Just want to share my experience I’ve been hearing hukad w/my friends several times and it so happens that i got a chance to pass by in one of their branch at moa , so I decided having lunch w/ my hubby

That I would love to try. My favourite is kare kare so i ordered for it after few minutes the food is ready wow that was fast but .. there is one lacking my fav kare2
Suddenly i was about to ask for my order then someone approach us this tall guy i think their manager and calmly ask us if we need anything.
What can i say its all worth the wait delicious tender and plenty of meat kare kare love it kudos hukad its a very nice experience and very attentive staff 👍🏻

We ordered pata,chicken and sinigang. Lahat masasarap ung pata malutong parin pag uwi ko. And sa rice medyo sticky lang siya. Sa service naman, our server is very accommodating and attentive. She is very jolly when she speaks bisaya! Kuddos! We will surely come back hukad moa!
Friendly staff and RED egg chicharon sisig is the best for me. We're gonna visit again with my friends so they can try some cebuano recipes here in Manila so they did not have to go to cebu just to taste there best recipes only from moa Hukad can bring us to cebu the best guid sya...
We hungout here at this branch a month ago. Kinda liked the fact that it's near the bridge to MOA By The Bay, our little nephews and nieces always want to go there. While us, the oldies would hangout and eat/drink here. Best to stay here in the afternoon, 4pm onwards, not too much sun with a little bit of wind. No airconditioning needed.
Great restaurant that served local food for a reasonable price, suitable for family and friends gathering. The lechon belly de cebu was excellent.

The Lechon Belly - for two people the 1/4 kilo (Php355) is just enough. The pricing is a little off that it would be wiser (I think) that you order a whole kilo (Php975) than just half kilo at Php710. Anyway, make sure they put a good amount of crispy skin with every order.
A good vegetable dish is the Tinunuang Nangka (Php155) Langka or Jack Fruit cooked in coconut cream.
Get the unlimited Garlic Rice for Php75.
This branch seems to be understaffed and with tables both indoors and outside, it's hard for the staff to wait on the tables efficiently. So be very patient.
Staffs are polite. We had a chance to talk with their Manager too. Very kind service. And the food are amazing. We tried their best sellers. Baked Bantayan Scallops, Pomelo Salad, Lechon Belly de Cebu, Crispy Pata and Halo halo!
Went here with some friends one time and we ordered their lechon belly and sisig. The lechon has a very distinct flavor that makes it stand out among all the lechons i've ever tried. Will definitely go back for that. The sisig tasted good as well.
Even if its location is a bit hard to find, I’m very happy that I was able to convince my friends to eat here for lunch. The food was just great, especially their lechon belly which is one of the reasons why I keep on coming back. Their staff was also very nice to us. Will definitely come back here soon!

For dessert, I walked a few steps going towards the crossover walkway from the Seaside strip to Hukad. Their offering for the buy 1, take 1 is their Halo-Halomazing at P145. It's fun planning your meal with the choices offered by booky's buy 1, get 1 promo. You could actually get snacks, lunch or dinner meals, desserts or beverages using their promo. It's like a treasure hunt, just pin the location where you are going and explore what each mall or destination has to offer. If and when I get my zomato gold, I plan to do the same. It makes dining a fun and filling experience.
Hukad's halo-halo makes use of milk infused ice commonly used in bingsus or kakigoris. Their filling includes the usual beans, kaong, nata and young coconut. Then, they added corn and cornflakes for added crunch and texture. By itself, their ube ice cream is sweet and rich but once mixed with the milky ice, it is mild and subtle. I like this better than my benchmark halo-halo from Chowking because CK's is sweeter, though packed with "sahog," priced right and has the Pinoy taste. If you divide the P145 by 2, it comes out to P72.50 or roughly about the same price as CK's yet tastes more refined and cleaner. So, "pwede talaga."
