We craved for paella for the day and we went to Las Flores in the Podium for our spanish cravings. We had two kinds of paella: pulpo and negra. It did not disappoint us. We also had solomillo. The beef was tender and good. We were satisfied and not in doubt it was expensive. It was worth a try once in awhile for experience. And oh, the rose sangria was also good.
Pet approved 👍👍
Heard some buzz about this restaurant so my friends and I chose this restaurant for dinner. Initially the place was almost empty, but when we were done with our meal it was already packed.
We ordered the following:
- Calamares (no photo). There were some pieces that were too salty.
- Parillada Verdura. This was actually good. Fresh ingredients were used.
- Tuna Belly. This was just so-so.
- Canelones. Stuffing had a mush for its consistency, but the bechamel sauce, the stuffing, and the pasta were good.
Service
- Servers were attentive to our needs.
I will definitely go back to try the other tapas and their paella.
Great Spanish food, nice atmosphere, and most importantly ample parking. A bit pricey, but worth it for me. Their tapas are really good. I also love their Paella Setas. Wine selection is also pretty good.
Tried their paella of the month, gambas, beef tripe, and two other items that the waitress suggested. Food was soooo delicious! They also have alcoholic beverages (we tried their sangria with strawberries).
Will definitely come back as price is just right!
The whole family was craving for some authentic paella for dinner. The tapas and regular dishes came really fast, and the paella and pork came shortly after. The only thing I didn't like was the squid ink paella, which was a bit too salty, yes, even for paella. The price is a bit on the higher end too. Overall, has a filling and enjoyable dinner.
My friends and I had the Cena de Vino wine-pairing course. Highlights: The cold starter salad with mango was perfect with the sparkling white wine, the arroz with shrimp and octopus was very flavorful, and the presentation of the smoked wagyu (tender and rare) was very theatrical, although the red wine tasted a bit heavy paired with the smoky flavor. The sweet desert and tawny port were a perfect cap to a fine meal.
Compliments to Chef Ignacio!
First time to try Las Flores in Podium! I have been reading and hearing about this restaurant for a while now. We ordered Angus and Foie Gras Minis, Fried Pulpo, Pulpo Paella and a bottle of wine ( We were also given complimentary Pulpo Croquettas!). The Angus Minis was my favorite of all the items ordered. The beef was just so soft and tender. A great place to have a quiet dinner and some wine 😉
Low score on Zomato as a result of... I dont know what. This place is really good. Every single dish that we ordered knocked it out of the park. As you can see from the pictures they are so well prepared and just picture worthy. None of the food lacked in flavor and the service was fantastic. Need to come back to taste their paella soccarat style (yung tutong na masarap na delicacy).
✔Very accommodating staff
✔Perfect for date night
✔Go to place if you're up to "light" meals
➖A little too price for its quantity (however, the food we ordered as shown (pictures) was really delicious💯
Masarap pagkain. Ok service. Walang litrato ng salmon and salmon super sarap. At yung paella negra ok.
What ill order again: salmon and salmon, paella negra, croquettes chorizo (but i wanna try the iberico too), callos, gambas
Yung sa wagyu and foie gras sliders magkahalo na sila sa patty.. di ko nagustuhan yun. Syempre hahanapin ko lasa ng foie lang mismo
