We ate in their vertis north branch. I had no idea how their food tasted and I did not do any research so I wasn't really expecting much. After my 1st bite, I immediately knew that my decision to eat here was right. I absolutely loved their mama lou's special and quatro formaggi pizza. The pasta I ordered is also one of the best I have tasted. Even their home made iced tea was good. Their price is reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely coming back to eat here. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great itallian dining experience!!!

Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen is our comfort restaurant, me and my wife absolutely love this place, and whenever we have friends and family who wants to experience good food here in the south, Mama Lou is always one of our options. The food is great and the service is good. We always go to the bf branch since it is near our place, but we also checked out the evia branch, both are good but we liked the BF branch more, just hope we can have the cannoli in the bf branch soon. We have tried a lot of the food but what we usually order are mushroom rissotto (my wife absolutely live this), baked italian meatballs, i love their seafood olio, pizza bianca, or margherita pizza, the marbled ribeye steak is really, really good, its not thick like all the other steaks from steak houses but Mama Lou's marbled ribeye steak blows them away. We also like their carbonara, pizza saliccia (not sure if i spelled that correctly), gambas, braised beef ribs, and the mushroom chicharon, really a must try, my wife also likes the gnocchi and we also like vesuvio, its fairly new, but we usually share one order because its really hearty. The tiramisu in Mama Lou is my favorite, i like the generous mascarpone and the lady fingers a bit wet so its not dense, paired with their brewed coffee. We have eaten here way too many to count and its always great, during off hours and during peak hours, but of course you should also adjust your service expectation during peak hours, considering a lot of people are dining, the servers, specially at the bf branch, gives a good effort to make sure everyone is given utmost attention. Hope this quality of food and service never wane and more success to the business.
I recommend the mushroom chicharon and seafood olio!!! Super yummy!! ā¤ļøā¤ļø tip: breadās refillable. The dip they give you has balsamic + honey so itās unusually sweet and malapot. If you want the traditional Italian taste, you can ask for Italianbalsamic vinegar (yung maasim) by request.
I've been wanting to try this restaurant, and I finally did, with a special occasion -- my parents' 34th anniversary. The ambiance is nice. It has a feel-at-home vibe to it.
We ordered chef's salad, pepperoni pizza ('cos my nephew doesn't like too much veggies and anchovies), bacon poutine, rollo di pollo, and truffle mac 'n cheese. Delicious! That's all i can say. ļæ½ And the Mama Lou's special iced tea is also a must-try.
We enjoyed it as a family. Rest assured, we'll be coming back.

Very delicious food! We enjoyed every dish we ordered! We recommend the Grilled Tuna Belly, Mac & Cheese, Salpicao and most especially the Pizza Margherita - all a MUST TRY! Also capped it with a dessert to die for - the Mama Lou's Cheesecake topped with Mango - all oh so YUMMY!!!
My boyfriend [100008675855654:Carlos La Rosa] brought me here yesterday to celebrate our first anniversary. So this place will forever be memorable. The ambiance and the setting of the place caught my attention, paintings, woods, wines, ang sarap sa mata. Wide variety of food to choose from. We ordered Mozzarella Sticks for appetizer, Beef Salpicao and Seafood Pasta plus Raspberry Juice and Mama Lou's Special Iced Tea for drinks. Didn't order desserts we were so damn full. And everything tasted really good. We are definitely gonna come back. ļæ½

I love everything about mama Lou's bf. The ambiance, the food, the staff. I always make it a point to dine in at least 2x a month :) if there's one thing that needs improvement though is the parking but aside from that, every experience had been wonderful :)

I always bring my baby dog with me whenever I dine out. I ate at Mama Lou's for the first time today and I was soooo touched by the gesture of your staff Mr. Kevin who offered my baby a bowl of ice cold water without me asking him or anyone from your restaurant. It was the first time a restaurant do such a sweet gesture and I really really appreciate that.
Not to mention, their food are sooo yummy, ambiance is okay as well. Service is superb ļæ½Will definitely come back again. And hopefully, you guys breed more Kevin on your other branches.

Quality food! Loved the buttery escargot, the flavorful risotto, my perfectly cooked burger steak smothered in mozzarella... everything was delicious. Service was also good, the waiters were very attentive. Highly recommended!

Finally was able to try @mama_lous famed Lasagna, and it surely did not disappoint. My sib has been raving about this non stop. The sauce was made from fresh tomatoes instead of commercial sauces, the topping wasn't too thick which was another plus as it wasn't "nakakaumay". Our household generally liked it š
I would also like to commend the staffs in this branch for top notch customer service. They were very attentive and efficient. We ordered this for delivery/ takeout and they have coordinated well with us. Seamless transaction from taking orders, paying online until delivery. The food was also still warm when it reached us.

My brother and I decided to treat ourselves on payday and stopped by for dinner after work.
We were lucky to arrive just before the dinner rush and were seated at a table near the entrance with good server visibility.
We ordered the City Sampler - my brother being a fan of anything deep fried and appetizers usually goes for this at any restaurant that has such a dish on offer and for our mains I tried the Chicken Piccata and my brother ordered the Chicken Parmigiana - which, oddly enough, had been printed under the seafood section.
The Sampler was a hit and miss. The calamari, tartar sauce and italian sausage were quite good, the sausage in particular impressed us (we come from Germany) but the wings were underwhelming in size and flavor and the fries were just fries, also for the portion provided, quite pricey, and not really worth ordering.
I enjoyed the Chicken Piccata with mashed potato, but again I felt the portion could have been more generous for the price I was paying - I'd have liked more veggies on the side than the scant serving provided.
My brother let me try a little of his Chicken Parmigiana, a dish I've sampled at other Italian restaurants before, and I have to say the tomato sauce was probably the best I've tasted so far.
Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, the servers were friendly and attentive, despite how busy the restaurant got and the service was prompt.
While on the pricey side, I would most certainly consider stopping by again.

This was the first time we tried this restaurant. Ambiance was nice and the servers were quite efficient. We ordered Caesar's Salad (without the chicken strips), Clam Chowder Soup and a 14-inch Hawaiian Pizza. The salad serving was huge! The clam chowder soup fell below our expectations - it had too much veggies included in it. The pizza, on the other hand, was perfect! The crust was thin and super crunchy and they did not scrimp on the ham and pineapple toppings. By the way, the complimentary bread (appetizer) was also good with 2 kinds of dips.
Goat cheese and spinach pizza!
It's the family's favorite restaurant! The steak is really good and the choices of pasta is good. Its for the whole family. Youngster and young at heart will love to eat here.
Can I just say how much I love their raspberry iced tea? And it was a great thing I have Zomato Gold privileges here. I would definitely come back.
Went here a couple of times. Their pasta dishes (ravioli, carbonara) are good. Risotto al mare is awesome. Kids like the mozzarella sticks. Their pizza is just ok. But overall, the meal experience is great.
The food was delicious. I canāt get over how good the tuyo pasta was. Will definitely go back even without Zomato gold. The pizza was good too and their houseblend iced tea was yumm!
So far, so great. Nothing we didn't like about the restaurant - food, interiors, service, presentation were all great. Good food is good but when the staff are very friendly and accommodating, it makes the visit even better. Mama Lou's Special Pizza was great - the mango under the prosciutto is a pleasant surprise. The spaghetti meatballs could be a tad bit meatier though, it's bordering ordinary tasting but it wasn't bad. Onion soup was good. Can't wait to try everything else next time!

It was only the 2nd time Iāve been in Ayala Malls 30th but happy that they had Mama Louās because I like their food. Not a fan of drinks so much so we didnāt use our Zomato gold membership privilege.
Food/Taste - we ordered the spinach and goat cheese pizza (super yummy), lorenzo truffle cream pasta (i want to learn how to make this!) and salpicao (beef was really tender and mashed potato was creamy delicious). Serving size was good though only the pizza seemed to be big enough for sharing.
Ambience - itās a simply decorated restaurant with wooden tables and chairs. The space was clean and not too noisy. Good place to have lunch or dinner with family/friends.
Service - their staff were attentive. They also give you free bread with olive oil/balsamic dip which you can munch on while waiting for your food to be served. You can also request for parmesan cheese to add to the dip.
Great place to get pasta and pizza. I especially love the pizza with an egg in the middle and the pizza with spinach. Pasta is also cooked to perfection, seasoned nicely and with a generous serving. 10/10 would come back again.
Everything here tastes great, though the risotto tartufo funghi is especially delicious. Plus they give free bread with olive oil as appetizer.

We tried Lucioās Truffle Pasta which was new on the menu ā itās good, but would be better if there was meat in it to add more contrast. Also ordered their Vesuvio pasta as it was recommended by our server but I honestly did not like it.

I looove this resto! All the foods Iāve tried are delicious. My boyfriend and I go here whenever we crave italian food, itās of one of our go-toās. But one time I ordered pasta via Grab, the only utensils in the bag are spoon and knife. Got no choice but to eat my yummy Vongole with a spoon. Seems like a small thing, but didnāt really enjoy my pasta because of the utensil. Hope you improve take out utensils š

Spinach and Goat's Cheese with Quattro Formaggi Brick Oven Pizza (PHP 450) love that you can combine 2 flavors in 1 pizza so we can taste different flavors. The one with spinach is ok but I love the Quattro Formaggi!

Serving time is a bit long and our pizza was of wrong flavor when arrived so we had to wait 20 more minutes for our order.

Great service, the staff were very accommodating! I would definitely recommend going here. Sunday was a little busy but I think coming after 1pm will clear out the space.
It was my first time to dine in this restaurant and it was a very pleasant experience. I enjoyed the food particularly the Spaghetti Seafood Olio. The pasta was very al dente and you can really taste the seafood flavors in it. The servings were also big which made them very "sulit". We will definitely come back to try other dishes! Lastly, Mama Lou's iced tea was excellent and had a unique refreshing taste perfect for any food you'd order.

This is probably my favorite restaurant and Iām so happy theyāre in Zomato Gold. Whenever we eat here, we always get the same dishes. We love their Spinach and Goats Cheese Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks, Shrimp AāLimone Pasta. TBH all their dishes are good so ya!! We also tried their new Truffle Cream Pasta and itās so yummy. Their servings are good for sharing so itās perfect for family dinners & dates.

For pizza(large) we ordered All Meat, Spinach & Goat Cheese and Tabarnes, my best pick would be Spinach & Goat Cheese which is surprising because i love meat!!!
For risotto, we had Risotto Tartufo Funghi and Risotto Pesto al Pollo. The latter is easily the better of the two. I most likely could consume one serving by myself, though the serving is good probably for 2 to 3 persons.
For protein we had 2 servings of fried chicken, is soooo crispy and juicy!! Hopefully next time i get to try other proteins on their menu.
For pasta, we had Truffle Mac & Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese, Spaghetti Seafood Olio. Didn't get to rqste spaghetti Bolognese because I AM FULL!!! I loved Seafood Olio, at first it looked dull but I'm really surprised how it tasted. I even liked it better than truffle mac & cheese!

Four of us had Sunday lunch at the Ayala Malls The 30th branch. The food was certainly worth the wait. We especially liked the Prosciutto Funghi Pizza but I wish they'd give more arugula. The pumpkin soup, the pasta -- Spaghetti Pomodoro Basilico and the Truffle Mac and Cheese Alfredo, and the Greek salad all passed our individual tastes. We agreed the place will be in our list of restaurants we are likely to frequent.Ā
Servings were generous, price reasonable.
Hopefully for improvement: while the ambiance was okay, the acoustics leaves much to be desired. Another sour note were two kids whose elders went their merry way dining with no attempt to stop the kids from running around and shouting. No fault of the restaurant's but maybe it could designate a specific area for families with kids. It also took several requests to get an extra bowl, etc. but it helped that the waiters and waitresses good naturedly coped with the lunchtime crowd.Ā
In spite of all these, we are definitely going back, most likely to its branch at Ayala Vertis which is more accessible to us.
Great food - we ordered salmon, risotto, and the jalapeƱo pasta. Good value. Service was a bit slow, but perhaps this was because there were many customers.
My boyfriend and I liked the food, especially the risotto since we both like anything with truffle. Ambiance was nice, too. The only thing that we did not like was the slow service although it was probably because we went at a peak time.

I used the Zomato Gold privilege last night here (and only paid around 400 php!). The service was fast and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the Mama Lou's special pizza and my personal favorite, truffle risotto. The pizza has mango and cold cuts on it. I was pleasantly surprised that they go well together! The arugula also gives an interesting taste to it. Also, the truffle risotto was cooked beautifully as usual. What a comfort food!
Went here with my boyfriend for a late Valentine's celebration and it was a very pleasant visit. You are given bread and balsamic vinegar with olive oil for dipping the moment you take your seat.
We ordered the Mushroom Chicharon, which was crispy on the outside yet soft and tender inside. Then we had Mama Lou's Special pizza served with arugula. The mild saltiness of the prosciutto paired very well with the sweetness of the mango. Lastly we had two Ribeye Steaks (Thank you, Zomato Gold) on the medium well side.
The menu for this branch is outdated when we came, they pretty much removed a few stuff. Will definitely come back! (Forgot to take photos, we immediately chowed down :( )
My go to Italian place. My staple would be their chicharon mushroom and the Mama Lou's thin crust pizza with prosciutto, mango and arugula. The balsamic vinegar droplets adds the needed acidity.
Food is worth it. Although, one pizza and pasta dish isnāt enough for 2 hungry people. Definitely would recommend buying another dish to go along with it.

This dish includes chicken wings, fries, calamari, sausage, nacho chips with tartar, pomodoro and cheese sauce. I found the chicken wings and calamari a little dry but the sauces did the trick. The sausage was my favorite. It was sliced thinly and its taste had a slight kick of garlic.

We visited Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen on a Sunday at dinner time. The place was full so we waited for awhile. The staff were attentive once we're seated at our table.
Using Zomato Gold, we ordered carbs overload: Truffle Mac & Cheese, Lasagna, Spinach & Goats Cheese Pizza, and All Meat Pizza. The servings were generous. We were 3 at the table and though we were really hungry, we were not able to finish the food. We (my friends and I) all loved the Spinach & Goats Cheese Pizza so that gets 5/5. It was simple and plain that you can't help but notice the creaminess of the cheese. 4/5 for the All Meat Pizza. 5/5 for the Lasagna which was really tasty. 4.5/5 for the Truffle Mac & Cheese which was unique but the sweetness of the truffle complemented the saltiness of the cheese.

Food is GOOD. We ordered Mama Lou's Special Pizza, Chicken Piccata, Gambas and Vesuvio. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. I particularly liked the Gambas and Piccata. The pasta was a bit chewy for me, but my friend liked it.
Good value on their dishes. We used zomato gold and got 2 dishes for free! (we unlocked 2)
Service was good as well. Water is refilled automatically and the free bread with olive oil-balsamic dip was nice.
Overall I would recommend it and would definitely be back. I hope they can include salads on the zomato gold deal. š
Worth the price. Food portion are really big.. 2 menus can do share for 3. Unfortunately beef menu are not available during our visit, maybe next time.

This is by far one of the best pork chops I have ever tried and I try every pork chop around the area as best as I can. Seasoning was perfect, not too salty not too bland. Cooked just right so itās cooked all the way through but still super juicy on the inside. The pasta was also equally great, also seasoned perfectly and not too oily either. If it werenāt for Zomato Gold I wouldnāt have discovered this place so Iām glad Iām not missing out anymore. We will definitely come back!!!

Iāve eaten in this branch of Mama Louās before and twice too in their UP Town branch and I really like their food. One of the best restaurants in both malls for sure.
Iāve previously had the Vesuvio, which is quite an interesting take on a dish and I quite enjoyed it. It was cooked well and the flavors all worked together.
on this visit:
Truffle Mac & Cheese - I think one of the dishes theyāre most known for. It was creamy and the truffle really came through. The cheeses werenāt too weak that the truffle wasnāt overpowering. I also want to add we noticed that the dish was cheesier here than in UP Town so I hope they catch up in that branch (and not the other way around.)
Risotto Tartufo - Doubling down on the truffle this time. It was cooked well. Not sloppy at all, which is a risk whenever ordering a risotto. the flavors came through but I think the portion could have been bigger.
Overall I couldnāt complain and I got to use Zomato Gold which is awesome and made the price much more friendly when dining for two! The servers were really friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Best pasta here would make you call in love with the place been here twice thought first time they refused to offer some meals to Zomato Gold but itās great loving it
Great pasta, always aldente. The pizza with mango is the BOMB. Very good zomato gold deal. Recommended both resto and zomato. Will surely return.
The best pasta, risotto and pizza in the Metro! It may be a bit pricey but is surely worth it. Will definitely go back for more using Zomato Gold!

MAMA LOU'S ITALIAN KITCHEN
2nd Floor Ayala Malls the 30th
One of my boyfriend's casual family dinner. Decided to go to this mall because it is not too big and not that crowded.
Mama Lou's is one of the highest rated restaurant in this mall that's why we chose the place. Indeed it was full packed with customers and we needed to wait for around 10 minutes to have ourselves seated.
We ordered the following:
SQUID RINGS 4/5
Surprisingly the squid is tender haha and Vinegar sauce was good too.
CLAM CHOWDER 4.5/5
The soup was thick and the taste of the clams are amazing even if there was no clam shells in it. Could have been a bigger serving size.
LUCIO TRUFFLE CREAM PASTA 3.5/5
Truffle flavor was all good a little too creamy though but it would be better if there were more mushrooms in it.
CHICKEN PARMIGIANA 4/5
Chicken was tender and juicy, and everything on the plate was good.
SALPICAO 4/5
The beef was so tender undeniably and saltiness is just right. Together with the aglio olio pasta and side veggies the fusion of the flavors were balanced.
PAN FRIED BEEF SCALLOPINE 2.5/5
Name seems to be unusual but nothing special about the plate. It somehow looks like an ordinary burger steak.
MAMA LOU'S SPECIAL PIZZA 4/5
I like the fact that ripe mangoes have been included in this pizza.
COMPLIMENTARY DESSERT 4/5
I am not sure what the dessert was, but its a layered cake. What I like about this dessert is that it is not too sweet.
Ambiance was good.
A little crowded I think, maybe because there were a lot of customers.
Service was good, BUT the one who took our orders is not that attentive. They have forgotten about the pan fried beef scallopine and since it was late I was not able to take a picture of it, and when it came out it, the owner needed to eat it fast because we are all done with our plates. Waited for 10+ minutes more for this dish and the owner was disappointed of what she had.
But I must say that I would come back for more.
Great food and service. My wife loves mac and cheese and Mama Lou's version did not disappoint. 1st time i orderd the mozzarella burger steak and it was a bit salty but could adding more mozzarella could have balanced the taste.

Recommended:
- Vesuvio (P495) : the rigatoni are well cooked and the pesto gave this pasta dish a light and fresh note. Best to eat this while it's still hot!
- Salmon (P595) the salmon on its own lacks flavor a bit but the flavors are well balanced when you eat it with a sauce. Size of the slice of salmon is good.
I love the homey ambiance of this place specially with the Christmas decors.
The service was not as nice as the ambiance. Medyo mabagal. Onti ang staff kaya our simple needs were not quite attended to well. But the food ang sa sarap! I would still rate it 4 because service could still be improved and staff are polite naman.
Mamalouās being an Italian staple for me and my family. I was ecstatic to find out that it was part of the Zomato Gold partners. We dined here a few weeks ago and the experience was pretty good. The staff were very accomodating and quick on their feet. They were even nice enough to let my father try their signature iced tea due to him deciding to get it or not. They also answered a lot of questions we had with regards to the 1 + 1 Food promo.
We ordered the Marbled Steak and Osso Buco to test out the 1 + 1 Food promo. The Marbled Steak was yummy and melt in your mouth. Not the highest of quality but good enough for its price point. The Osso Buco was fine at best, the taste was fine but the serving size was huge as they give you a mountain of beef topped with tomatoe sauce.
Overall our experience with Mamalouās time and time again is always desireable and I would recommend others to give it a shot as well.
Everything is perfect!!! Food, ambiance, staff and price. No bad experience. A great pizza and pasta place for couples, family and even group of friends. Two thumbs up!

Back here and we unlocked 2 Zomato Golds.
Kudos to the female staff, Pau, who assisted us which made the visit pleasant. First, she made a suggestion to order 2 flavors for one pizza so we could try more and less āumay.ā Something that I donāt know why I never knew about or thought of before. Second, she was very observant and as soon as she noticed we were enjoying rolling up the pizzas like a panizza with arugula and alfalfa but were running out of both, without having to ask her, she brough the refill to our table. Third, when she observed that I was having a hard time pouring honey from the bottle, which seemed a bit clogged, she immediately (again without me having to ask), brought a saucer of spicy honey with a small spoon to make it easier for us to drizzle on the pizza. Now that is good service!
As for the food: highly recommend their pizzas, loved them since before. We got half quattro formaggi and half spinach and goat cheese and it was good! Eat as is or drizzle some chili oil or spicy honey (just request for this) and roll it with some arugula and alfalfa (provided).
Our mains were so-so. The chicken parmagiana was okay but the tomato sauce and its sourness was too overwhelming, thatās all you could taste. The Pork chop was tasty but a bit tough, I did not enjoy it and had lots of leftover. Good thing we only paid for 1 main because of the Zomato Gold 1+1 on Food promo. We also ordered the Gambas, it was okay, can be too salty but went very well with the aglio olio pasta (that came with my pork chops) and the complimentary plain bread.
As for the bill: the male staff that computed for my bill charged me for the 2 highest priced items of the 4 dishes which is wrong. Itās good to always check your bill and make sure to call their attention when they apply the wrong discount under the Zomato Gold promo. Maybe all staff should be given a refresher on the Zomato Gold mechanics.
Will we be back? Yes!

Iāve eaten her before but itāll be my first time to post a review so I will incorporate both. For my recent visit yesterday though I used my Zomato Gold so I only paid for 1 main entree and the second one was free!

On to my review, this branch is spacious and homey. Perfect for any occasion from solo meals to dates and especially family gatherings. The portions are big, we have 2 entrees: Pork Chops (2pcs) and Chicken Fra Diavalo (2 large pcs). We didnāt have pizza or pasta this visit. Both dishes we got were satisfactory. If you like spicy you will love the Chicken Fra Diavalo. If you canāt handle spicy, donāt order this. Both came with gravy and choice of garlic rice, aglio olio or mashed potato. We got garlic rice because is rice is life! LOL.
And since we used my Zomato Gold 1+1 Food Deal, we only paid for the Chicken Fra Diavalo. It was a very smooth transaction and staff was well aware of the app.
I forgot to mention that upon seating, we were immediately served bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping (ala Italiannis) which is a nice touch. Because any complimentary dish to munch on while your food is being prepared always helps to forget the waiting time especially if youāre hungry.
We were surprised to receive complimentary tiramisu because we didnāt make a fuss about the undercooked chicken although we had to send it back for them to cook it more. The tiramisu was okay: cream was yummy but cake was a bit dry. The plate it was served in (see photo) was pretty though, hehe.
In my previous visit with friends we got pizza and pasta and we enjoyed it. So definitely going back here and using Zomato Gold again to order pizza and pasta (according to our server, these dishes are included so I hope sheās right because they are for sharing and will be such a good deal to get 1 for free so I am excited). Excluded in Zomato Gold are the platters and Dry Aged Rib Eye (according again to our server). Oh and we also got the Mushroom Chicharon for appetizer, a must try!
Loved the food and ambiance of the restaurant. Having eaten here before, I decided to try something new. I got the Mama Lou's pizza and spinach cheese pizza. Both went well with the alfalfa sprouts and chili they provided. The pastas were also quite good. Looking forward to my next visit.
Delicious food and very very fast serivce! Their carbonara was creamier than expected, but still good. Vongole was flavorful while their mama lous special pizza was a great combo! Can't wait to come back :)
We ordered Mama Lou's Special Pizza and Truffle Mac & Cheese š Pizza was superb! It was topped with sweet mangoes. Who knew mangoes on pizza go so well togethaaa?!? š Truffle Mac & Cheese was okay. You can taste a hint of truffle but it would be better if there's more flavor in this dish. But overall, we loved our dining experience šš
Authentic Italian food with a very reasonable price range. Loved their al dente pasta and quick service. The ambiance is cozy. Great for dates and meals with family & friends!
This is one of my go-to-Italian food restaurants! Besides their unli bread, what I really love about them is that their staff are really friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is also really nice and brings a sense of nostalgia.
My favorite dish is their Risotto Tartufo Funghi :)
For pizza, you must try their Quattro Formaggi.
