What I loved about the black angus five cheese burger were the following: the black angus burger patty, the five cheese, and the burger bun.
1. The burger patty is so beefy and melts in your mouth. The beefy goodness bursts in your mouth every single bite.
2. The five cheese gives that cheesy, salty punch in the burger.
3. The bun. Soft, kinda buttery, melt in your mouth. I was just simple yet makes the entire burger so, so good.
Now, about their fries: I've tried both the potato and sweet potato fries. I'm a ketchup person so having quality (Heinz) ketchup went very well with their crisp fries. A perfect contrast to their burger. The sweet potato fries had dry spice that was generously sprinkled over it giving it a little bit of spicy kick. Also, it went well with the ketchup and a little bit of mustard. By the way, if there's no condiments on the table, the condiments are available in the fridge in front of the cashier -- all you have to do is tell them you'd grab some to your table.
Overall, my dining experience in Charlie's is a good one.

I love the wagyu burger,its juicy and cooked the way i like it.
Service was prompt. Cashier was knowledgeable with zomato gold’s buy1+1 promo. Self service. Condiments can be taken inside their drinks refrigerator. Burgers were juicy and cooked well.
Fries was good too.

One of the food establishments you should try when you visit Kapitolyo. They serve good burgers, pasta, and of course the beers. Has both open area and the air-conditioned area. Place is clean and well ventilated.
Black angus cheese burger is really good paired with iced tea and garlic aioli! Their wings are also my mom’s favorite.. especially with the blue cheese!
One of the best wagyu and angus burgers in the Metro! Wait! I mean in the PH! Charlie's 5 cheese Wagyu and Black Angus Burger are the bomb! Your taste buds will surely grind and thank you with its exquisite flavors and spices. Definitely a go-to during your burger cravings! We also ordered Truffle Fries (with LIVER toppings!!!) and Spicy Buffalo Wings on the side. These are super tasty and comes in large portions! A must try.
PS: Aside from their yummy selection, the owner is super cool and kind. Plus points people!
We ordered the black angus, and since we are on gold, we got it on 1+1.
The quality of food has been consistent ever since. The patty is always juicy and fresh. They suggested angus instead of their wagyu, probably because of freshness. We also ordered the chili and cheese fries and bottomless iced tea.
A real bang for the buck esp since we had zomato gold.
Charlie's has been our favorite since 2008 and the quality of their food has not changed! Our staples: angus burger, fries, nuclear wings, and AIOLI!
Thank God for Zomato Gold! And of course, thank God for Charlie's!
We’re supposed to have dinner here , unfortunately it was closed tonight. I dont know if it’s an ongoing renovation or just for today. It is very unlikely for them to be closed on a Friday.
I'm not much of a burger girl but Charlie's has made it to my comfort food list, which really means a LOT. Haha. There's nothing in the menu I've tried I didn't like, but nothing beats the basic Wagyu Cheeseburger here. I also usually couldn't between a side of fries or onion rings so I always end up ordering both. Plus wings. And hotdogs. Plus bottomless iced tea. And beer. Any sort of beer they have, local or foreign, is good. And don't forget the milkshakes! I'm just so happy with everything they stock up their restaurant with. Thank God for Charlie's.
Definitely one of my favorite burgers in town. I also love their onion rings.
The burgers here are consistent and always served fresh.The patty is thick,juicy and flavorful. The wings are also a highlight of this place
Great food. We've been here 3 times already, and only the first time we had a bad experience with the burger we ordered. The Charlie fried chicken Burger was not the best, but we had no choice since the gourmet chicken burger was not available. The wings and sweet potato fries were good!
The next two times we had superb experience in terms of food, since we had the gourmet chicken burger and fries. Both were really good!
Ambience wise, they have either Aircon seating inside and an outside seating which is also good if the weather supports it. Service wise, they are really quick and courteous guys.

Came here as a party of 5, so the ordering was slightly chaotic. 2 of us were #ZomatoGold members so we had 2 additional dishes. 3 of us had burgers (Angus and Wagyu cheesburgers), 1 had Philly steak, and 1 had the burger steak rice meal. All of them were excellent. The sides (dirty fries and chili fries, coleslaw) were excellent too. Only problem we had was that some orders weren't served (completely forgot the clam chowder and sticky wings, and they almost forgot the burger steak rice meal).
PS. Also tried their snapdawg, Chicago is good.
With all the new burger joints in Manila, Charlie's Burger remains a classic. Tasty burgers paired with equally tasty sides makes for a good casual dining experience. 👍🏻
Deyyyyymmm. Really love their burgers. It is on the pricey side though, but their food is really good. Service is ok. Really am wishing that they can provide a smoking area in their place.
Our go-to-place for burgers and wings. Tried both Wagyu and Black Angus burgers and both are good. Tried their flavored wings too and I like the sweet better than honey BBQ. 😊 You can have carwash too while eating. 😉
Angus burger and hot wings are good. Place is newly renovated and looks cleaner and brighter now. Would come back for the angus burger and will probably try the rice meals.
I initially thought that Charlie’s isn’t vegetarian-friendly. With a quick glance on their menu, I saw that they only have 1 burger that I can eat: a SHROOM burger! It was really good, though I find it a bit pricey. But since I’m a Zomato Gold member, we got the other burger for free. Not bad at all ☺️

Simplicity at its finest! Charlie’s burger was the first legit burger I fell in love with. And yes, you can have unli aioli and their signature sauce for free!
Charlie's Grind and Grill still serves one of the best angus beef burgers and chicken wings!! Probably my favorite chicken wings!! Quality remained the same and I like their newly renovated place in Kapitolyo. Definitely coming back!!
Good food and staff! Loved their chicken wings. Very generous with the sauce. Ambiance was great. Felt very homey and fast wifi speed as well.
Always a delight visiting the OG burger place in Kapitolyo! Their burgers are of course a+, but the cheesesteak is something I'd order again.

Yummy burgers! Ordered the double angus burger and sloppy wagyu. Skip the wings and the fries. Unless you're using Zomato Gold, then I guess they're ok. They're free anyway.
Value for money. Paid 900++pesos for 4 half dozen wings and 2 fries and were 7 in the group. Love the garlic parmesan flavor for the wings!!! ❤️
Black angus five cheese burger was good - recommended for people who like a lot of cheese in their burgers! Philly cheesesteak was okay - the meat was a bit dry.

Sobrang convininet na mag pacarwash then haircut and food while waiting. Always go for their 2x wagyu and peach tea. Solid din 1lb nacho hahahahaha
We always go back for their Fresh Fries - Dirty, Nacho, and Chili. Burgers are always made fresh and best paired with aioli. My personal favorite is the no frills black angus cheeseburger.
Go-to burger place. You can't go wrong with Charlie's. I love their burgers and house fries! Super happy that they have buy 1 take 1 on zomato gold!!
The place is a lot better now. Their chili dog is the best and we usually get that when we go here. Its best to go here during weekdays to avoid the crowd.
Good foo! Good ambiance! Quiet place. ☺️ Clean tables and restroom. Service is great! Will def bring more friends here. Always a go to place in Kapitolyo specially on Sundays after mass. Has a car wash beside also. Will just have difficulty in parking during peak hours.

After Brothers Burger, Charlie’s was the “it” place for premium quality burgers. My fave was their wagyu burger, very tasty and flavorful wagyu beef in soft bun! Bring on the calories as you add on more toppings and cheeses! Be prepared also to shell out for its hefty price tag. Parking is a problem.

Great food and they have a lot of choices! More than just a burger joint :) seems simple outside but it’s a pretty spacious restaurant. Good value for money especially with Zomato Gold!

We got the BBQ hot wings & Sloppy Burger. The quality of their food is definitely great, no questions asked. I’m rating it 4 stars because A LOT on their menu is not allowed on Zomato Gold. It took us 5 minutes w the cashier because almost all the first dishes we ordered are not allowed there. But yea, everything else is great!
I have tried Charlies twice thru Zomato Gold and it didn't disappoint. Although, most of the food that we wanted that night were unavailable like the Salpicao and Sloppy Burger, what we got was still great and my family members were very satisfied. We also have to commend the place as it was very clean.

Charlie's Grind and Grill is very dear to me. My Dad took me here for the first time when I was in sixth grade, and even now that I'm a working fresh grad, I still find myself coming back here whenever I'm looking to satisfy my burger cravings (also, it doesn't hurt that I live only a few blocks away and it's right next to where I sometimes take my car for a wash). To wit, before I ate at Charlie's, burgers were never really my thing, but after having my first Charlie's burger, I realized that I was only just missing out, and that good burgers actually existed.
Plainly put, Charlie's serves good burgers. Just straight up, no nonsense, burgers that fit in your hand and taste great. Two buns, not too doughy and starchy like a lot of other burger buns seem to be. Beef patties, your choice of Angus or Wagyu (I've always been partial to the Wagyu, but the Angus is nice as well), juicy and well seasoned. Standard burger vegetables (tomato, onion, and lettuce). And one slice of American cheese. That's it. Of course, you could always modify it to your tastes and get some add-ons like the Portobello mushrooms (those have always been a little over-the-top for me), but the classic single-patty burger makes a good foundation for anything you might be able to think of.
However, let's not forget their other offerings. Charlie's makes pretty good fries, and they have a wide selection of toppings to choose from. Personally, I've tried each variant at least once, and I've liked them all, though the Home Fries are my favorite. They serve some pretty good clam chowder as well, which makes for a nice texture contrast from all of the salty, crumbly things you're eating there. They also have other things like hotdogs and rice meals, but for me, they kind of convolute the menu and strike me as really unnecessary. But not the milkshakes! Do yourself a favor and have one before you leave, you won't regret it.
It also needs to be mentioned that they have a comprehensive selection of refreshments to choose from, most of which are exotic. They have imported beers, fruit juices, and sodas, which pair nicely with your meal and are a great way to wash everything down. I personally like having a bottle of Fuller's London Pride to go with my Wagyu cheeseburger; it rounds everything out.
So long story short, I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a quick burger fix that gives you a lot of value for your money, definitely hits the spot, and can go toe-to-toe with all the larger, fancier burger chains out there.
The cashier was patient with us in explaining the food included in the Zomato Gold. Although I jumped when they yelled my name for our order. Maybe they can use table numbers next time?
Overall, a pleasant experience. The food was great and quite plenty for its price.
Relatively quick, no-frills service. The place was cool (air conditioned), spacious, clean and bright. Rather extensive menu for a “burger joint”. While the burgers may not be the best, they are pretty good and worth the price given the quality of the beef (especially with Zomato Gold).
Ate lunch here and ordered the Black Angus Burger Steak and Cheeseburger. Honestly it was a soso. If not for zomato gold I wouldnt think the meal was worth 200 php. Anyway I would still come back here cause they still have a lot of stuff in their menu that id like to try

First off, we decided to try Charlie's because it is a Zomato Gold restaurant. So we were expecting to get the 2nd meal we ordered for free.
We wanted to order Double Wagyu (P410) and Double Angus (P390). But the cashier informed us that the Double Angus can't be our complimentary meal because they only allow dishes below P300 to be complimentary. I was very disappointed to learn this. One of the other servers explained that their cost has gone up. That's why they're implementing a P300 cap on the complimentary dish. As a business owner, I understand their reasons. But as a customer of Zomato Gold, where I was promised that the 'dish of the same or lesser value than the highest priced dish will be complimentary,' I felt misled.
As we were in the restaurant already, we decided to just stay and try their food. We ended up ordering the Double Wagyu (P410) and the Angus Cheeseburger (P250).
Double Wagyu - There were 2 beef patties and some lettuce between the 2 buns. I felt the patty-bun ratio was just right. The overall taste waa okay. I think it's best eaten with ketchup and mayonaise.
Angus Cheeseburger - There was 1 beef patty with melted cheese, lettuce, a slice of tomato and a pickle. I actually enjoyed the cheeseburger more than the Double Wagyu. But maybe it's just because I love cheese.
Overall, I may come back again for their burgers should I find myself in the area.
Brought my fiancé here for the first time and he was impressed with what we ordered (except for the Honey BBQ Chicken Wings, which was good but we were underwhelmed). We had Five Cheese Black Angus Burger, Meatball Marinara, half dozen of Garlic Parmesan Wings and half dozen of Honey BBQ Wings and two glasses of bottomless iced tea) We used our Zomato Gold and can't beliecmve that we onle paid less than 900 bucks for all of the items. I just think the staff should be re-oriented on the terms and conditions of the Zomato Gold Benefits. My fiancé and I both have Zomato Gold and we were initially told that there should be four people dining for us to use both our Gold privilege. But still grateful that the staff called their account manager to clarify things out.
The first angus cheese burger that I’ve tried more than 10 years ago. Tried it again just recently from their new branch in BF Homes Paranaque and it didn’t fail me. Still tastes the same 10 years ago. Its quite expensive before but now its more affordable compared to other burger joints.
I love the fact that they have unlimited and free condiments, especially the Aioli! The wagyu cheeseburger burger was okay, not really remarkable but wings are good and spicy just the way I like it. Thick cut fries are crispy. Rating this 4/5 because of how worth it is to eat here using (2) Zomato Gold! We only paid 600pesos on everything! (See photos)
The food is really good and we got the chance to angus burger, chili cheese fries, bbq wings and a vanilla milkshake!! The crew is really attentive even though the store is crowded. Great job!! Thank you Zomato Gold!!!
Ate here last night at around 10pm and I was expecting bad service and all due to the reviews, but overall I am satisfied. Food was served in less than 20 mins, servers were nice and polite. We were also given wifi access.

Medj mahal lang yung fries cuz 105 pesos pero sarap naman!
Their wagyu burger is relatively smaller than the angus one.
As per the staff, Wagyu cheeseburger is their best seller and it did not disappoint! Also, do not underestimate their chicken wings — really a must try especially that the skin is so crunchyyy!

I enjoyed my Zomato Gold experience. I ordered the amgus cheese burger--and it was just right . Not to greasy and very flavorful. I suggest you order only the burgers in a single receipt using your gold account. Order other items like fries separately if you wish.
Charlie’s is my go-to place whenever I’m in the mood for a big, greasy burger in the area. I particularly like their wagyu cheeseburgers which taste really fresh and meaty. Their fries are also great, thickly sliced but still tasting really fresh.

This is one of my go-to burger places. Nothing fancy, just a simple honest place to get your burger fix. Delicious juicy patties and always, ALWAYS have your buns toasted. The texture combination is the best! And never forget to enjoy their AIOLI sauce with your burger and sweet potato fries.
Their OG burger also known as the Black Angus Burger is the bomb for me. Also like the black truffle fries (best eaten as soon as they serve it.) I am a huge fan of rootbeer float and I can say that theirs is on my number 1 spot. (Makes me wonder what brand of vanilla ice cream they use) Thank you Charlie’s Kapitolyo for a fun and filling experience.
