Had lunch with the in-laws. Place was nice with a view of the city. We ordered the Sliced Chicken with Jelly Fish, Glutinous Rice in Lotus Leaf, Steamed Scallop Dumplings, Roasted Barbecue Pork, Dried Scallop Fried Rice with Egg White, Fookien Misua, Baked Barbecue Pork Buns, Beef Brisket Hot Pot, Sweet and Sour Pork, Taro Puff, Chilled Avocado Sago, and Chilled Mango Sago, Everything tasted very good. Service was average, due to volume of diners. Staff looked tired. Price was on the high side, but made acceptable with credit card promo.
Nian Gao known locally as Tikoy is now available for pre order.
What a delicious way to welcome the year of the Metal Rat !
The Nian Gao (Tikoy) is a traditional symbol of blissful abundance and good fortune at the beginning of the Lunar New Year and best to enjoy with friends and family...
Normally, I feel like Chinese restaurants taste the same, whether cheap or expensive. This is the second time I've tried Lung Hin, but during my first visit, we had the sets because we were invited by a friend, so this is technically the first time we're ordering the dishes a la carte. The view is spectacular, at the 44th floor, so the price is worth the food and view. Super happy we did, cause the roast goose is only there for a limited time, and it was super juicy, and the plum sauce is sweet and sour, complements the goose. The diced beef cubes and foie gras is really good too. The foie gras is fried, but it melts in your mouth with the beef. Wish there's more foie gras though! The asado tasted really authentic too. For dessert, we had avocado sago and mango rice dumpling which were delicious too.
