Our office go-to Korean resto plus the free coffee is sooooo good. Good service and friendly staff. :)
I totally forgot to take pictures of the meat due to the great smell of the meat. First off, this place is not the usual unli-kbbq place. This place serves dry aged meat and is one of my favorites. They have a wide assortment of banchan (side dishes) which are all really tasty. There is something different with the dry aged meats compared to other places as it gives out more flavor. Really enjoyed, looking forward to going back here.
It was our second time to dine at this branch, and both experience was great, especially, in terms of service.
It was like a one waiter per table policy, and he really was attentive to our needs & requests. The side dishes were refilled without being asked. The only thing was that we were robbed with the opportunity to cook our meat, in a positive way. 😁 Yes, the servers only leave after cooking all your meats. 😁 But maybe, if you're after the experience you could asked them to just leave the cooking up to you. As for our group, we just enjoyed it. After all, we're already part of the Titos & Titas of Manila 😁
As per our order, we opted for Set B (1600) with five (5) kinds of pork. For a group with big appetite, it was more than enough. We did not actually finished all the meat. Either, the meat were plenty or we have indulged in their side dishes.
We all love their side dishes. I never found any liking for Kimchis except for this one. Sweet & spicy dilis was good but lacks the crisp. Other side dishes were also good aside from the Macaroni Salad which was bland. It's just sad for me that there was no fish cake, and that the cheese & steamed eggs was not refillable.
Overall, aside from the commendable service food was great too!
Will definitely be back.
Everything is wonderful, before the beef serve.
We order 4 or 5 kind of the pork. It's so delicious.
everything is so good the night, until the beef served.
i cannot understand How did they mess up the beef?
Especially the piece of beef is worth 1200 pesos.
Honestly, i will go to there again for the pork.
but i will never try to order the beef again.
Songdowon is a premium Korean grill located in Macapagal Blvd along the mini Korean town there. I’ve been passing on that street for numerous times already whenever I go to MOA but never had the chance to try it as it’s always just a place where literally people pass by, until this day that I’m finally lucky to try it.
Very tasty and not too expensive when you order set menu.
Set A and B is all time fav
It’s good to 2-3 Male
Try the cold noodle while having samgyup or marinated pork.
SUPER LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been here several times and their food is always great. It's not the typical unli korean bbq thing that all the hype. The meat is per order but the side dishes are unli. Their meat is so so good and they have amazing japchae! Love their sides and great service and price too!
Waiting time: much less than any korean bbq establishments
Ambiance: Fair, at times the crowd would tend to be too noisy, save for the enclosed room as it gets cozy and exclusive
Service: Very accomodating and well-mannered
Restroom: Fair, but it greatly depends on the customers
Accessibility: Commute thru tuktuk or multicab
Food: Sides are unlimited. Meat is not. Taste is above average to superb.
Overall: A great alternative for the overcrowded korean bbq restaurants.
Love this place!
I like the fact that they are open 24 hours. It is your typical Korean BBQ place but the staff is what really made this place great for me. Definitely recommend going here!
I base my first impression of a KBBQ restaurant with the taste of their kimchi. Well, based on their kimchi, I’m right It was really a great experience dining here. Food taste really good and authentic.
We ordered the Songdowon set. Super filling!
Service wise, it was impressive. The servers cook the meat for you, they change grills after cooking a type of meat. Very accommodating and friendly staff
A little attention to detail is needed tho.
When we got assisted to our table, Our server wiped the table and placed our utensils and cups on the table without even washing his hands👎🏼 he even has long thumb nails and held our cups by the rim. He wasn’t even knowledgeable if the set includes steamed eggs
After correcting these, overall premium experience will be achieved 😊
This is the best place where you can bring your buddies on a food trip. First time I tried and it felt like a flashback from my Korea trip last 2018. Their meat is of quality and tastes good and with plenty of side dishes to choose from. Definitely the place to go with friends.
No frills korean barbecue place.
Even though it is not an "unli" korean bbq place, their quality meats selection is good.
The side dishes were good and had variety.
Will definitely come back.

Good service. Hindi mo mararamdaman ung pagod ng mga crew kahit pabalikbalik sila (if naubos lettuce, etc) andun parin ang ngiti nila. Mababait ang mga crew pati security guard. ❤️❤️
Things to like about Song Do Won in HK Sun Plaza.....
1. Clean (compared to the other Korean resto in the vicinity)
2. The enclosed room on the side. I like it being more private
3. it's open 24/7. Sometimes I need my Korean fix late night with most restos already closing by 10PM.
4. Their Smoked Pork Belly. You don't get to see this in other Korean grills. Must-try!
5. Banchan is unlimited
6. They have free cold tea and an iced coffee for dessert.
7. Good variety of lettuce.
Pointers....
1. Order 1 dish per person.
2. If you ordered the pork belly, then get beef or chicken for your other dishes.
3. eat your veggies. What make Koreans healthy is that they eat a lot of vegetables. Wrap your grilled meats. Have your meals with or without rice.
4. Try all of the banchan. My favorites are the kimchi, fish cakes and spinach.
Love the food! Great sidedish-es and of quality taste! 👍🤩 Most guests are Koreans; thus, seem to be really authentic in taste. A very satisfying meal to warm my stomach. Lot of grillings to choose from.
Love that this place is open for 24 hours so I'd have a go to place if I'd crave for grilled beef. The food has been great and I was really impressed with the service. Staffs are really friendly and attentive. They're even willing to do the honor of grilling your beef right while you dig in. Loved their free coffee. Think I'll try their hotpot on my next visit.
One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the country. You will always see me here eating samgyupsal almost every week. Customer service is also superb...they have people grilling the meat for you so you can focus and chill with your friends while eating. They also serve complimentary soup (doenjang or kimchichigae) and iced coffee which I believe a korean brand! My family spent the Christmas Eve in this restaurant.
Been going to this restaurant a lot of times. There was even a time when it would be a weekly thing and sometimes even 2-3 times a week. They have unlimited side dishes that are passable. I never really liked kimchi before but i have since changed my mind. We usually order the galmegisal and i must say this korean resto is a good value for money. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who likes and would like to eat korean food.
Food here may come out as expensive compared to other Korean restos serving unli samgyeopsal but still reasonable esp when they serve quality aged meat. What sets Song Do Won apart is the impeccable service. Waiters are very friendly and they make sure you enjoy the food as well as the experience.
Song Do Won is already known for its Samgyupsal, major factor why people love it here? Its because of the staffs. They’ll give you the best experience yet. From offering their menu, to helping you with your food, name it all they give it best.
Food: Choice of meat is different from other samgyupsal restaurant. Song Do Won has its thick cut, also got some flavour. Which many of samgyupsal restau lacked..they lacked the flavor. (They just serve plain meat.) Mind you, they serve unlimited side dishes! So,be it..eat it all because all of it tastes good.
***Try their cold noodles. (For a big change) you should! Its not as weird as it sounds. Swear on that!
*** Give tips to the food attendant, they deserve it. :)
Place: Good location and easy to find. Inside the store is a little hot..and crowded.
Total 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The best Korean BBQ we have ever tried!
- Great choices of meats.
- Variety of quality side dishes.
- They have a great service since there’s an assigned server per table and they are the one will cook for you.
- They are 24hrs!
Must try dishes:
1. Chap Chae
2. Kalbitang
Tip: they serve free hot/iced coffee!

24 hour korean resto that offers authentic korean food!
AMBIENCE- you can grill your ordered food but rest assured that you will not smell because they have exhaust tube per grilll
FOOD- they have free soup, you can choose from doenjang or kimchi which is refillable twice, as well as "banchan" (side dish) to choose from which are by the way UNLIMITED (fish cake, kimchi, pickled radish, bean sprout, anchovies).
Aside from that they also have varieties when it comes to their lettuce and they serve iced coffee upon asking for the bill.
must tries are herb samgyupsal, dweji galbi and sogogi guk bap
PRICE- definitely worth it considering the serving size and taste
Zomato please update your menu list. They got moooore items to choose from.
A very well stormy midnight dinner. For two just order two bbq meat dishes and you are all good as their unlimited banchan selections alone can already put you in a food coma!
i have been to other Korean restos and this is the best by far. Their meat are tender and tasty, the servers and staffs are nice and friendly. It is worth your time and money even if you live far from the restaurant. Do try it!
Song Do Won is as authentic as eating in Korea. The servings were huge. The side dishes were served generously. The meat is so tasty unlike other korean restos in the metro.
I highly recommend this place and we will surely come back for more kalbis.
One of my friend invited us over dinner here. He's been raving about this place frequently. He said that the food is good so is the service. Ordering is ala carte and not unlimited although they have a variety of side dishes that you can ask for refill unlimited times. Side dishes that we were able to try that night were kimchi, dilis, eggplant (torta style), steam egg, miso soup, and fish cakes. Their side dishes are good. Quality isn't compromised and best thing is you can ask for refill over and over again. You'd be full from this alone haha. For our mains, we ordered set A which comes with tjree different meat. Additional order of two beef cuts one of which is like a steak, this was my favorite amongst all the meats we had that night. There is also an assigned staff for every table to cook the meat for you so don't have to worry cooking. Their service is also commendable, all smiles and seemed very happy to serve us. Refills side dishes and water attentively. Overall, it was a good dining experience.
So much love for the spicy squid!!! It was the best!! Excellent customer service as well. Will definitely go back here for their authentic dishes.
Samgyup grill- not bad but not the best as well.
Price- relatively cheap if you eat as a group.
This place is definitely a hidden gem. This is Korean resto where I was served the most and tasty side dishes. It includes free soup, scrambled egg, and ice coffee for dessert.
Their meat is also very tasty. Try to go at offpeak hours since service can get very busy.
Yummy food and excellent service! The server was very attentive to our needs. He even asked us if we wanted more lettuce or sauce when he saw we were running out of it. Loved the free iced coffee after the meal too!
Favorite hangout spot. Am here at least twice a month.
This place is owned and run by Koreans.
They make their own kimchi (a wide variety of it).
Excellent Food Variety.
The main thing I go for are the Samgyeopsal dishes. There is a minimum of two orders for this si be sure to have some company.
Recommended:
- pork belly / herbed pork belly
- beef belly
- korean beef stew
- seafood pajeon
- grilled mackarel
- bibimbap / octopus bibimbop
*refillable free appetizers is a plus
5 stars vote. Not an expensive place.
Good service by the staff.
I’ll continue to add more here, plus the photos of the menu.
After giving it a try last night... It is now my favorite korean bbq restaurant! The place is well designed. Food is simply amazing. The staff are very attentive. Price is very reasonable. Everything you want in a restaurant. Will definitely come back to this place again and again and again and again!!!
Well done Song Do Won! Keep up the great work!
The food was really delicious. 😍 I love the side dishes like potatoes, vegetables, fish cakes and or/ kimchis and more. :))) The first time I went to eat here, one of the side dishes is the pickled radish and I kept on refilling them. The ambience is just fine and the service's not bad. I love the steamed egg because it's really yummy and fluffy. I also love how you can refill the side dishes repeatedly and it enhances your appetite to eat more. It was fun to cook your own meat and add all vegetables and sauce in it. The lettuce leaves are so big when you make a meat wrap, you can't put it all in your mouth. That made me full at the moment so it's better to take it easy when consuming them. It was good, it's more fun to eat when with friends or family and trying a new food experience. 🤗🤗🤗
We eat here once oor twice a month. The servers are really nice! Best meat in the city. I tend to bring my friends from outside the city whenever they come for a visit. Photo below is from their Set B.
Never knew it's existence til 2months ago as we only go to the korean store beside it and it's now my favorite korean restau since the 1st try.
It's open 24hours, but make sure to come early especially on peak hours coz there's a long wait. Once inside, it feels so lively and welcoming. Yet it's best to be seated in the private area coz it gets too crowded and you'll be seated right beside a stranger as in too close -like sharing a table and hearing conversations.
The menu in zomato is not updated. Their price range is the same w/ other korean restaurant but they serve unli side dishes (usually 5 or more sides, their kimchi is super good!), free soup (a choice of kimchi or doenjang jjigae), and free iced Maxim coffee at the end of your meal. You can also ask for their sugared peanuts. Just ask your server.
There will be 1 server assigned per table and your server will cook and serve everything for you. Only down side is the restroom.
Recommended: Gochujang pork(spicy) (350php), Japchae (400php), Marinated garlic pork (300+php), and marinated beef galbi (500+php)
It's a must try place esp to those korean food lovers.
If you're looking for food that's worth your money, this is it. It's VERY AFFORDABLE. Everything is fresh, from the meat to the veggies. I just LOVE their Galbi Jim! The place is simple but it's full of people from all walks of life, the guy in jerseys and rubbershoes sitting literally beside a woman with her LV clutch. That's how universal the appeal of this place is.
The service is very very good. Despite the obvious busy atmosphere, the servers are fast and attentive.
Everyone just loved Korean BBQ. For this restaurant, I loved the side dishes and its unlimited. However their meat is not unlimited, you have to order it by batch.
Dining experience is good even though you can feel the hotness of the grill.
An enjoyable experience! I just let my companions order the food so I really don’t know what meat we had haha. But both were delicious! The variety of side dishes are as abundant as other more expensive Korean grill restos. I also love the unlimited cold tea and the free coffee after your meal. I’m not sure if it’s unlimited too. Our bill was 900+ for 3 pax. Not bad! Great place!
The food and service is really great for a reasonable price! Would come back really soon! Loved how they advise you what to order if you are a newbie.
More than enough for 2 persons due to unlimited sidedishes
Food 4/5
Price 3/5
Ambiance 4/5
Service 5/5
Will definitely comeback and recommend this place
Excellent service, attentive staffs, very cozy and the food is great! We’re pax of 3, the other 2 were male. Imagine a man’s appettite and we only ordered beef belly and marinated pork (idk how it was called 😅) but we went home super full! I love the free iced coffee btw!
My favorite korean resto!! ❤ legit meat! not the paper thin unli meat of other korean restaurants. Plus a lot of good appetizers also and great service from the servers! :)
Probably the best value for money Korean BBQ I’ve had. Thanks to my workmates for bringing me here, I realized I can eat Php200-300 worth of Korean BBQ with refillable banchan and tea. Loved the fish cakes and kimchi. We ordered two pork belly (Php300/each) which was already good for 2-3 pax (but of course they request that you order one each). The banchan is plenty and refillable for free. Service is relatively good, they can cook for you upon request. Will definitely come back to splurge on the pancakes.
The best Korean Resto that is open 24 hours. Attentive and Friendly staff. best bulgogi i ever tasted. Value for the money and we keep coming back for more.
Food is great!! Customer service is outstanding! They are very friendly and they always refill the sides. They even have free soup and free iced coffee. We ordered samgyupsal meat Pork and beef. We super love the fish cakes and anchovies!!.
This is by far the best Korean resto in Manila. I’ve tried a lot in Manila including Mak Chang but I swear I love this place more. We didn't get unlimited meat but they serve unlimited ban chan (side dishes) and they have a wide variety of ban chan! Good food and good service!
Pork samgyeopsal, pork bbq ribs, herb pork belly, beef short ribs were all so good! Thick and flavorful even on its own. Serving size should be enough for 2-3pax.
Extensive variety on banchan too.
Can't stop blabbering about their soft tofu stew. Nudges you with just right amount of spice.
Haven't tasted any better japchae. Clearly, the glass noodles was the star of the show. Wasn't dry nor overcooked. Serving size's around 3-4pax.
In case you're not offered, don't forget to ask for their free hot/iced coffee!
I wonder why no one has ever talked about this place. Neat and organized, large seating capacity, open 24/7, reasonable pricing, abundance on dish selection, quality meat. Been here twice, both has been a great dining experience.
The food is great. Not that pricey compared to other korean bbq restaurant. We spend almost 3k for a group of 8. Plus! The service is also good, staffs are always smiling and ready to serve you. Totally worth it. A great experience. Good job! 👍⭐
Service is great. Food quantity and quality is superb! This is our first choice for Korean barbecue restaurant. We will definitely come back
Super Good Food and Great Ambience. Superb service. Best Banchans I had in Korean Restaurants in Manila. For people in the south especially for preggy or just anybody who gets hungry or cravings in the middle of the night. Just drive to HK Sun Plaza and look for this resto and the great thing about this place is the they are open 24 hours.
Also one of my favorite Korean restaurants, always come here with my friends and family. The only problem is the seafood is quite pricey 😔 Hence, will probably come back ☺️
An underrated place!
Serving quality and authentic Korean dishes, Song Do Won is a must try! We (my family) just got to try this place out when we were looking for a late night dinner place coming from the south.
With good quantity, definitely you'll get your money's worth!
Oh, I think they have the best Japchae! Beef and pork were really good! Sides are of course unlimited. You'll get to spend around P300-P500 per dish.
Note: Open 24/7
Korean food is as diverse as their culture
Song do won never gets old with its big servings, exquisite flavors, and welcoming atmosphere. I always preferred the non smoking area. They have a wide array of house specialties. Highly recommended.
Everything here was good. The service, food, ambience. Not to mention it wasnt that expensive. Its nice to know its 24 hours. The ssamjang lacked gochujang though. Keep it up! Will sure come back here.
Thanks to my good friend who introduced us to this KBBQ house. Went here for two consecutive weeks already. Songdo Won meat quality was way different from the past KBBQ restaurants (both buffet & ala carte) I've visited. Meat was fresh yet aged well which gives out so much flavor and savoriness. We ordered several servings of samgyupsal (pork belly), woo samgyup (beef belly) & moksal (pork neck), preferred it fresh than marinated. Plus, you should not miss their crispy and chewy hameul pajeon (seafood pancake). Also, they serve the BEST unlimited banchan. This is my number one KBBQ house on my list right now. Kudos to the ates and kuyas who served and helped us too, service is 5/5.
Highly Recommended! 🇰🇷 🇵🇭
Open 24/7. Good place to go when your craving authentic korean bbq. Love their herbed beef and tempura. Many side dishes to choose from. Makchang and samgyupsal is recommended.
My cousin recommend us here, and its really nice. The service is excellent 💯💯 the food is affordable and definitely worth it! Will come again~
There's also a Korean convenience store beside the restaurant
Excellent service. Open 24 hours. Kimchi actually is crunchy. Unlimited appetizers. Spicy dishes are actually spicy.
And surprisingly good value for money.
My favorite dish here is the grilled mackerel. Seafood green onion pancake also rocks. Stone pot bibimbap is great. Wifey loves the pancakes.
Delicious Korean feast you can have for special occasions. Their meats are so good! Best Korean beef I've tasted so far even though it's a bit expensive hehe
We're here like almost every week!!!! Love their samgyeopsal and their sides are the beeeest! Customer service is 👍👍, most especially to our favorite kuya Exel!
They also give free iced coffee, I think it's maxims coffee.
A-must try for korean food lovers.
Comfortable ambience. Well ventilated. Cool atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Korean food craving fully satisfied with great tasting cold coffee to cap the Korean dining experience. Definitely coming back.
Whenever we crave for korean food we always go here. The interior looks like a typical korean resto in Seoul. We love this resto cause they give a lot of banchans (side dishes) with free refills and maxims mocha gold coffee.
Our fave is the samgyupsal which comes with unlimited "greens" , the spicy pork bone soup (kamjatang) which they also give free refills of the soup. One time, they even gave us 2 orders of steamed eggs free of charge because we were a big group. The waiters were attentive and they even grill the samgyupsal. I also tried their budie chigae (army stew) and I think it was on the pricier side. The ingredients were not that many as compared to the budie chigae in korea. The haemul pajeon also taste good as well as the kalbijim.
Will definitely come back again as I want to try the other korean dishes like dakkalbi, the kkalchijorim and kalbitang.
My husband took me here on a Sunday evening to cap the weekend off. He said this place was their go-to when pigging out (with his team.) I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised that I got out with a full tummy and a happy heart although I wasn't in the mood for Korean food. The service was great, the sticky rice was awesome, and good job on the iced coffee! 👌
This is my usual late night snack place with my brother. Like typical korean places they serve around 6-8 appetizers. Korean BBQ is the way to go. Pork belly and beef belly are the standard options, herb pork is marinated with rosemary while the spicy one uses yang nyum sauce. Good place to have bbq with soju waiters are really attentive and they would even cook for you upon request. :)
First time to dine at Song Do Won, and I must admit, I left with a very full and happy tummy.
We were seated inside the non smoking area, and instead of going for a samgyupsal dinner, we had servings of bibimbap, soup, galbijim, and more! They first served us with their complimentary dishes, and amongst all, my favorites would be the sweet kamote and seaweed-ish veggy. Also they served a stone pot steamed egg, which was also complimentary but didnt taste like anything. Lacked salt.
Our bibimbaps were quite different, probably because we went for pork instead of beef, and it was my first time to eat bibimbap with hard boiled egg instead of pan fried egg. It was still good though and I loved how mildly spicy it was. The complimentary soup was also great. I really shy away from spicy food as it makes me cry, but when it comes to Korean food, it's always the right amount of spicy that leaves you wanting more! The rice cake (forgive me, I am not familiar with spicy dishes' names) was equally good and gooey!! I want more. The chicken bulgogi was also good but reminded me of how chicken adobo is usually cooked. The spicy soup with toge I didnt dare touch!!
My favorite would be the galbijim! So tender and perfectly seasoned. I love korean beef stew!
Overall, service was okay, but there was a time that the waiter seemed distracted, haha. But I enjoyed the meal and find myself still thinking of the food I just had. How can something spicy be so yummy????
Would I come back??? Probably for the galbijim, rice cake, and the complimentary dishes.
