Had lunch with the in-laws. Place was nice with a view of the city. We ordered the Sliced Chicken with Jelly Fish, Glutinous Rice in Lotus Leaf, Steamed Scallop Dumplings, Roasted Barbecue Pork, Dried Scallop Fried Rice with Egg White, Fookien Misua, Baked Barbecue Pork Buns, Beef Brisket Hot Pot, Sweet and Sour Pork, Taro Puff, Chilled Avocado Sago, and Chilled Mango Sago, Everything tasted very good. Service was average, due to volume of diners. Staff looked tired. Price was on the high side, but made acceptable with credit card promo.
Nian Gao known locally as Tikoy is now available for pre order.
What a delicious way to welcome the year of the Metal Rat !
The Nian Gao (Tikoy) is a traditional symbol of blissful abundance and good fortune at the beginning of the Lunar New Year and best to enjoy with friends and family...
Normally, I feel like Chinese restaurants taste the same, whether cheap or expensive. This is the second time I've tried Lung Hin, but during my first visit, we had the sets because we were invited by a friend, so this is technically the first time we're ordering the dishes a la carte. The view is spectacular, at the 44th floor, so the price is worth the food and view. Super happy we did, cause the roast goose is only there for a limited time, and it was super juicy, and the plum sauce is sweet and sour, complements the goose. The diced beef cubes and foie gras is really good too. The foie gras is fried, but it melts in your mouth with the beef. Wish there's more foie gras though! The asado tasted really authentic too. For dessert, we had avocado sago and mango rice dumpling which were delicious too.
The food taste so good and delicious. Staff are super attentive knows what they are going and approachable they know how to look after to their guests. The food that we ordered were highly recommended by them. And I must say it is yummy. I will definitely be coming back and hopefully next time experiences would he the same.
Reserved a table through zomato for my birthday. Loved the place!! Food was excellent, family fell head over heels in love with the macau style seafood rice. They also gave me a little cake to celebrate my birthday!! Staffs were super attentive and service was excellent. We enjoyed dining here. Thank you so much! 😊
Love the ambience esp dinner time.. food is great as always ❤️ staff are friendly and very accommodating. Thank you and cant wait to come back soon
Very good dim sum and ala cart. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp spring rolls. It’s not the usually Cantonese style Chinese but it’s very good in its own way.
Had the scallops with broccoli, three flavored prawns, different dumplings and mango pudding. Excellent service, great city view at night. Among the prawns the sakura flavored one beats the salted egga nd blueberry flavored ones.
(Late review) But we ate here last week and the food is heavenly
The view by the window is exquisite, very good service, the food we ordered (Hot Sour Soup, Cold Cuts, Hakaw with gold flakes, Spinach Hakaw, Baked Pork Buns, Siomai with Truffle, Machang, and a platter of Fresh Fruits, were all very good 👍🏻
Will be back to try other food in the menu.
good resto view a good view of the Ortigas metropolis and the Antipolo heights. i love that their service was spot on and they have options for pescatarians like myself. instead of the fried prawn rolls and the hakaw, they offered the vegetarian dumpling which was enclosed in a reddish-pink casing and the mix did not take veggie-y at all. though their dalandan juice was from a concentrate, you could tell the difference because the cost was not a laughing matter too. their chili paste was made w/ a shirmp mixture so the taste had depth and was posh to the taste compared to ‘em store bought ones.
Chinese Cuisine at its finest!
Lung Hin Marco Polo will always be one of my favorite restaurants. This restaurant offers a good variety of menu suited for those who want to experience Chinese fine dining.
Their Hongkong style fried chicken has a very crispy skin coupled with a juicy well seasoned meat that melts in your mouth.
The stir fried spinach is well prepared and the crunchiness of the veggies was retained. The baked bun however was too sweet for my taste, you cannot taste the meat flavor caused by all the sugary flavor in the dough.
The dessert is mediocre, they should elevate the dessert that goes equally with their mains.
Brilliant Chinese restaurant in the Ortigas CBD. Honestly, although it is fantastic overall, it is overshadowed by the Summer Palace and Xin Tian Di in EDSA Shang and Crowne Plaza respectively.
Their dimsum offerings are quite unique. Several of their menu items are dabbed with a hint of truffle - try the siomai and vegetarian dumplings. The mushroom buns are a favorite too.
Our favorite viands are the seafood dishes, and the prawn dishes in particular. Try any of them - everything we’ve tried has been delicious.
I've been to Marco Polo Manila many times before, but more often than not, it's to eat at Cucina (I also had a grand time during my visit to Connect Lounge and Vu's Sky Lounge). Last week was my first visit to Lung Hin, their Cantonese restaurant located at the 44th level of the hotel. I've heard many good things about it from friends, so when Marco Polo Manila sent me an invite to try out their specialties, I was psyched.
Lung Hin features contemporary Chinese flare offering traditional and authentic Cantonese food and fresh seafood made by its very own Hong Kong Chefs. And this January, Marco Polo Manila introduces a new menu that is set to excite the senses, transporting diners to Hong Kong through the fine art of Cantonese cuisine cooking.
Lung Hin Marco Polo Manila
I've had lunch at Lung Hin at the 44th floor, Marco Polo Ortigas a couple of times already with business clients. I normally find Chinese cuisine too greasy and MSG-laden for my liking, but Lung Hin serves top-notch Cantonese fare that's cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. I highly recommend their steamed shrimp dumpling with gold leaf and deep-fried spareribs. The restaurant is spacious and relaxing with soft ambient lighting and music. The wait staff is courteous and professional--if only this demeanor extended to the security personnel at the main entrance. I find it somewhat odd that they'd have to ask "Ma'am/Sir, sa'n po ang punta nila?" before letting us inside the premises. It's rather off putting to have to explain we're there to have lunch with clients, not that it's any of their business.
When a restaurant goes the extra mile to accomodate your weird allergies, you know it's a good one. Lung Hin's service, as well as its Cantonese cuisine is top-notch and well worth the visit. Here are a few items we tried:Steamed Pork Siomai with Truffle Sauce
Dumplings are always a staple in Chinese restaurants but Lung Hin’s siomai has hints of truffle that brings out the earthiness of these morsels.
Boiled Shrimp Rolls and Pearl Mushroom Soup
It is surprising to get a mildly seasoned and flavored Chinese dish - I am used to them being very strongly flavored - but this soup is simply sublime. Not a lot of salt (good for the health!) so the sweetness of the shrimp and mild, earthy flavors of the enoki mushrooms were a good combination.
Steamed Garoupa with Shredded Pork and Shredded Mushroom Ancient Style
Lapu-lapu is a very meaty and tender fish and the pork and mushroom lend their earthy taste well.
Fried Shrimp in Vermicelli and XO Sauce
This dish can stand on its own. The XO sauce brings out the salty-sweetness of the shrimp while the noodles are a nice frame.
Fookien Fried Rice with Diced Shrimp and Dried Scallop
This fried rice topped by the fruits of the sea - shrimp and scallop - are a nice flavorful treat with the goose.
Chilled Mango Pudding
This is simple dessert with perfectly ripe mangoes and cream on top is the perfect palate cleanser and book ender to the sumptuous meal. And because it went through a little heat that killed whatever gives me the itchy throat, I got to enjoy mango!
Signature Earl Grey Iced Tea
The winner of a Marco Polo-wide search for their signature drink this iced tea served on a flute is a refreshing drink with frozen elderflower-infused ice cubes and poured over seedless green grapes. No, really, It's soooo good. Over-all one of the best meals I've had.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Metro. I particularly loved the scallop dumpling & the Peking duck :) a good place to take clients and special people in your life!
If you want to chill out in a fine dining area with nice ambiance, go straight to Lung Hin at Marco Polo Ortigas -- their food is great! Do not forget to order their spareribs! It's the bomb!

I've dined in here twice already - one with hubby and the other one with my family just recently. Since we're big on Chinese / Cantonese dishes, we enjoyed our experience at Lung Hin.
Let's talk about its location first. I like the fact that it's on one of the topmost floors as it means it's less crowded than, say, Cucina, which is on the same floor as the front desk. The interiors are ok, but you'd expect more from a five-star property. Tip: request for a table near the window with a nice overlooking view of Ortigas Center.
Now, here's what I think about the dishes we've tried so far:
1. Steamed pork siomai with truffle sauce - it was good but ordinary for me; the truffle sauce didn't make it stand out from the hundreds (or thousands?) of other siomai versions out there
2. Three-flavored prawns - this is one of their menu items that I'd recommend (not for budget-conscious foodies, though)
3. Crispy tiger prawns in soy sauce - we love prawns so we had a blast digging in; some of the prawns were a tad overcooked, though
4. Baked tiger prawns with cheese and butter sauce - this was a pleasant surprise for us; we didn't know the prawns will be served with pasta, but we actually enjoyed the dish; the sauce was yummy!
5. Stir-fried diced beef with vegetables - it was good overall; seasoned very well and the meat was tender, but I prefer to have the beef meat thinly-sliced
6. Yang chow fried rice - my kids loved their version of yang chow; however, the serving is not enough for 3-4 as what they told told us; in fact, we ended up ordering one more for the kids (on top of the 2 cups of plain rice we ordered for me and my little girl)
Servers / attendants provided good service. Serving time was a bit long, though.
Wonderful Cantonese style Chinese food with a superb view of the Ortigas skyline. The dimsum reminds me of the best that one can taste in HongKong.
June was a busy month for my stomach! Our #PrigiEats (foodtrip with wifey) had taken us to a whole new level of gastronomic experience. We were recently invited by Zomato in their Foodie Meet up at a well-known hotel in Ortigas-the Marco Polo. It was a terrific Cantonese culinary experience as our dishes were prepared by a Hongkong native and cuisine master, Chef Lai Cheuk Kou. He has over 36 years of experience from different famous restaurants and hotels around China and Hongkong. Can you imagine that?
If you find yourself in Lung Hin Restaurant at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas Center (Metro Manila, Philippines), make sure that you grab yourself some baked pork buns. It’s simple street fare-turned-Michelin star dish thanks to Tim Ho Wan. However, Lung Hin’s version gives its popular cousin a run for its money. The baked pork buns here are slightly larger but you will get the familiar crumbly sweet bread and barbecue pork filling. I loved this so much, I ordered a box for takeaway!

Food Recommendation:
Baked Barbecue Pork Bun (PhP 220.00)
- This is hands-down the best pork bun that I have ever had! I’ll definitely come back for this.
Cheese Baked Tiger Prawns
- If not a little overcooked, this dish would be - without a doubt - my favorite during our feast.
Dragon Fruit with Bird Nest
- This is my first time eating food with bird’s nest. I don't understand why some people go crazy over this. It doesn't even have any taste. However, its texture and the combination of the other ingredients make the dish more interesting.
If there would be a phrase that would best fit Lung Hin, it would be a "feast for royalty". A great ambiance paired with great food would translate to an outstanding experience that would draw you back. Here are some of what I highly recommend:
Shrimp Dumpling with Gold Flakes - Tried eating gold? Well, here's one of those opportunities that you might want to jump in. Kidding aside, the dumpling was really great, and the gold leaf garnish made it really interesting.
Salt-Baked Chicken - Very simple yet tasty. A dish that has no gimmicks. Something that you could really enjoy with rice. Speaking of which...
Macau Style Seafood Fried Rice - Too bad the rice was served later but it was a good compliment to most of the dishes.
Wok Fried Veggies - The prep was good, maintaining the texture of the veggies.
Pork Buns - Ahhh yes, how can I even remove you from the list... If you are a fan of pork buns then consider of trying this out as an upgrade. You'll definitely thank me later ;)
And for the adventurous tastebuds, you might want to consider Dragon Fruit with Bird Nest. Bird Nest is know to be included in soups and for it to take form of a dessert is something you must try as well.
The experience was superb. although it comes with a steep price. But for special occasions or events, you might want to try out Lung Hin for an experience fit for royalty.

I have always wanted to eat dumplings with gold flakes so when I was informed that the next eat up will be at Lung Hin, I just had to say yes.
Lung Hin is located at the 44th floor of Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas. The whole place screams elegance. They have private dining rooms perfect for a more intimate dining experience. We were served a lot of dishes during this visit and they are the following.
**Dumpling with Gold Flakes
** Steamed Diced Pumpkin, marinated cucumber with wasabi vinegar, jellyfish, and salt-based chicken
**Cheese Baked Tiger Prawns
** Pan-fried Dice Beef Cubes
** Double Boiled Duck Soup qith Goji
** Steamed Garoupa with Cordyceps
** Wok-Fried Vegetables
** Macau Style Seafood Fried Rice
** Dragon Fruit with Bird Nest
First of all, the dumplings with gold flakes were really a beautiful sight. I just wonder if the gold flakes improved the taste of these dumplings? I’m not really sure but it surely made my experience here allthe more special. The marinated cucumber was a surprise as it tasted really really good.
The Cheese-baked Tiger Prawns are presented beautifully as it has all the nice colors. The cheese made it really delicious but I think the prawns were overcooked. It can still be improved as I think this dish can really be a best-seller. The beef cubes were good! Each bite was just awesome.
I really enjoyed their Steamed Garoupa and Wok-Fried Vegetables. This is kind of a surprise as I’m a self-confessed carnivore. The veggies are well-cooked and perfect with their Macau-Style Seafood Fried Rice. I just hope they served the rice earlier.
The dessert is such a beauty! The Dragon Fruit with Bird Nest was super refreshing. It’s the perfect way to end the Chinese feast.
ADDITIONAL:
And lastly, how can I forget their PORK BUNS. Seriously, it’s one of the best in the market. It’s bigger than Tim Ho Wan’s and more delicious for me. It made everyone in the group think of buying one (or two) orders for take-out. Come on, I’ll definitely be back for this.
AMy favorite dishes were the Ha Gao (steamed dumplings with gold leaf), the pan fried diced beef cubes, and the salt-baked chicken.
The beef was flavorful and tender, while the deep fried avocado it came with was perfectly crisp, making for a nice contrast in texture.
The salt-baked chicken is presented as a whole chicken, without any sauces or condiments. At first glance, it looks pretty simple, but once you take a bite, you’ll immediately realize why there aren’t any accompanying sauces – the chicken is really, really tasty on its own.China Ken Lingling Ish Meets World PigOutSundays
During our 3 days 2 nights stay at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, we decided to have an amazing Cantonese food here at Lung Hin Restaurant in 44th floor . So many fine-dining Cantonese or Chinese Restaurants that I tried Internationally, but definitely the quality of the food on this restaurant is amazing! Their Hot & Sour Soup, Salted Egg Prawn, Shrimp Dumpling, Pork Siomai and Cantonese Crispy Fried Noodle are all definitely a must-try here!

Whenever we think of Chinese dishes most Filipinos would often think of Dimsums, Braised Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork and Noodle Soup. But there’s actually more on their menu that we should all be exploring to fulfill our Chinese dishes cravings. One of the highlights of our recent staycation with Marco Polo Ortigas Hotel is our dinner at Lung-Hin. We got to enjoy finest Cantonese dishes that we have never tried before.
The crazy Manila traffic usually limits my range of where to eat. But when I got invited to attend a scrumptious dinner at Lung Hin, a Cantonese restaurant of Marco Polo Ortigas, I said yes forgetting that there's forever with EDSA. And true enough, it took me long to get to the beautiful hotel. My exhaustion was soon swept away though upon stepping in the classy restaurant on the 44th floor.
Definitely a must if you are in the area. Lung Hin delivers on it's promise to serve Cantonese food at its finest. The asparagus is very fresh and tasty. The lapu lapu will taste as it should, and the yang chow, it is what a yang chow should be. Sarap!!!!
This restaurant which is on top of the Marco Polo hotel is food haven for Chinese food lovers. I had my experience here for free - it was the birthday of our group head.
Of course it was pricey, but we didn't know how much of pricey this place was, it was free anyway. What really caught my attention was the pork buns, it was fantastically good! I actually liked it more than Tim Ho Wan's.
I can no longer recall all the food that were served, it was a lot that others had a take home (not us though). I love their dimsum and the deep fried spare ribs. In addition to that is the scallop fried rice. Plus look at that kwek kwek! So flawless right? It was one of the toppings in the noodles. The birthday cake slice was supposed to be for my boss but he gave it to me cs it was also my birthday - month.
Ambiance was "shala" - sosyal of course.
Cozy and quiet ambience, attentive staff, interesting menu. Pricey but worth it. We enjoyed the food. This belongs to our top 10 Chinese restaurants. keep it up! 🖒

Greeeat food and service! It was a great place to celebrate my lolo's 84th birthday.
We had a banquet of suckling pig, prawns, wild mushroom, birthday noodles, pig (one is pork and one is monggo) siopao, chirozo fried rice, pigeon, mango sago, and soup. I think there were other dishes but these are the ones i remember and liked.
Everything was so well cooked. The ingredients were top notch, and the serving was really big.
There were about 5 servers handling our group of 20 so all our needs were catered to immediately. It was a good night with good food and great people!
We planned to have dinner at Lung Hin last Saturday but I ended up of dining alone due to traffic.
The staff greeted me when I reached Lung Hin and find me a table for two before she handed me the menu. I got Salted Egg Squid and the must try Baked Barbecue Pork Buns. While waiting for my order I went to the side where I was so fascinated with the magnificent view of Ortigas Center and low-lying Rizal from the top. Watching the city lights, moving cars and busy streets... made me relax in a bit.
Salted Egg Squid for Php400.00 per order - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
Baked Barbecue Pork Buns (3 pcs.) for Php220.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

#ilovetoeat 😃❤️
I was invited to Dine at Lung Hin, Marco Polo in Lieu of my Best Friends birthday. She reserved a room good for 16 people and our orders were based in a consumable amount (I'm guessing around 10k or less?)😂
The vibe of the restaurant is very modern and elegant. We were situated in a private room facing the Ortigas Skyline at night.
The ff. are the ones we ordered:
*Stir Fried Squid w/ Mashed Salted Eggs and Seasoning
5/5 ⭐️
LOVE THE TEXTURE of the salted egg here. All calamari tastes the same to me and is usually paired with mayo or some other dipping sauce but this one can be eaten by itself no need to add condiments to make it tastier.
*Crispy Pork Spareribs in Garlic
4/5⭐️
*Spinach Seafood Soup
3.5/5⭐️
*Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Matsutake and Abalone
5/5⭐️
First time to try this soup and it reminds me of Tinola cause of the Chicken Stock. Love the jelly texture of the Matsutake (Mushroom) and Abalone which made it fun for me to eat kahit di ko alam what i'm actually eating at first. Haha!
*Steamed Shrimp Dumpling with Gold Leaf
5/5⭐️
Tha gold leaf made it fancy but it tastes the same with other Hakaw's i've tried before.
*Crispy Roast Suckling Pig
3.5/5⭐️
*Roast Peking Duck
4/5⭐️
*Pan Fried Crispy Egg Noodle w/ Prawn Ball and Minced Pork
5/5⭐️
Verdict: It's still more enjoyable to eat in Hole In The Wall Chinese Restaurants or the ones in BInondo or probably Hap Chan. Lol. The way they cook it and present it is more appetizing. I wonder why>
Only a few more days before the Fire Rooster comes in. Still looking for a place to celebrate the Chinese New Year? Why not at Marco Polo’s Lung Hin where you’ll surely be treated to a grand and fun celebration. 😉. Yes, the place does look grand. It exudes this elegance yet making their diners feel right at ease. I liked the seating arrangement on the right and left side of the place as it’s suited for those small gatherings. They also have function rooms that’s perfect for corporate meetings or fun celebrations.
Lung Hin is one of the most exquisite Chinese restaurants in Manila so I was glad my friend brought me here for lunch.
We first ordered their Steamed Shrimp Dumpling with Gold Leaf. It's Hakaw with that nice gold design on top. 😊 All 4 of us loved it.
Then we went straight to the 2-way Roast Peking Duck that we ordered. It's one of their bestsellers considering that almost all their guests ordered it. The waiters were busy slicing them per table.
We had half of our Peking Duck wrapped and the other half was fried.
For once, I liked the wrapped Roast Peking Duck more than the fried version. The latter was just too fatty for me though it also tasted good. The flavor was enhanced by its vinegar dip.
We ordered the ff. dimsum: hakaw, siomai, beef ball, and custard buns. Their truffle siomai is nothing special. The beef ball is better at gloria maris, i think. But the rest were awesome.
Their seafood hot and sour soup had just the right amount of heat and sourness. And my favorite of them all: their jellyfish appetizer. So yummy! You can tell they use high quality ingredients from their dipping sauces to the dishes.
We also ordered the tofu and eggplant hotpot. It was meh. It was bland and very ordinary. Hence i find it steeply priced.
Will be back to try out other dishes.
Update:
The salted egg crab was yummy! I kept exclaiming "ang sarap!" It was cooked and pre-chopped perfectly. I didn't have a hard time getting all those meat out. Thumbs up!
I have been feasting on Chinese cuisine for weeks but I am not complaining at all. And sampling some of executive chef Raymond Yeung’s special dishes from Lung Hin would definitely warrant a big fat yes from me.
I was able to sample Marco Polo’s signature Earl Grey Tea with Grapes and Peach Flavored Syrup along with Lung Hin specials Drunken Chicken, Crystal Duck Terrine, Chicken Consommé with Chrysanthemum Tofu and Matsutake Mushroom, Steamed King Prawn with Steamed Egg, Deep Fried Lapu Lapu with Sliced Mango and Sweet Chili Sauce, Fried Rice with Asparagus and Five Spice Pork and Homemade Snow Skin Mooncake.
Dinner was served the traditional Chinese way where cold appetizers were served first followed by the mains, rice and dessert.
One dish that stood out was the Steamed King Prawn with Steamed Egg as it reminded me of my all time favorite penoy which I find hard to find here in Manila. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t taste like street food at all. It had a nice rich egg flavor and it went very well with the succulent king prawn and asparagus. I would definitely brave the traffic for three bowls of this bowl of heaven!
More details about my Lung Hin experience on my blog soon! :)
Their new Chef, Chef Raymond Yeung, prepared a five course meal for us. Sharing over 26 years of Chinese culinary experience, he came up with unique dishes bearing complex flavors. Mixing traditional and modern culinary techniques, using local ingredients to keep everything fresh, Chef Raymond is very serious in providing high quality dishes to his guests.
We started off our dinner with a taste of Marco Polo's Signature Iced Tea.
Cubes of frozen Earl Grey Tea with some green grapes were served in a wine glass followed by a generous pouring of more tea. Since the ice cubes were made up of tea, the drink got cold without the watered down taste.
Lung Hin means Dragon Pavillion, according to the people from Marco Polo Manila. Dragon, in Chinese beliefs, are a symbol of luck and longevity. Truly, the Cantonese cuisine here explores its delicacy. The new chef explained to us what the menu is all about. Chef Raymond really explained the details and its philosophy towards its cuisine, and is evident in its food.
The courses were spread into 5 dishes that was progressive in terms of taste and textures. from low to high. The simplicity of its cuisine and presentation is really a new way of presenting Chinese cuisine from what we're familiar of.
Drunken Chicken was so simple and clean subtle flavor with a hint of wine, as an aftertaste. It was a great way to spark the palette to start of the dinner.
Crystal Duck Terrine was a new way of having a liver pate. Half smooth liver mousse topped with a floral patterened aspic jelly. It was clean, smooth, and jelly-fying.
Chicken Consomme Chrysanthemum Tofu & Matsutake Mushroom. It's a perfect palette cleanser that has a clean chicken finish. It reminded me of our chicken soup with tofu at home. The tofu was dellicately sliced with precision to bloom like a the chrysanthemum flower.
Steamed King Prawn with Steamed Egg. Imagine chawan mushi and steamed king prawn. The marriage of flavor and texture was just perfect. The silky, smooth, light duck egg combined with the sweet, succulent prawns was just stunning.
Deep Fried Lapu Lapu with Sliced Mango and Sweet Chili Sauce was a presentation of east meets west. Lapu lapu was fried to crisp. The sweet chili sauce combined well with the fried fish. For my preference, I still prefer the steamed one. It's highlights the delicacy of the fish.
Fried Rice with Asparagus and Five Spice Pork. It was a nice end to our savory meals. Flavors and textures was present. I like the chunks of spiced pork that gave it a fragrant aroma. I just find it a little bland, because it was just seasoned with light soy sauce. The chef explained that he wants to highlight the meat, if he added salt with the soy, it might mask the flavor of the pork and kill the flavor.
Snow Skin Mooncake. Delicacy in a bit. the mooncake was filled with sweetened white mung bean. The sweetness was just right and perfectly paired with my Te Guan Yin tea. They left some textures instead of mashing it into a smooth paste. For me was wonderful that gave it a little bite to this dessert.
Lung Hin presents Chinese cuisine in a different perspective.

I've mentioned a few times how I was blown away by the quality of food served at Marco Polo Ortigas' Flagship Restaurant, Cocina. However, little did I know, this was just the tip of the iceberg. Housed high up at the 44th floor of the magnificent hotel, is Lung Hin, Marco Polo Ortigas' restaurant that specializes in the culinary wonder that is Chinese Food.
Great service, food, drinks and ambiance... I've been here a few times and I've tried quite a few items on the menu. Unless you have specific food allergies don't be afraid to order something new, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
I dined here for a few months ago but all i can remember how i enjoyed the experience.. lol
-Amazing place and view of Ortigas
-Good service
-I love all the food that i have tasted especially the black fungus in vinegar.
-Good wine pairing
-Expensive but dinner was great.. =)
Absolutely delicious! My personal favorites: abalone with black mushroom, foie gras and squid in salted egg.
What we ordered:
Suckling Pig Cold Cuts Combination
Sautéed Scallops and Cuttlefish with vegetables
Twin vegetables with crab meat and egg white thick sauce
Spinach soup with seafood and dried scallops
Braised sliced Abalone with vegetables
Steamed Fish While Garoupa with light soy sauce
Deep Fried Crispy Chicken
Fried Rice Yang Chow style
Braised E-fu noodles with Abalone Sauce
Sweetened walnut cream with glutinous rice dumpling
Chinese pastries
A fine dining restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine. Wasn't able to take a photo of all our orders. But these were the ones that caught my eye. A gold leaf on top of a dimsum (Hakaw). I love hakaw, and this dish did not fail me. I don't actually know what does the gold leaf tasted in this or if it has any taste.😂 Their shrimps are served per piece. I have tried a bluerberry and sakura flavored shrimps here. I liked the blueberry one. The one in my picture, I'm not sure what flavor it is anymore, but the skin was hard to remove so I guess it was overcooked? I like how they made the radishes into heart shapes, though it taste so so. What we really didn't like about the restaurant was its slowness in serving the foods. Yes I know it is a fine dining, but we waited for a very long time for our next foods to come. Thus making me hungry and unsatisfied. 😭
I've finally got to dine at all Marco Polo's restaurants. I got two friends to tag with me on this last one- a fine dining offering Chinese cuisine.
I'll be honest, the price range are on the upside. For example our Scallop Fried Rice was Php 688. That's their smallest serving and one of their lowest priced one too. Was it worth it? Not really. The scallops were not obvious enough. It was tasty enough though by itself.
They might be trying to be funny too when they mentioned Sweet Sour Pork with Blueberries and only having it on top of it. I was expecting a blueish colored dish and a full integration in the dish. Putting that aside, this was their best one among the 4 we had with them.
The Stewed Spicy Herbed Chicken I also enjoyed. It's similar too a Three Cup Chicken. The sauce was filled with bursting spices but lacking bit more heat.
Braised Tofu with Wild Mushroom was my least favorite but good enough to be paired with the rest of the items we had.
My first time at Lung Hin. Very nice ambiance. Service was rather patchy with the rice arriving before the soup and needing to follow up on a couple of dishes.
Here's what we ordered and the rating of each dish out of 5:
Birds Nest Soup - 5 (very tasty and the scallop pieces in it made it substantial)
Steamed BBQ Pork Bun - 3 (not remarkable and not as good as that in other restos)
Steamed Bamboo Shoots rolls with superior broth - 5 (small dish but extremely flavorful)
Soy chicken - 3
Baked Tiger Prawns Sichuan style - 4
Sauted Diced Beef with Goose Liver in golden nest - 5 (amazingly good - a must try)
Lotus Rice - 4 (better than Yang Chow)
All in all, an expensive but satisfying meal!
Food is above average
Ambiance and place is dignifying
Service is extremely great
I'll come back here because of the service this place provide. Good job 👍
The food experience from this fine dining place is definitely worth a try. The food quality is high. Place is best for family gatherings. From starters, to main dish, up to dessert, it will be a treat
This is a formal Chinese restaurant high up in Marco Polo Hotel. They even have two sets of chopsticks on the table set-up per seat: one for getting food from the tray and the other for eating. The meat slices, vegetable and seafood ingredients had a premium feel inside my mouth.
The flavors are not so strong but not bland. If you’re used to the mainstream Chinese restaurants, take this one differently. The flavors are very natural and balanced. Also, I am sure that there’s no MSG used.

We were introduced to Lung Hin when we had a lunch meeting with a client. We liked the food so much that it has become a regular venue for us. This is not a traditional Chinese restaurant, it is more like a fusion place as they use ingredients such as truffle oil and foie gras in their dishes. The items on the menu may seem unfamiliar but the wait staff generally make good recommendations.
very good tasty oily chinese food. special recipes you can't find in a standard chinese restaurant (even the top ones). the price however is very high. I only ate here because of the 50% discount from my platinum card I think. and even at 50% the prices were only acceptable. I would rate this 5 if the prices were cheaper.
What to order: truffle siomai, Peking duck, bean curd fried spring roll, and their fried breaded squid.
What not to order: lotus rice - some might like it but personally didn't enjoy the taste
We went here to celebrate my parents' anniversary. Yummy food and great service. Although the food was quite slow in arriving, it made us savor each dish. The food we ordered all arrived hot.

Since we've checked in at Marco Polo, we decided to have dinner and celebrate our son's first birthday at this restaurant. The staff was very accommodating to us and always on our call. We love the crispy roast suckling pig and the sautéed beef with goose liver. They also gave my son a complimentary cake. Luckily, a friend of my husband's boss was there and offered to pay our bill. Of course we said yes!
We had a variety of dimsum and some mid-range dishes as we didn't order the high-end ones. Maybe next time when we have more budget to spare :)
Of the dimsums we had, most impressive were the hakaw and the fried radish cake with xo sauce. The latter was excellent! The hakaw was plump and juicy and the swrapping used was acceptably thin, unlike the thick wrappers of the cheaper versions out there. The rest were just OK.
On the mains. The fried crispy chicken was really good except that for the life of me, I could not understand why a fried half-chicken(and it was a small chicken) would cost P800++. The salt & pepper squid was very nice except that it was a bit too pricey for the quantity served. The kailan stewed in garlic was just OK, while the sweet & sour pork was definitely not good. It tasted too sweet and lacking in the sour taste one looks for in this dish. The meat was also kinda tough. The baked bbq pork buns were so-so. It was not as sweet as other versions (which I prefer) but it was a bit on the sour-tasting side. For dessert, we had the avocado in coconut milk and the musashi balls and both were very good and highly-recommended.
So Good!
Must Order --
1) Siomai with TRUFFLE sauce
2) Black Vinegar Beef cubes with garlic!!!
3) Scallop dumpling
4) Baked BBQ Pork Buns
Service is good but on a sad note - Check your food before you eat it. They served us spoiled spring onion pancakes. It smelled bad (maasim) and tasted funky but they didn't want to take it off the bill because we already ate it daw.
