We were looking for a place that accepts Credit Card since we’re too lazy to look for an ATM.

Someone helped us and led us to try Robbie’s.

Food was great, we loved everything we had that day (Grilled Liempo, Calamares, Baked Tahong, Buttered Chili Shrimp and Ensaladang Talong). We also had Sinigang sa Miso Tuna Belly but I was not able to take a photo of it since it came last and we were already busy with our food.

Our server was still young but very courteous. Service was good.

A friend recommended this resto because they charged cheaper than others. Affordable without compromising the taste according to him.

My friends and I did all the marketing. That was the most fun part of out foodventure. We were however dismayed that Robbies recommended us to a stall that sell at a higher price compared from the others. We were at luck we discovered the price discrepancy and bought only a kilo of shrimps and squid from that stall. You see, they sell shrimps for 450 a kilo while others at 350. Imagine our dismay. We bought crabs (bakla) for 350 per kilo, scallops for 300 per kilo (I guess) and fish from other stalls though and even made tawad.

From our buy, we had kilawin, buttered shrimps, baked shrimps, grilled squid, calamari, baked scallops, buttered scallops and my ultimate fave spicy crabs. All were seafood-delish (of course)! I couldn't say anything against the resto's cook skills. The food were incredibly yummy. When did I ever complain when we're talking seafoods here. I never did as far my mind recalls. And I never will.

We paid 250 Php more or less for every kilo of raw seafood for the cooking. There were 8 of us and we spent 4000 Php more or less for a festive dinner. We were stomach-full and even brought home lots of leftover.

Word of advise: Robbies charge for cheap cooking but do your own marketing. And the more family or friends you're with, the merrier and cheaper.

Robbie's seafood restaurant has been a family favorite whenever we like indulging in seafood. My personal favorite is their tempura. I like how tasty it is even without the sauce. Their servers are very nice and very patient in attending to every customer's need. Been suggesting this to friends and they too are satisfied! We've been eating here since 2008 and will keep on coming back!
