I love that Gen Korean BBQ evolved the dining experience by introducing seafood to the menu. Every Korean restaurants now offers the usual beef, chicken, and pork. The addition of seafood is a much welcomed change. Aside from the food, which by the way are bang for the buck, the ambience of the place is noteworthy because of its neon lights unlike the usual homey and sometimes cramped Korean barbecue places in tge metro.

GEN Korean BBQ House added more seafood items to it’s menu. Located at SM MOA - SM By The Bay - Unit 1-16, Seaside Blvd, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay. Just across Conrad Hotel. You can also book them for events as their place is huge! It has a 200 seating capacity.

A little bit of history — Gen Korean BBQ House, one of the most successful restaurant concepts from Los Angeles, California, with over 20 branches all around the world. They menu options consists of freshly prepared 100% imported U.S. premium meats, seafood, and vegetables, refreshing and traditional Korean ban-chan (side-dishes).

In 2017, Gen Korean BBQ House brought the ultimate premium KBBQ experience here in Manila with its over 30 menu options.

For 1348, you get 31 options and now they added 12 seafood items. Super sulit because their meats are really premium. They also have a P798 per person option and a P998.

What I like about this place is di ka amoy usok after. It’s very family oriented and they have a performing band playing your favorite songs. It’s quite busy but service was good

It was a rainy afternoon when we headed to GEN Korean BBQ House to have our team dinner. Upon arrival, the security guard immediately approached us and handed over 2 big umbrellas to keep us dry. All crew are very welcoming when we entered the dining area.

Things that we love with GEN:

🖤Excellent customer service from the guard, the crew and the manager
🖤High Quality Meat
🖤Good Exhaust
🖤Clean Comfort Room
🖤Romantic Ambiance

Things we didn't like:

🖤Insufficient and unapppetizing side dishes
🖤Limited to one grill per table for 6 persons (This makes us more hungry especially it's not an unlimited Korean BBQ experience)

If they could improve the side dishes and add at least 1 grill for tables that are good for 6, I might give GEN a perfect 5.

Overall, I will still recommend this resto to my friends because of the quality and nicely cut meat that we had here plus the exceptional customer service.

I've read a lot of bad reviews for this restaurant coz of their bad service so I was skeptical on coming here. But hey, kudos to our server (I think his name was Kim, I'm not sure though kinda forgot about it). He was very attentive to us as well as the other staff. Place was spacious and has good ventilation and exhaust. They served one set of banchan unlike other Korean restos that served one set of banchan per person but it's fine. I love the salad! We tried their Premium Steak, Hawaiian Steak, Spicy Samgyupsal and Pork Cheeks. We trully enjoyed our dinner. It was a bit pricey though it was worth it. And I love the music too.

If we're going to talk about the food, it's not as exceptional as some of the authentic korean restaurant in the metro but it is beyonc average if not excellent. What makes this outlet standout is its spacious seating and their live band. Servics was good and the serving portion is excellent. It's a bit pricey compared to other restaurant but its definitely worth it.

Fast Service and Great place to have fun with friends. May open mic na din na pwede kayo magkaraoke. Very polite servers. Good food. Enjoy sya. Masarap ung cocktails nila, try nyo ung mean girl. Magaling ung mga kumakanta duon. Good place to hang out with friends :)

My friend and I was looking for some unli-Korean BBQ and was advised to check here. We arrived before 6pm so the restaurant was not crowded yet. We were advised that we have 2 hours of consumable meat.

The food was great and the service too! I love how attentive the staff to our needs!

At more than a thousand pesos per head, this is definitely one of the most expensive KBBQ places I've been to. And while their meats are flavorful and tasty, they just don't seem to justify the price.

This is one of those places where you eat probably once a year or when there's a special occasion. Even then, I think there are other places where you can get more bang for your buck.

I suggest ordering the steak and the cajun shrimp because these were the most flavorful in their offerings. They skimp on the beef servings but go overboard on the pork slices so be careful when you order pork as you'll get full easily.

The service is top notch and fast as well. I have no complaints aside from the high price.

It is our first time to eat at a Samgyupsal Restaurant. My hubby and I decided to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary there. I give 5 stars because the place is so comfy. We ordered the 798 unli. The meats are tender. Although, too spicy for Spicy Pork Bulgogi unlike the Spicy Chicken. Just disappointed with Beef Meat. It looks like Pork Bacon Meat. Service is great too. They will help us cut the meats so that we can eat. they will also change the grill pan from time to time. We didn't finish our food though. But no extra charge for us. hehe. I will recommend this to my friends.
