and Foie Gras are both a must-try.. It’s pricey, yes but once you have a taste of it.. You’ll definitely say that it’s a worth it.

Their service? It’s excellent!!! Friendly and accommodating staff..

Imagine just how festive it would be if you lived with someone who can cook like a chef, a celebration on the dining table could be an everyday event. Such is the case for the family of Mamou owners, siblings Annie Montano and Chef Malou "Mamou" Fores, who also happen to be the sister-in-law of Cibo owner, Margarita Fores.

After a decade of success, they've opened their third branch and I had a wonderful opportunity to feast with Tita Annie alongside my other media friends. They didn't just feed us with sumptuous dishes, but gave us a rich background of their humble beginnings.

Did you know that a number of their dishes have stories behind them? I was entertained hearing one after another like the Pappy's Toast, Rau's Platter, and Pol's Pancakes.

This latest spot is now near my home so there's no more excuse not to come back for their superb home cooked meals and warm dining experience. The two other branches are in Power Plant, Makati and Serendra, BGC.

From its facade to its interiors, I really am digging the new Mamou's ambiance. The place gives off a very rustic, vintagey feel to it, like a country home with its white and red wooden furnitures, paint, and backdrop.

Our dinner started off with the Palm Spring Rolls (Php 245) made of coconut palm hearts, ground pork, chili sauce, and garlicky vinaigrette. You should alternate the two dips, as they both enrich an already wonderful appetizer.

Next was their Warm Couscous Salad (Php 325). It showcased a party of colors and a series of healthy fixes of carrots, zucchini, capsicum, red Benguet rice, and smooth whole wheat couscous in it. I'm particularly not a fan of salads until I had this one. This was undeniably fresh, vibrant and tasty.

We were served two of their pastas. First was the lightly seasoned yet filling Mario Bottarga Al Olio (Php 425) made up of spaghettini, tuna roe, and garlic olive oil sauce, served al dente. The other was my favorite meal of the night, Linguine Al Nero (Php 365), linguine pasta tossed in fresh and kicking with savory squid ink sauce. I must admit that we also had a fun time being silly and laughing with the squid ink stains all over our lips and teeth.

Mamou is known for their steak and we were treated with an ample serving of their specialty Angus Ribeye USDA Prime Grade Steak, served with spinach and corn on the side. A single serving weighs about 400 gms and is priced at Php 1,950 while the twin serving is at Php 3,490. It was prepared medium rare, unbelievably tender, juicy, and well seasoned. No doubt the reason why it's the crowd favorite and described as "indescribably good".

Another dish we got to try was their Cuban Roast Pork and Chicken (Php 365 for the half size, and Php 655 for sharing). It is made up of citrus rubbed pork and chicken, buttered onions, Cuban rice, cinnamon saba, and black beans. The meats were oozing with juices and spiced just right with the sides fully complementing one another to give amazing varied tastes and textures. This dish is a must try, it’s a complete meal and it represents how Mamou works hard in their offerings. It is a trademark of their love for food!

No meal is complete without dessert and boy did they come to us like fireworks. We had the Key Lime Pie with Schlagsahne, a creamy, sweet, and tangy delight all in one; the Pecan Pie, a mushy and crunchy bite with a kick of orange zest; and the Dark Chocolate Sansrival, a masterpiece with layers of buttery and bittersweet goodness.

Mamou is definitely the home kitchen we all wish we had and we're lucky Chef Malou and Tita Annie extended theirs for all of us. So the next time you feel a craving or just want to make up a reason to have a great meal without the risk of disappointment, Mamou will be there to welcome you like family.

A plate of steak was served 30 degrees inclined from the table,resulting the juices to sit at the bottom. Waiting for your tounge to indulge in that piece of heaven,slowly dip your steak in its juices...watch how its juices covers the crusty exterior of the steak...indulge...every munch delivers a flavorful yet simple satisfaction on your palate...so luscious...so divine.
