I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!Food - everything we (me and my partner) ordered are tooo diiiieeeee foooorrrr!! It’s insanely good! Sangria (of course i had to say this first), Gambas, the paella, the calamari, baked clams, the onion soup, everything!Service - if you’ve been following my reviews, you’d know i’m BIG on service. I think whether or not you pay for something more expensive, you should be treated like a customer to begin with. This restaurant, I’m telling you, has THE BEST service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been to a couple of fine dining restaurants on some known food capitals in the world but this, for some reason, knocked everyone else down from the #1 spot. I loved their service so much, I left about Php 1,000 as tip, something I wouldn’t do, ever! From entrance, you can already feel the aura of each staff that approaches you. The absolute best!Price - it’s on the pricy side but first, most Spanish restaurants are. And second, super worth it! You can taste every single peso you pay for - if that makes sense.BOTTOMLINE, SERVICE IS KEY! i don’t know if it was just my mind playing tricks on me that I had possibly one of the best food I’ve ever consumed in my life here. regardless of the price and the taste, i dont care, i’d gladly visit this place again!
One of the cuisines I truly enjoy is Spanish. And on a recent conference, Mia and I got to have Alba. It wasn’t exactly traditional Spanish but they impressed us nevertheless.
The Roast Chicken was tender and well seasoned, the tomato-based pasta was tasty, its noodles al dente. Personally, I also found the Pork Belly delicious, it had layers of smoky flavor with a touch of sweetness.
Came in for dinner at past 8PM already however spread was till superb, didn’t look like leftovers. Quality was still good and the variety was still there. The Paella was a little dry for me. Only thing to improve on are the desserts but overall pleasant dining experience.
Food tastes good and waiters are attentive, although the serving size is small. Love the bread they serve and that they refill it. We love the gambas and paella, but the chocolate ganache cake is not so good,
Perfect buffet place for the family! The ambience was on-point, very classy feels. Their staff was friendly and very attentive. As for the food, there wasn't much of a wow factor but the meat were very soft and easy to eat. The cakes were delicious and the paellas were delightful. So if your craving for something new this spanish resto is the place to be.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this branch! I had my second reception here and the servers were great and the food was ah-mazing! A lot in quantity, variety and flavor! :) my husband and I went back with my parents 3 mos after (just last Sunday) and they still remembered us ^^ it has a very nice location and very accessible parking :)
I loved their paella cordero and I have to say it was very good. The rice was al dente and creamy. I'll try their buffet when I get back and I'll definitely be back

We know nothing of Spanish cuisine so we decided to try out Alba. Its actually a buffet that can also offer single order items. We ordered:
Vela de Lomo (Homemade cured pork loin): ⭐⭐⭐
Didn't get to finish this appetizer as it was too salty for us. The marinara sauce was good though.
Croquetas de Jamon : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I actually thought these would be larger but anyhow, these bite size croquettes are very good! I totally recommend it!
Paella Valenciana: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was said on the menu that this has a 30min cooking time but we only waited a few mins for it when the appetizers were served. The taste is good, there were shrimps, crab, squid and mussels. The presentation looks great and appetizing. The only thing is that some of the mussels were really small.
Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The place is a bit dark, I guess they are aiming for a much more intimate feel but it made it hard to read the menu. The band that was playing was A+! It made our night really special.
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Waiters were very attentive.
Will we go back? On a special night, yes ♥️

One word to describe Alba Restaurante Español: Delicioso!
Location: The one I went to was Alba’s branch at Prism Plaza. It’s near Mall of Asia (MoA) and is pretty accessible (walking distance is less than 15 minutes tops) from MoA to Two E-Com building. Plus points that Two E-Com building is architecturally aesthetic looking to begin with.
Dining Experience: The servers are all courteous and attentive. At Alba, you can opt to go for their buffet (which has delectable selections) or to just go for their ala carte menu (which is my personal favorite as I get to enjoy exactly the food that I’m craving for). Based on the foods that I have tasted so far, from their entrees to their desserts, I can say that their food are flavorful and tangy. What I like about their desserts is that they are just of the right kind of sweetness.
Ambiance: The restaurant has good ambient lighting that’s not too bright nor too dark—perfect for those date nights and/or family bonding dining moments. It gives off both a romantic and cozy vibe, that makes the place more welcoming and the food more appetizing to eat (aside from the fact that their food is good to begin with). It’s also a good venue for small groups (I saw that they also cater to corporate events).
Cleanliness: The place is hygienic enough. Plates, glasses, and utensils are clean; has neatly folded and good-smelling (newly washed) table napkin per person; stain-free table cloth; and their bathroom has tissue and hand wash that you can readily use.
Serving Size: Portions being served are usually good for two or more people. It’s perfect especially if you’re the type who is always curious on various food selections from their menu and would love to try it out in portions (without feeling too bloated afterwards).
Price Factor: It’s price is fairly affordable and acceptable as the food and dining experience is at par with its pricing. If you still find it a little bit expensive, you can check out food reservation mobile apps that gives certain discounts (pro tip! haha).
Something Unique: Alba’s branch at Prism Plaza has a mariachi band (or trio band / musicians) that will play songs for you while you dine. Have some songs in mind or let the band surprise you with songs that will surely add spice to your dining experience!
Personal Favorite: Alba’s paella negra, jamon serrano paired with queso manchego, and ensalada catalunia! (YUM!!!)
Room for Improvement: Probably expanding food selections at their buffet as it is only limited. Also, a choice to have a sweeter red wine for their sangria is also nice, hehe.
We had the buffet option here last night. It was good but nothing was great or wow. The people were really prepared for a lot of customers for coming so thumbs up for that. Also, great service!
