food winners: baby squid in olive oile, mais sibyla, bistek bangus
service: waiters not looking to the customers
ambiance: fine, okay
Will recommend to may family & friends
One of the best restos ever! 🖤
I don't even get what these negative comments about the service and all are about (specially for those who reserved through Eatigo) when there are terms & conditions present in the app, and on the table itself.
Anyway, all of the staff (in Bluebay) are veeeeery accommodating! Unlike what others say, we didn't feel any different just because we had our foods discounted coz of Eatigo. I felt like a princess, and my family felt like royalties, when we dined at Crisostomo. Shoutout to Guevarra who has been very patient, nice, and cheerful all throughout our dine!
The ambiance is ooohh so perfect as well. (It's best to visit them at nighttime though, so it will be less crowded. We got there at 8pm, and it felt so intimate.)
And the food? I don't know what are the perfect wordssssss to use to describe them. Sumptuous, tasty, presentable - all these are just understatements. The best! I also like how creatively named the menus were. We had:
•Sisig Linares
•Bracken Tofu
•Don Rafael Crispy Pata
•Kilawin ni Custodio
•Kare Kare ng Kura
•Sinigang Gomez
A bit pricey for the amount of servings, yes, but worth the money because they are very delicious!
Will definitely recommend this to balikbayans, specially if you want to experience a little bit of Filipino history in its modernized way.
God bless you, Crisostomo! 😊
Filipino Restaurant owned by Florabel which shows in the container goodies display near our table during late lunch last weekend with my family. They have a wide Menu but since we opted a simple, healthy Filipino dishes, we get Inabraw, Fried fish, Adobo sa Gata and Baby Squid. Each serving is good for 1-3 max.
Loved the food and the ambiance. the place was packed when we dined there. Loved their mini lechon, the skin was still crispy :) ohh. they also serve good desserts!
I am inclined to give this resto a 5.0, mainly because they served good food, quickly and on a lunch visit at a time when the place was actually packed.
We ordered a lot of items on the menu- sinigang, sisig, lato, taba ng talangka rice, tuna belly, guyabano shake and laing. Every dish seemed perfect. No food was cooked the shortcut-way, it seems. The taba ng talangka rice did not scrimp on the talangka, the lato was cooked right, the sisig was crispy and with the right fat combinations, and even the laing was not too overpowering nor too creamy. lastly, service was quick and polite. I would definitely recommend this place!
It's been a while since I dined at Crisostomo. I must say that they have maintained the quality of their food - meals are not too rich but with exact taste. Downside is that the orders are quite too long to be served but overall experience is good. Oh, and they serve red rice too! That's perfect for the weight-conscious people. :)
Such a beautifully designed restaurant! We were imagining how it would be great for private events. The balcony is picture perfect for a toast. We had calamares, lechon kawali, and adobo rice - everything was so savory good. A great place to bring friends from abroad for good Filipino-Spanish food.
I've tasted the best paella negra here so far. So tasty! All their other dishes are also must tries like the fish miso soup, sisig, beef salpicao, and many more. :)
Customer service is superb! Food are a bit pricey but when you get to know the taste, it makes sense. The place and ambiance will give you the feel of a traditional Filipino hapag kainan.
Food: 9/10 Filipino/Spanish style of food. A little bit “umay” but I suggest order the plain rice if you want to enjoy the dishes. Adobo rice is so delicious that you won’t be needing any ulam. Desserts looks so pretty and taste very filipino.
Place: 9/10 Nice place. Clean. Picture perfect but too small and crowded plus the sofa chair is so low.
Service: 10/10 Very accommodating. I like the picture souvenir. Personal touch.
Price: 10/10 I must say it is worth it. Not too expensive.
If you are an OFW or have an OFW family visiting the country this place is a must-go place.
