Ordered the shoyu and my girlfriend ordered the tantanmen and these are very good bowls of ramen for their sub ₱400 price. Try the curry gyoza as well. It was so good has that nice Japanese curry sweet taste was a refreshing change from your regular gyoza. The only minor complaint I have is the eggs were a bit undercooked as the yolk was still too runny than typical ramen onsen tamago. I highly recommend Butamaru for your ramen fix with a very reasonable price.
I love the gyoza. I tried the set meal for lunch. The price is reasonable. Ebi mayo is good too. The place is not crowded so its a good place to bring friends even during rush hours.

Outside Mendokoro's, Ippudo's, and Ramen Nagi's, we're hesistant when it comes to trying out other ramen but BUTAMARU (@butamaruph )'s Shoyu Ramen (Php 350) proved to be an exception. I had the vegetables served on the side so this photo doesn't do justice to the ramen.

We loved the Chashu because the meat was tender and they went the extra mile to torch the fat which splendidly caramelized it. The broth had the right temperature when it was served as it was hot enough to warm the tummy without burning our tongues. The flavor of the pork was definitely present. It's less creamy than Mendokoro's but less salty than Ippudo's. The noodles were cooked al dente but a leveled up experience would be upgrading to Shirataki noodles (Php 50) and getting Tamago (Php 50).

Since it's open until midnight, it's better to come after the dinner rush. By then, the place is more laid back and for some reason, the quality of the Ramen is better though fresh garlic and sesame seeds would be good additions (or replacements 😬) to the condiments they currently have.

Looking for a place to eat around Ortigas Technopoint late at night, and came across Butamaru.
They're more of a ramen place, but was happy to find other items on the menu like appetizers and rice bowls.
I ordered the Tori Ten Don which is tempura style chicken in sauce.
I loved that the chicken was very flavorful and was perfectly balanced. My only issue with the dish was that it had a heap load of spring onions, which I think the dish could have done without, but other than that, I really enjoyed my meal. For P290, I think the meal was affordable and enjoyable.
Also, serving time may take a while so I hope they can improve on that in the future.
Wouldn't mind coming back again to try their other food.

This has been our go to place for an evening snack with my wifey since this branch opened. Our most regular order is a Tantan mien and gyoza on the side.
We were looking at tiles at MC Home Depot in Ortigas last week because we are planning to renovate our kitchen. Of course, we got hungry, and despite the heat, we went to Butamaru for some ramen!
I’d been to Butamaru Ortigas before about 2 years ago, and now I’m in the area with an excuse to eat there again!
Butamaru is an Alabang cult favorite (or so I am told). The Ortigas branch is located at the Technopoint One Building in the Ortigas Home Depot compound, but it’s not that easy to find because it is on the right side of the building, a little farther back. PARKING IS FREE (first 3 hours, I think). Well, we didn’t have to pay anything for parking and that is always welcome!

Love their ramen! We go here for our shirataki ramen fix and we love it! Always recommended in this side of town. The staff is really nice and accommodating. The lady manager is rude which is a shame.
Went here around 5pm at Sunday and I'm the only customer which kinda makes me think twice of dining here. I was specifically curious about their low carb ramen (which swaps regular noodles to shirataki noodles). So I ordered Shoyu Ramen with Shirataki (+50 pesos for upgrade). Ramen was served piping hot. The broth was flavorful but not as rich as I wanted it to be. Chasu was flavorful too and easily melts in your mouth. I think the place was underrated and deserves more recognition. Price is reasonable and serving size is just about right. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

Second time here and came by during lunch. Ordered Spicy Miso Butter (P380) and had the noodles replaced with Shirataki (+50). The broth was flavorful, chasu was not the best I tasted but it was good. Surprisingly it wasn't that spicy. Also had Katsu Tofu (P160). This one I enjoyed most. Flavor is unique. It's like fusion of takoyaki and karaage. A must try!
We tried eating here for the first time with my food buddy last valentine's day. What I loved most with them compare to the other ramen restaurant is that they offer shiratake noodles, a low carb noodles, so you can splurge eating your ramen without the guilt feeling of eating too much carbs. I tried the red ramen and spicy miso to my friend. Though, the ramen is not so spicy as what we are expecting, we still liked the taste. The thick broth and the roasted pork passed our standards. We had also availed their promo for valentine's day which is free gyoza. We will definitely coming back..

That’s what I love about this place. We came here around 11:30pm on a Wednesday night and ordered Tsukemen, karaage, tantanmen. On Fridays and Saturdays, they close at 1 AM.
Food is okay. I think the breading for their tempura karaage was too much. For the tsukemen, noodles were okay. The flavor of their tantanmen is not as rich as it should be. Love their chashu! Twas seasoned well.
Service was really good and the turnaround of orders were pretty fast.
