Ordered caldereta, sinantol, fried chicken. Love the creaminess of their caldereta, beef is tender. I like that we can customize the spicyness level of Sinantol. Their food feels like grandma’s cooking. The ambiance is homey, and the staff are very accomodating
I love love love their salted caramel cake! It is the best and a must try!
We also tried their 10 peso cupcakes to on the dsplay. It pairs well with coffee :)
Simple yet sophisticated ambiance in Pasig Area. Got the chance to spot a parking space since this resto is always full especially during lunch & dinner time.
Below are my ratings for the Dishes and Pastries that we tried.
1. Spicy Laeng - 5 stars
I hated this dish when I was little because of its color and slimy texture but when I courageously tried it I feel in love. Perfect Balance of Milky, Salty, Sweet and texture was superb no after taste. Never tasted that its just pure vegetable. Highly recommended to all Vegetarians out there
2. Siningang with Beets - 4 stars
Love the color. Perfect Balance of Sour and Salty with extra health benefits from the beets. Definitely a must eat for the health conscious peeps.
3. Fried Bangus - 5 stars
Big and Crispy, no after taste. Love the sprinkled Garlic on top.
4. Beef with Mushroom
You will never go wrong with this dish. If only I could order everyday.
5. Salted Caramel
Never tasted anything as moist as this carmel cake. It is so ADDICTIVE. Must try!
Hope they get to add more dishes in their menu soon. Can't wait to be back.
Food is typical filipino food. Love their cakes! Yummy naman talaga the salted caramel cakes. A bit pricey lang. love their interiors. Good service!
Me and my parents ate at this Filipino cuisine restaurant for lunch yesterday. We ordered the fish steak and beef with creamy mushroom. I was actually stunned by how amazing their seafood was, the fish was cooked very well and the sauce of it was quite delightful, paired with my garlic rice, it was very satisfying. What really also intrigued me was their design layout. Very painting like mixing and matching the blues and whites. Slightly pricey but was well worth it.
All the dishes that was served to us are spot on. They offer a wide selection of Classic Filipino dishes. And btw don't pass up on the pastries and coffee. Cheers
We've always wondered about this restaurant each time we pass it. One Sunday lunch, we were able to find a parking slot and were greeted by a homey relaxing atmosphere all decked in blue and white.
On the table
🔹Pork with Monggo - lola loved this. There were ampalaya slices too
🔹Fried Bangus with Garlic - i enjoy anything with crunchy garlic and it was such a treat to taste this. The fish was huge.
🔹Beef Caldereta - it lacked the spicy kick i expect from a Caldereta dish but it was good. I think they mixed in some cheese.
🔹Lumpiang Prito - we liked the veggies and the dipping sauce
🔹Rice - served in a giant ramekin. A lot for someone who doesn't have a big appetite
🔹Salted Caramel Cake - their bestseller. Luscious moist chocolate cake with rich caramel icing. Diabetics must keep their distance.
We hit the jackpot with this restaurant that serves home cooked Filipino dishes. Hubby's Lola's kind of place.
*they also sell breads, pastries, whole cakes and ulam to go
