I love this place so much! I have eaten here for more than twice already and I know I'll keep coming back. I love how these simple Filipino dishes are served fresh at your table with a twist. One reason why I love this place most is because of the pastries/desserts- my favorite would be Dulce De Leche Cheesecake. I got my eyes on those from the moment I first stepped in the restaurant tbh. Sending all the love to Chef Laudico and his Team!
Last Thursday, I was looking for a cafe/restaurant which serves good food & has a quiet ambiance. I thought of OK Cafe since I often pass by it when I go to my office.
Entering the cafe I knew that I’ll be able to work here because it’s not that crowded and it has that vibe I’m looking for.
The staffs were friendly enough when we ordered. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that the waitress didn’t repeat our order as what should have been the proper response after a customer gives her order. This is to avoid the unfortunate event of having a wrong order placed. Nevertheless, I let it go and hoped for the best.
Since it’s our first time to try the cafe, we did not know what the food will look like. We just assumed that the waitress got our order right, namely: Sinigang na Bagnet, Bacon Bagnet, White Chocolate Frappe and Red Velvet cake.
When our order arrived we happily devoured our food and was surprised that it tastes way beyond OK. Value for money is definitely a big thumbs up. 😊
The only downside from our experience is the fact that we got 1 order wrong. Instead of getting a Bacon Bagnet, we got Bagnet Pakbet. We didn’t know the difference in terms of face value because in the menu, both meals have “grilled pakbet veggies”. We only got the confirmation that our order was not Bacon Bagnet when we saw the receipt.
Overall I give 4 stars, which would have been a 5 star rating if not for the fact that we got 1 order wrong. Despite this however, I’m still willing to try a different order soon and hope they wouldn’t mess our orders 😊
Cheap convenient cafe inside Renaissance as advertised. Food has signature Laudico twist to traditional dishes. Their longga steak and adobo mushroom soup are very tasty and earthy, respectively.
Had my breakfast here and ordered angus corned beef and it was amazing. The free coffee (timed), big plate made my stay here relaxed and ready to face the day. They also offer a wide variety of meals including all-day bfast as well as scrumptious pastries.
Also tried their strawberry shake it was great!
Service - very nice "ate" 😊
Ambience - good love the industrial lighting in rose gold!
Food- amazing! (Except for the scrambled- Its too soft or creamy for me,forgit to tell the server about my egg choice)
ANGUS BEEF SANDWICHES AND TAPA ARE THE BEST!!! 🍖 DON'T FORGET THEIR CRISPY BACON BAGNET 🥓
Location around Pasig City- accessible
We enjoyed our breakfast after our night shift work.
I love this place so much! I’ve been frequenting this spot because I’m attending Pilates classes in the other building. Slowly trying everything on the menu. They are all worth it (taste wise and serving size). The white chocolate cheesecake is a revelation!
Tried their Chicken Adobo Confit, and it was awesome! It's a quarter sized chicken served with generous amount of rice and some string beans
You’ll go in hungry, you’ll come out more than satisfied. The place is a bit hard to find unless you live in Renaissance Center. Plenty of parking but definitely not free! Place is well lit, menu offers a lot of variety. Good breakfast place since it opens before office hours start.
Been Seeing Chef Laudico OK Cafe on my facebook newsfeed as most of my friends (in Ortigas and Mandaluyong area) has been there already... Recently, I got the chance to visit and dined here as I had a meeting at the 2/L of Renaissance Tower and WHOA!!! this cafe is truly worth visiting frequently. Now, I envy the residents of Renaissance as they are just an elevator away from the Cafe.
For those who doesn't know, "OK" stands for "Orlando" and "Kea," the beautiful children of the famous Celebrity Chef couple, Roland and Jacky Laudico. In the last 7 years, I've been to the different Chef Laudico restaurants (their very 1st brand was Bistro Filipino) and OK Cafe maybe the smallest in terms of space area but NOTHING is small here in terms of their food TASTE and SERVING PORTION.
I and my companions ordered OK Cafe's BACON OVERLOAD Omelette (PhP 189.00), CHICKEN ADOBO CONFIT Silog (PhP 189.00), LONGGA STEAK Silog (PhP 169.00) and SUPER yummy ANGUS BEEF TAPA Silog (269.00).
F-A-S:
FOOD: Super love their Omelette and will definitely come back to try the other flavors. The Angus Beef Tapa was excellent, both in taste and serving portion, the PhP 269.00 price tag is truly WORTH IT. 4-Stars based on the 4 dishes we tried :)
AMBIANCE: Clean, well-air conditioned, cozy, strong wifi connection and decorated beautifully.
SERVICE: Well mannered people to they still have to improve on ATTENTIVENESS to diners. Wit the size of the cafe, service staff should know already if a guest needs something before being called on.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... See you there! Cheers!
Very nice cafe located inside Rennaisance Tower Condo. Great lighting and cozy atmosphere. Food here is generous in serving, and properly platted. Their pizza looks like its cooked in a brick oven, though quit big for its price is a great partner for their other meals. The make great smoothies (its actually more of a shake cause we didn't notice any crushed ice in it).
