This is where I spent my pre-birthday dinner last Thursday night. The branch only have few costumers and we were lucky to pick our own seats (6pax). By the way, most of their main dishes have size serving choices which is Gamay (small) and Daku (big).
We ordered Pork Sisig, Pinakbet, Adobong Pusit and Pork Bicol Express all in Daku serving except for the Pusit which only have one serving size. We all ordered unlimited garlic rice which is by the way very appetizing. The Sisig is the stand-out dish here which is superb by the way and rivals other mainstream sisig. The Pinakbet is the surprise hit which has a very strong bagoong flavor. Other Pinakbet have bland taste but this one is strong and the Ampalaya and Eggplant is perfect in this. The Adobong Pusit is also good, the pusit slices are cooked perfectly. Lastly, the Bicol Express which is the only letdown on the dishes we ordered. The gata flavor is too thick arousing the 'umay' factor almost immedietely. Maybe this is best for plain rice to balance the thickness and flavor.
The Ambiance was great while the service is outstanding. Kudos to the crew.
Read a lot of bad comments about Hukad’s food and service but our recent experience negate all that. Besides, why would the place be crowded every meal time?
We came in early for lunch and had a seat. Food came in one by one 10mins after ordering. Everything we ordered taste great! Except for the kinilaw which was too salty. Escabeche didn’t have any wow factor but was good. What we liked most was the adobong talong and lechon! Must try! We also ordered pancit canton but I’m not a fan so didn’t tried it. But my son and husband liked it.
Service was fast and the staff were courteous and accommodating.
Highly recommended.
The restaurant is very spacious, there’s no need to wait for a table. The staff are very friendly. And the food arrived so fast. The lechon belly is a must try. By the way, they also have unlimited rice.

We were curious as to the name of this restaurant. It turned out that "hukad" meant the handle of a ladle.
The servers were very courteous and answered the questions we had. We were also seated right away.
My wife and I agreed that today is going to be a meatless Monday for us, so we ordered the Calamares, Laing, and Scallops. The Calamares gets a 5 star for its crispiness (and that included the tentacles). The Scallops were just a tad salty for our taste. The Laing was a bit unexpected as it had pieces of solid "gabi" included. It tasted very good though.
The ambiance was ok, although there were some areas where you can feel the blast of the airconditioner.
The ambiance here is incredible. It is situated in the corner space of the mall where you can see the busy lights of Marcos Highway. Even my grandma loved the view. Thumbs up for the food also. Their menu is Filipino cuisine. We were also suprised that they are offerring unli rice. Price is reasonable.
Love the tuna belly and the agua fresca was little on the sweet side tho, staff was very attentive, place was clean would come back and try the lechon belly next.
Discovered Ayala Mall Feliz this week, got a free HaloHalomazing [odd & cute name] because it was their anniversary treat. This place has a view, albeit be the highway. Looks great though, we're eating while all the rest of the people are stuck in traffic. hahaha!
Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. I loved the belly its really a must try if you will visit here, also the kare kare it has a different taste for me and i can say it so good. Very nice food and affordable. I wanna commend also the staff and the manager. They are so very friendly and always smiling, and the manager was very busy entertaining their other guest and he also serve and taking orders, what a nice leader. We are so satisfied with overall experience in fact my mother in law told me that she like the vegetable dish so much and she was planning to come back tomorrow to have lunch with her friends. will definitely recommend this with my friends.
My favorites are kare-kare, ginataang mongos, lechon belly de cebu. Crispy dinuguan is also a must-have. These are just some of the Pinoy dishes that you wouldn't regret trying out. Reasonable price.
Good food and good service! We had the sisig and lechon for dinner and it was very delicious. The service here were quite hospitable and they always have a smile on whenever they come up to our table.
