Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is surely one of the notable steakhouses in the world. From his humble beginnings, Wolfgang Zwiener, was once a head waiter at the nationally acclaimed Peter Luger’s Steakhouse, to the establishment of the original Wolfgang’s Steakhouse back in 2004 on NYC’s Park Avenue. Now boasting nineteen locations worldwide, this leading steakhouse has become a global sensation, recognized for its perfectly prepared USDA Prime dry-aged steaks.

Quite pricey but they have great steak! Good and attentive service too. Great cut of steaks with several other options for other non-steak items in case you are looking for more.

Wnights are fun and i wish there were more of these ‘coz they played songs that i danced to while i reminisce my school days, haha.

apart from such, the hors d’oeuvres were phenomenal as the meats were usda grade cuts and bot were they good, most especially the katsu style steak sandwich.

loved their take on the crabmeat for it was just one hefty spoonful on top of a fresh baguette slice. something i found really fascinating was how their sangria’s formula was light and fruity. im not a fan of alcohol infused drinks ‘coz of the bitter-y taste, but this one’s reco for people like me.

Best steak ever! In celebration of Mother’s Day we ate here. Their food serving is quite big.

The Mushroom Soup was good, its not too heavy and not nakakaumay. As your the Bacon, its pretty good as well but some parts of it are quite fatty. So if you’re a person who don’t favor fatty food you can pass on this. It is quite tasty though. Lastly the steak, we ordered it as Medium and it is quite a treat. It’s very soft, it somewhat melts in your mouth. It’s heavy in the tummy. So the one we ordered is good for 5-6 people to be honest. They also serve service bread which is quite tasty as well. Mouthwatering experience indeed.

The service was devine. They were very attentive (of course being an expensive restaurant). They place food on your plate once its served on the table.

Price wise, its all worth it but is very expensive. Emphasizing on the very. ;)

Overall, you must try this place for a great occassion. Spectacular food, ambiance and service.

We came upon Wolfgang's whilst looking for somewhere to enjoy our last day in the Philippines and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The food was amazing from the succulent dry aged NY serloin that was cooked to perfection to the mouth watering salmon and side dishes of grilled asparagus and seared mushrooms. All of this was complimented with a very nice bottle of Pinotage. The best part of the experience at Wolfgang's had to be the service. From the time we were seated our waiter Kyle displayed true 5 star service and we even had the pleasure of being serenaded by an amazing pianist. Price wise this restaurant is expensive but well worth it.

Porterhouse Medium Rare 👍
And Fillet Mignon

I liked the Porterhouse which is juicy and soft compared to Fillet mignon which is kinda dry.

Dim light which is relaxing.

Service - 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Very accommodating and friendly except for one staff who is also nice but her approach was more like a goon 😂

Celebrated my birthday here with my wife. Whether you’re a steak fanatic or not - always have your steak either rare or medium rare. That’s the only way to go.

We ordered:
- Shrimp for appetizer (It did not taste fresh)
- Ribeye for two (this was great but we’ll try the porterhouse next time)
- Onion rings (GREAT! It was well seasoned. I may be biased cause I love onion rings)
- Mashed potato (just right)
- House red wine
- Sangria

Overall it was a delightful experience. The attendants were attentive and even recommend what’s best to go with your steak. The ambiance was serene. Only downside is the price - we had a 10k bill. We’ll definitely be back. Not anytime soon but we will be back for sure.

Memorable dining experience as we celebrated our wedding anniversary here together with our kids. The Seafood Platter was quite fresh, each piece especially the oysters succulent and juicy. The wine we ordered paired very well with the Porterhouse Steak, one of the best steaks in town cooked to a perfect medium rare. The service was par excellence; attentive and personal, the friendly smiling staff made us feel like VIP.
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to the establishment.
We will surely come back. 😁

We decided to try this restaurant on a weekday lunch to avoid the crowd during weekends. I expected a lot from this restaurant, it was good, I was satisfied, but maybe I just expected more.

The ambiance could have been improved, for a place as such, it should not be too small and crowded. I can hear the conversations on almost all tables since we were seated almost in the middle. I could not even imagine what it feels like when the place is fully booked.

We ordered the Seafood Cocktail. The lobsters were okay, but it is not fresh, felt like it was frozen then thawed out. The crab meat was the winner, the shrimps had nothing special on it. I would rather devour on a kilo of mud crabs worth ₱800 than this platter worth ₱7500++

The French onion was fantastic, it had a nice balance of sweetness and saltiness. The picture will tell the others.

We tried the Taste of New York which included Mashed Potato and Creamed Spinach, please ask for your steaks to be RARE so you won't complain that it is dry etc (like the once next to us who had it done medium well, like are you kidding me?) These steaks are dry aged, it deserves the right way of cooking, come on. The steak was cooked perfectly, and with that Au Jus, it was a complete meal itself. The mashed potatoes were mousse like and I love it, the Spinach was perfect with the potatoes as well. I highly recommend this and is already good for two.

The porterhouse good for two, a kilo of meat that is perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was amazing, the quality of their steak is the reason for going back here. Skip the appetizers, so you won't be half full. Save your space for their amazing meat.

We ordered Japanese rice (why Japanese? I don't know, it's the only plain rice on the menu) ordering Steak Rice with my steak did not feel right. German potatoes were good, I just wished they didn't include the parts that were burnt so much. It had a nice smoky flavor but some pieces were just too bitter to swallow.

To finish of, we had an amazing cheesecake. It was so good and it gave justice to the awesome steak. The Key Lime pie was too sweet for me. It was overly concentrated and was way down below the cheesecake.

The servers were very attentive as it is just a small space. They were okay. I recommend a better exhaust so the smoke and smell won't circulate the dining area.

This is a steakhouse, and you have to order the best in their menu, which is steak, of course.

Enjoy!

💕 Date for Two: The Wolfgang Experience, Taste of New York
💌 Total: P7376

Overall: There’s no stopping Wolfgang’s Steakhouse now. We’re amazed how Peter Luger’s Head Waiter now conquers the world with his own chain of fancy steak houses. Acclaimed globally, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse opened their second branch at The Podium Mall. First store is at Resorts World Manila. They are currently in the works for their third one, hoping to captivate the busy world of BGC.

A true emblem of fine dining in the country, the restaurant adapted their New York-style interiors with circular chandeliers, comfiest couches and very fine wood works. The place was first intimidating but the second we’ve stepped in, we felt very much at home thus got even more excited with our lunch.

At the time of our visit, their currently offer Lunch Courses and Lunch Specials on top of their mainstays. We did try their two Lunch Courses. It’s a practical option as the courses already includes sides and desserts, and an optional addition of appetizer.

As expected, our visit started with a complimentary bread basket. There were no other choices for the butter, it was good but nothing special, we’ve tried better ones. We kinda love the one stuffed with onions and the rest were too dry and hard to chew.

We tried both of their Lunch Courses:
1. The Wolfgang Experience – unlike the other option, the Taste of New York, The Wolfgang Experience is priced depending on the entree, and also should you wish to add an appetizer.

Appetizer
Seafood Taster (P1088) – it’s a medley of tuna tartar, lobster salad and jumbo shrimp cocktail. All ingredients were locally sourced evidently fresh and of highest quality. The lobster salad was the star of this platter. If you’re working on a tight budget, this appetizer can be skipped. However, if you have some extra moolah to spare and really want that seafood fix, then go ahead and splurge.

Soup or Salad (included in the set, no additional charge)
Caesar Salad With Sizzling Bacon – fresh greens with croutons and cheese on top, served with few diced bacon. We must admit, we’re a bit disappointed how few the bacon bits were. We love how tasty and juicy it was so we would’ve appreciated it more if they tossed in a few more pieces. You might be thinking why in the world we’ve chosen a usual caesar salad at a fine dining restaurant like this. Oh well, they had us at BACON. Haha! Other options were the Beverly Hills Chopped Salad and Soup of The Day.
Entree

Rib Eye Steak (P3788) – 600 grams of glorious USDA Prime Dry-Aged Rib Eye done according to your preference. We personally requested our steak to be done medium rare. The restaurant’s suggestion was to have it done rare. We don’t think we’d be ready for that anytime soon. Haha! For now, we’ll stick with medium rare.

Look at that humongous cut! It’s like the size of a laptop already! Plus, the thickness was beaming on top as well. Once this was served right in front of us, we were in awe. It’s just crazy big. We cannot contain our excitement to try and have a bite. And oh, that cute pink cow is an indicator of how the meat was done (to avoid mix ups) and definitely not just for props.

That pink is perfecto! The crust was charred in moderation. The inside was screaming delicious and oozing with juices. The dry-aging was a success, we did not add any seasoning or sauce to this one as it was already tasty on its own. We’ve already tried a handful of really good steaks, Wolfgang might not have topped our lost but it sure is a good contender.
Sides (both included, no additional charge)

Creamed Spinach – we’ve never tried creamed spinach before so this first try definitely left a good impression. It was thick and tasty and doesn’t taste veggie-ish at all. We love how smooth it goes on the palate and how it compliments the steak.
Mashed Potatoes – we’re not that fond of mashed potatoes, but this one’s an exception. It was silky and creamy, not the usual texture of a mash.

Dessert of The Day
Tiramisu – the last course for the Wolfgang Experience. This sponge dessert is a must-try. So lucky us that this was the dessert of the day. This one tends to fly under the radar as we’re all focused on the meats. But at the end of the day, we all need a good old classic dessert. The Tiramisu was served with their homemade schlag, or normally called as whipped cream

2. Taste of New York (P2500) – the other option for their Lunch Courses. This one includes a sirloin steak, sides and dessert at a fixed cost.
Sirloin Steak – 400 grams of savory bone-in USDA Prime Dry-Aged Sirloin Steak done medium rare. This was more tender than the rib eye as this was less fatty. Served still boiling and bathing in its own juices, one bite sent us to steak heaven.

The outside was delicately charred and the inside was still perfectly pink and flavorful. The size was amazing huge as well, this alone can already satisfy two people.

Same sides were served, the Creamed Spinach and Mashed Potato. Having two sets of sides was too overwhelming for us, resulting with lots leftovers we got to take home.

New York-Style Cheesecake – simplicity at its finest. This one’s the soulmate of dessert purists. It’s smoothly rich and the sweetness was well-balanced, served with their homemade schlag as well.

This handy-dandy Old Fashioned Sauce, sitting between a salsa and a ketchup, was already present to each of their tables. This is to be paired to any of their dishes, whether it’s an appetizer or a steak. As much as it’s tempting to pour a lot, we haven’t been able to use this much as Wolfgang’s Steakhouse offerings can already stand on their own.

Service, as expected, was top-notch. As the place was relatively small, all waiters were all caught up with our requests so easily. They also initially serve the orders to eachof our plate. So if you still want to take a photo of that steak as a whole (we know you would want to!), better do it fast or just tell them to wait. Overall, all of them were very nice, accommodating and professional.

Important tip: On our second visit (yep, we did came back for more!), we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. Warning! It’s a trap! Haha! If you pick any of those, you’ll be charged a fortune for a good bottle of water, more peso to shell out if you consume more. We should’ve asked for their service water instead of agreeing to still water. Ikr, our fault! Please don’t ask us for the price, our hearts are still aching and we still cannot accept it until now, or ever. JK! Haha!

The restaurant’s Lunch Courses is available from Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Check out our full review of the restaurant here.

Value for money: Worth the splurge. This one’s perfect for special date nights and celebrations.

I will give this place an easy 5 stars.  I have been here about 2-3 times and always enjoyed every visit.  The service has always been exceptional and food on point.  This is the best place I have had a good steak in Manila, so it is my go to.  The sides are also very good.  My recommendation is to get the lobster mac n cheese, because.. why not?!!  I like my bone in rib eyes.  But Ive also had the porterhouse and thats also delicious and juicy.
Of course, the prices will be a little up there. But again, you get what you pay for.  It was worth my money and they can take it again.
Lovely place to go for a special occasion!

Their porterhouse steak is top notch, no doubt, and it is worth the price, as the serving is more than enough, even with steak rice and onion rings on the side. The steak is bursting with flavor and not dry at all. So so good, probably the best steak I have ever tried. We also had fresh baked oysters, which were really fresh you can still taste a little bit of the ocean, and of course the price will just shock you once you get your bill, so be prepared as it isn’t written down on the menu. For me, the best part of the meal is definitely the steak.

Had my post birthday dinner in Wolfgang. The staff are nice and accommodating, although we came a bit late and I thought we had ordered right before their last order. The 1kg T-Bone steak is massive!! My husband and I were crazy enough to share it and still it’s really big. We ordered our steak medium and it is cooked to perfection. Considering the price for our meal, I think it’s just worth it.

I had dinner here with my dad for Father's Day. As expected of a fine dining restaurant, the site was pristine and posh. Our waiters were attentive, polite, and cheerful.

Their Canadian bacon is absolutely succulent and mouthwatering. Every melt-in-your-mouth bite is worth savoring. Lucky for us, when the server accidentally dropped a small slice, he replaced it with a whole entire slice!

I've tried steaks from the likes of La Cabrera and Wagyu, and now I can say that Wolfgang's Porterhouse is the best steak I've ever had. Cooked to medium-rare perfection, the tender meat is well-seasoned and tastes even better when poured on with its natural oil. This restaurant is certainly worth coming back to.

BEWARE Vegans - this place ain't for you, just moo-ve on!

This was my first experience at a hi-end steakhouse in PH. We're from Chicago where all the premier steakhouses are present, so watch out. I read somewhere that one of the proprietors came from Peter Luger's in NY so i was looking forward to the experience.

We ordered the porterhouse for 3 or 4 (can't remember) and the prime rib special. The porterhouse was deliciously cooked to medium rare for us and tasted great! The prime rib was okay, i probably should have gone for a medium preparation as medium rare for prime rib can be too rare for many. There was blood everywhere 😋.

Bread was warm, chopped salad was fresh, baked potato was perfect and french onion soup was tasty. Wait staff were well-trained considering the restaurant just opened. This place will get my return business very soon...

Ordered the Porterhouse steak for 3, medium rare. 1 of the best steak houses in the Metro. Steak serving was really for 3 people, and cooked really well. No sides, so we got an order each of spinach and mashed potatoes. Sides were just so-so, bit salty. The ambiance was beautiful. Price is on the high side so for special occasions only.

My fiancè and I are steak lovers, thus this review. The quality of service was great. The crew members are very attentive and has knowledge about the menu. However, the food was just okay. The porterhouse good for 2 was really huge and that's it. It's only the size, but the quality, I think they could still do better. Also, I dont think the price is reasonable given that the quality is just satisfactory.

Ordered a medium rare porterhouse steak for 2. (Huge, can actually feed 3 people). It was beautiful. Juicy and cooked to perfection! It doesn't come with sides though so you'll have to order them sepately.

We got steak rice, brocolli and sauteed spinach. The rice and the brocolli were alright, but I wish I had tried the creamed spinach instead.

The chocolate cake was moist and we even got a discount on it (just the cake, not the bill) since we were celebrating a birthday.

They also have really good iced lattes. I would come back for that alone.

The interiors are fancy. There was music in the background but I only realized later on that they had a pianist! He started playing Tale as Old as Time later in the evening and it was romantic! Then Happy Birthday when they brought out the cake.

Paid about 8k for party of 2! (Yikes! Special occassions only)

Probably the best steak experience I've ever had in Manila. We went there during lunch the day after Valentine's and it was empty which means they only have us to focus with. Very polite and attentive staff, friendly and always eager to give your needs. The 1kg porterhouse steak we ordered in medium was, for the lack of a better adjective, glorious. Dry-aged to perfection, the meat was full of flavor and the charred edges were a welcoming treat in every bite. The creamed spinach was the perfect accompaniment too. Yum!

My friend and I took the table outside the main dining area and found it still decent and casual. We had the Wolfgang's Salad, Porterhouse for 2 (medium rare), Creamed Spinach and German Potatoes then we paired with it some Argentinian Red Wine. The salad was disappointingly blah - nothing really wows you at 438++. The German Potatoes were just served aesthetically not appetizing with more burnt ends than I can remember. The saving grace was the spinach. It sets the bar on what the ideal creamed spinach should be based on texture and taste - melt in your mouth very good compliment to the steak. The porterhouse is not the best I've tasted but definitely very tender. My friend preferred it with more salt and pepper but I like it just as it was served (of course with creamed spinach in between bites).

I ordered the Porterhouse for Three while I was with my girlfriend thinking that it would be your typical "Filipino" sized dish... boy was I wrong, it lasted two days before I can finally finish it :)
I like my steak Blue Rare which I believe is uncommon in our country - but - they got it right!
Lightly seared but not raw on the outside, ravishingly red and close to raw on the inside with the juices locked in. Hot outside and cold inside. It's a weird tasting note but that's how I like it.

I also ordered their Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach. Both of which were very good in taste and presentation. I paired this with a glass of white wine and a bottle of desert wine, the brand names I forget, but I took home the desert wine bottle with me, unfortunately, at the time of writing I don't have access to it.

After eating there, I couldn't be happier. Probably biased because I love myself a good steak!
Good Job Wolfgang. I also commend your staff for catering to our every need.

Michelin star chefs has been getting attention in our local food scene. Wolfgang's presence has been anticipated for months and we Filipinos including myself just had to see what they have to offer.

Resorts World takes an upgraded look with their presence. I believe it also paves way to attracting high profile foreigners in the nearby Casino.

Our curiosity and love for food came with a price tag of Php 13k. We were just 4 average eating dudes. I in particular limit my food consumption especially at night.

The service here is impeccable. The wait staff treats you like royalty. For one they distribute the dishes and divide them equally. They pay attention and could't wait to attend to your needs.

The steak being the star was our first order of business. The 1 kg 50-day aged steak from New York at Php 5500++ was flavor rich, real tender, soft enough and with an appetizing after taste. Almost like a blue cheese touch to it.

What impressed me most is their Seafood Platter. I was surprised that they served the crabs without a shell! It was a fat one too. The sauce that came with it was a welcome compliment to this fresh bunch that included tiger prawns and lobster.

I also loved the Spinach side. It was served with just the leaves in a mushy creamy way. This is how we should all serve it. It was just wow.

Were a little apprehensive after reading other people's reviews but it is not as bad as what was written there. French Onion soup for starters was good. Rich and flavorful. Ordered the 2kg prime rib and I find the taste okay. Not bland at all. The Jus was good and slightly salty which is perfect with the steak but I like the horseradish sauce better with it. Creamy spinach was good too but I didn't like the lobster Mac and cheese. Didn't spot any lobster in it. For desserts, it is best to share as the portions are huge. The ice cream in the sundae was delicious, I find the key lime pie too sweet and Apple streudel just okay. It comes with a huge scoop of whipped cream on the side. Cappuccino was watered down but their fresh fruit juices were good. Oh btw, I didn't like the free bread because it tasted like soap from the napkin it was served on.

Overall, tad bit pricey. Roughly P1000/100g. I understand where the sentiments of other people are coming from. If you are paying this much money, you expect everything to be flawless. I find the service attentive. Portions big. Food just okay. Better to have reservations prior to coming here esp on weekends.

The expectations were high when I first heard we were going to Wolfgang's. Besides the publicity the name generates, it is located on a classy place. The food did not disappoint. We had lobsters for appetizers and they were great and fresh! Next was the ceasar salad and the taste was enough to wash off the fishy taste the seafood left in our palate. For the main course, the steak was tender and was perfectly seared. I did not use any steak sauce so that I could savor the meaty taste and the saltiness was on the right level. It was aged and had less of a marinated taste. The steak was unique but was somewhat missing on the Filipino taste we have all grown accustomed to when eating steak. Overall the food was great and the service was topnotch. We only encountered a hitch, which was their kitchen could not catch up with all the orders and they were lagging on releasing food. Sides and salmon became dessert. It was an ordinary day but the place was full so i suggest advance reservation.

This is one of the best steak house I've been to here in the Philippines, I wouldn't give it a perfect score though.

We ordered Lamb Chops around 4 big slices good for 2 person, Fillet Mignon, Spinach and Asparagus which is in big serving. Both Spinach and Asparagus are good for 4 person. I don't like their sauce though, maybe because I'm used to having my steak with gravy or Worcestershire sauce. The staff are very accommodating and their services is very fast. They'll give you whatever you need. I went here on my birthday and they gave me a cake and even sung for me. I recommend you go to this place on your birthday too. But I tell you, eating here is pricey. Our order cost us almost $200. That comes with the vat and service charge. Haha. My friend was shocked for us paying that amount.

Also, you have to make reservations or else you will seat in the bar area like we did. PS: bring money okay. Especially if you're in group.

Alright lets get real here boys,

Ive tried Wolfgangs in both Japan and NY, difference? the staff. The meat, atmosphere, utensils, everything is signature wolfgangs. The thing is they try to incorporate local resources in their midst making a volatile reaction to wolfgang purists. Its the same place basically but a mix of Filipino hospitality ++ and Filipino laziness --. The meat is real as it gets, authentic usda, fine marbling, excellent pairing and great desserts. Then you feel that the meat gets way too salty, and a horrid aftertaste, in which I had to chug it with the wine :(( really bad performance with the meat IMO.

Conclusion: Don't bring your hopes up and respect the wolfgangs tradition and ways. :bd

I have tried this restaurant a couple of times in New York. The selection and taste of the food was exactly like the legendary Peter lugar steak house.

I was excited to try there resto here in Manila. I was telling myself, alas we have a real steak house in town.

I I tried going there for lunch. The ambiance is good. I notice that there ceiling had tiles that was similar to that in New York. Similar in a sense that you will notice they use a similar tile pattern for a boarder.

Going now with the food.

Bacon - to salty
Free bread - to salty
Cream spinach - same as the one in New York.
Steak - given that I have a certain level of expectation, this resto failed badly. And if I may say, even if I had no point of comparison to there resto in New York, this resto will steal fails.

The flavor was far for me. The texture of the beef was on the tough side. I ordered my steak medium rare and the center was a little cold.

I notice also that there price if I'm not mistaken is higher then the US. But that is really fine with me but I was expecting that I would get the same food experience. Even the way they serve it at the plate is also slightly different.

So for the steak, I would give it a 5/10.

The only thing that I would say was the same in there steak is the size and the looks.

Would I recommend the resto to anyone. No. In fact we had a reservation with my sisters to rat there and I told my sisters to have it cancelled and just change our venue. Which we did.

But there is a good upside to the resto - the dessert is spot on and the level of service is good. Well we went during lunch. Not sure what it would be like for dinner. I guest I would never know.

I would go there for dessert.

The cream that they serve is exactly the same as the one the New York also.

Now this is a steakhouse. The bread was really good and hot. Crab Cocktail was fantastic, Canadian Bacon, oh yeah!!! The porterhouse and rib-eye were mind blowing. The sides of steak rice, steak fries and creamed spinach were perfect sides to the steak. Even the cheesecake and apple strudel was good!!! Very pricey, but worth every peso. I will be back sooner than I should.

I called to reserve a table for 7:30, the hostess over the phone told me that 7:30 is fully booked but if we were to arrive at 7, she could give us a table.

We arrive at 7 only to find out our reservation is for 7:30. How confusing - not a great start! Anyway, they told me that the restaurant is fully booked and they could only give us a table outside instead, which was unacceptable! I called the manager and without hesitation the manager led me to a table inside.

I ordered the tuna tartare for my appetizer and we shared a "porterhouse for 3" amongst the 3 of us with sidings of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach.

Tuna tartare was delicious and fresh! The porterhouse was cooked to my liking - medium rare. I felt like the steak lacked flavor.. Mashed potato was yummy, but the creamed spinach needs improvement!!

P.S. The porterhouse that was good for 3 people, is actually good for 4 people. Large portion of steak!
