Been here more than thrice already, their ramen is consistently good. Waiting time to serve your food is just a bit long.
My boyfriend insisted that we try this place. I am not a fan of udon noodles but he is so I agreed. We waited a couple of minutes in the parking lot since it opens at 11am but when we arrived there are customers inside already.
We ordered chicken karaage, cheese curry tsukemen and marutoku tsukemen. The staff said they are the best sellers.
Chicken kaarage- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Quality is good and taste is good. Not a fan of kaarage but better than other restos.
Cheese curry tsukemen- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cheese goes well with everything. The fun of dipping the udon noodles in cheese and curry is satisfying.
Marutoku Tsukemen -⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you want something fresh on your tastebuds then this is the tsukemen for you. Curry sauce is too strong but this made my tastebuds relaxed.
Overall this restuarant is a 5⭐ for me since the tsukemen here is the best I tasted so far.
Staff are also welcoming and kind.
Ambiance makes you feel that you are in a legit japanese resto along with their Japanese customers. Once you see that there are locals that dine on a resto it means that the taste is legit.
Best tsukemen restaurant. 😁
During my first visit, I tried the following:
Medium double cheese tsukemen - too cheesy for me and I wasn’t a fan of their cheese sauce; medium was also too big a serving when I wanted to try other dishes
Spicy tuna - crunchy and yummy but I was looking for more tuna cubes
Gyoza - good and affordable
Pork buns/charsiu pao - this was the best tsukemen pair for me
During my second visit, I learned to order their usual tsukemen with egg (Ajitama Yuzu tsukemen) in its smallest portion and their charsiu pao — perfect combination.
Tip: ask the servers for broth to dilute your remaining tsukemen dip 💯
The ambience in the store is relaxing, relative to other fast-paced ramen joints. Service is also commendable — the servers know their products and I never had to ask for water because they keep on filling my glass.

This restaurant has been in my must eat places list for a long time now and today I finally had the chance to do it! I was looking for places in MOA when I remembered this one, and it was closer to were I was and decided to go here. I wanted to eat here primarily because of the ambiance. MAJOR JAPAN FEELS. I like that it wasn’t peak hour when I visited, I got to take photos without much shame haha! The food was okay, not my type of ramen mix but it was good for 250. It’s nice that they offer sizes for the ramen, with this you can have control on how much you want to eat. It appears that their specialty was tsukumen but I was afraid to try something new in my level of hungry at that moment.
It’s my first time to try tsukemen! I love how rich the broth is. It’s savory and flavorful. The Ebi Tempura Don is rich in flavor as well. The problem with some gyoza is the wrapper is too thick, this one is not and it’s not sticky. Will try the cheese tsukemen next time!
Amazing place to go when you want the authentic Tokyo village. I like how each serving were arranged, also very accommodating and welcoming staff. Food is not that bursting with goodness. Its just right. ❤️
Mitsuyado Sei-Men is one of my family's go-to restaus over how many years already.
Over the course of my frequent visits, I've noticed that the ramen has gotten greasier (photo for reference) than how it used to before. :( nonetheless, still tastes just as great. The Tsukemen was yumyum! I loved the cheese sauce, not too rich, not too light; just the right balance between the two. The charsiu was well-seasoned and tender. However, the noodles were quite hard and a bit dry for my liking.
What makes up for the *slight* disappointment are the huge servings, cozy interiors and accommodating staff.
Food = 3.5/5
Place and staff = 5/5
Value for money = 4/5. :)
Having lunch there on our way to Star City. Double Cheese Tsukemen is superb!!! Ebi Tempura Don is nice, crunchy and not oily at all! Just the portion is rather small.
One of their waiter is so nice and friendly. He offered highchair for my 1 yo toddler when he saw me sitting him on adult seat (which also okay actually). Nice gesture of him. Deeply appreciate it.
THE BEST! The noodles are thick and authentic. One bite you can instantly know that it's handmade. The soup is also superb. A real Japanese experience with superb serving that is worth your money!
We absolutely looove this place! Quality is very sulit for its price. We’ve been visiting this restuarant atleast twice a month for the past year. No joke.
Their tsukemen broth is very tasty and flavorful. The quality of their noodles is top-notch as well — not too soft nor too chewy. We always order the YUZU tsukemen and KARASHI tsukemen in cold noodles.
Our favorite side dishes are spicy tuna and gyoza, absolutely delicious and worth their price.
Service is great. Quick waiting time and servers are attentive. They make sure to always refill your tea.
I don’t know why this place doesn’t receive as much hype, but it absolutely must! My only request is that you have a loyalty program for your customers, or that you offer delivery services, please! :)
It was suprisingly good. I love the spicy shoyu ramen and chicken donbori. The noodles are firm. I'll definitely go back. The ambience was spacious and lighting was okay.
We’ve always overlooked this place when we go to bluebay, and it’s a good thing we finally tried eating there.
I usually judge a japanese restaurant by their gyoza and their gyoza did not disappoint. The tsukemen was good, though i personally find udon noodles heavy, i still really liked it. Their tonkotsu ramen was pretty nice too. It didnt taste as heavy as the other ramen places in the metro.
Service was great, but that’s probably because we were the only ones there.
The interiors were pretty, too.
Overall a very pleasant experience. :)
I have been wanting to try this for the longest time and guess what! Finally, after having a meeting with a client, I was able to have my late lunch here.
Ambiance - 5.0/5.0
The place is well ventilated, and the interiors are pretty amazing especially the walls and ceiling decors. It looks like I am literally eating in a stall that is inside a Japanese Market. I was honestly thinking that I am inside a Hole in the Wall.
Service - 2.0/5.0
This is the part where they are really not good at. Japanese service is pretty fast and beyond exception. Also, it seems like they do not like to serve their customers.
Food - 3.5/5.0
I ordered the Aji-tama Tsukemen (Regular size). The noodles they used is really heavy enough to fill my hunger. While the broth is just fine. I was looking for a certain taste that will make me WOW but over all the serving is generous.
Will try to go back and try their other offerings.

A very nice Japanese restaurant that offers an authentic ramen.
Food 5; Price 5; Ambience 5; Service 5. You better order the Karashi Tsukumen. It’s spicy, sweet, and with a hint of sour. The shoyu ramen was also superb. Walang suya. And it is always a great sign that there are lots of Japanese eating. We paid an average of P400 per person which was great value for money. Again, go for the karashi tsukument. And there’s always Yamato bakeshop for coffee and desert beside it.
We ordered Gyudon set, Karaage, Katsu Curry and Gyoza..I love how the curry tasted, it was not overpowering..Karaage was tender it was so good as well as the Gyoza..I was so full with my Gyudon I wasn't able to finish the ramen coz of the thick noodles..Very affordable for a set meal..Nice ambience and great service from the staff..
After our Pico de Lori trip, we had late lunch at Mitsuyado, Blue Bay Walk. My family and I were hungry from the trip and wanted something warm too because it has been raining for the past few days. Perfect day for ramen.
Mitsuyado Sei-men offers set meals for Php 320 that comes with potato salad too. There are three options:
Set A: Choose between Yuzu Tsukemen (small) or Shoyu Ramen (small) AND Gyoza (3pcs) with half rice
Set B: Choose between Yuzu Tsukemen (small) or Shoyu Ramen (small) AND Half Curry rice
Set C: Choose between Yuzu Tsukemen (small) or Shoyu Ramen (small) AND Half Gyudon
I ordered Set C chose shoyu ramen an ideal dish for the weather. I found their set meal sulit cause you have two kinds of dishes for the price of one. They don't have service water though just house tea.
Liked the interior too felt like I was in the streets of Kyoto.
my go-to Japanese place. Big servings. Right price. Delicious food. what's not to like?😋 Pork Katsu Curry, Tonkotsu Curry Ramen, Fried Gyoza. you can't go wrong here.☺
I never thought that this restaurant exist in Blue Bay. I was alone when I tried this resto. I was amazed that they have Set Meals that you can choose. Perfect food and interior design but I somehow didn't expect that crew was not really warm in welcoming their guest but I guess they were tired already because the restaurant is about to close when I entered the establishment.

Japanese vibe game too strong! When I entered the restaurant, it really felt like I was back in Japan. Together with their hospitable waitresses and authentic food, no one can top their Japan mood game!
Surprisingly, I really love their Cheese Curry Tsukemen even though it was my first time to try Tsukemen (bec obviously I'm a ramen person). The combination of cheese + curry (might sound weird) is perfect for the soft cold noodles. The Karashi Ramen is also worth a try! I love its umami and fiery taste. It's flavourful.
We walked out of the place really satisfied and can't wait to be back to indulge the Japanese goodness they offer (again).
PS. They don't serve free water BUT they serve house tea (hot/cold) which is good.
PPS. I LOVE THIS PLACE
We were so hungry and was about to order a large bowl of hakata tonkotsu and shoyu-ramen. My girlfriend stopped me when she saw how a large bowl of ramen looks like. We decided to go for a regular-sized bowl instead and still can’t finish it. Reasonable price for a very big serving. They also serve unlimited iced tea. (plain, bland without sugar but it’s fine) We’ll come back for more. 😊
I’m not really a fan of Japanese food but my fiancé’s uncle wanted a Ramen for dinner so we-decided to visit this place.
The place was really cozy and it feels like you are in the streets of Japan because of the interior. 👍
The servers were really attentive and the food was great 👍😊
We ate here yesterday. I ordered set B which includr potato salad, yuzu tsukemen (small) and half curry rice and I also ordered gyoza(5pcs). Be aware. The small size looks like medium size for me. It is not a bad thing though. Me and my friends loved the foods here but the noodles in my tsukemen should really be cold as indicated and not in room temperature though. My friends ordered curry rice, chicken karaage, Shoyu ramen (big) and set B: shoyu ramen, half curry rice and potato salad.
We went there dinner time, on a weekday, restaurant is calm, food are served hot especially the rice bowls. The cold ramen tastes good, wish that it could have been served colder, it was served at room tempterature already. Super loved their pork bun, it's way way better compare to the other ramen places. Utensils are served upon request, disposable chopsticks and condiments are at the table. Servers are attentive, liked their white uniform, looks neat and clean.
One of the best authentic japanese restaurants I've tried so far. Cozy ambiance and great food. I love their ebi tempura don and karaage. :)
One of my go-to comfort food places, Mitsuyadi Sei-Men doesn't disappoint, with its tsukemen and other Japanese food favorites. I would recommend that you choose your favorite tsukemen combo, which will surely give a satisfying meal. Burp!
I grew up in Japan and Tsukemen was one of my favorites. So far, this restaurant offers the most authentic tasting tsukemen from the noodles to the broth it is really good! Mitsuyado Sei-men is a tsukemen restaurant originated from Japan but TBH, I prefer the branch here in Philippines compared to the original in Japan the broth tasted really different.😊 in Japan it was on the sweeter side and I really did not like it. 😞
I really liked the ambiance and the interior of the branch in Bluebay walk. I ordered the Cheese Tsukemen. You can choose to have the noodles hot or cold but tsukemen is originally served with cold noodles so I had it cold then it is served with a very flavorful hot pork broth with a hint of yuzu (citrus fruit found in japan) you might find it a bit too salty and a bit thick but that's just how it should be so that the flavor will stick to the noodles once you dip it. At first I find the cheese tsukemen weird but it adds creaminess to flavor of the broth so its worth a try! I also love their gyoza I ask them to cook it well done to gave more crunch to it. They don't have a service water but they have a complementary hot or cold iced oolong tea which I love, very refreshing.
Quick Late Night Dinner and grabbed myself a bowl of Tan Tan Ramen & Gyoza.
Simple, Fast, and it gets the job done (to fill a crumbling stomach).
My officemates went to Mitsuyado to try their ramen. Feel like we're in Japan when we first entered the place. We went out of the place full and satisfied.
Order yuzu tsukemen price php 320.00
The noodles is tasteless but combine with the soup/ gravy its delicious.
Order deep fried gyoza, php 180.00 for 5pieces
Its crispy and delicious. Will return to try other food in menu.
Their dim lighting and Japan outdoor theme is amazing. It sets the mood when you eat thinking you're like in Japan.
They serve good food..ramen has a small serving portion which is good especially when you're ordering additional items. They make fresh noodles daily. The broth is heaven. Really good.
Karaage is tasty and fried perfectly. Gyoza also tastes good.
The pork bun is also delicious. Make sure you to add the yellow wasabi paste.
They serve complimentary hot our cold tea. No complimentary service water.
I've ordered their Curry Tsukemen and it tastes more than I've expected. The spiciness was just right and won't make you drink a liter of cold water. Try this place you wanna eat cold noodles. The serving was more than enough.

We loved the design and the ambiance of the place. The food that we ordered were one large Char siu ramen and Pork katsu curry. The serving is actually too much for us 😂 I can't really compare it with others but it was satisfyingly good. 😊
I absolutely love this place because I am a big tsukemen fan and there are very few places that serve them. I always order the cheese tsukemen although I always like their cheese curry tsukemen. My preference is having my noodle cold which may not be everyone's cup of tea (or noodles hahaha). Somehow, I feel like the taste of their cheese have changed, it's less flavorful so I'm deducting points. Other than that, love this place! Oh, and my mom loves their shrimp fried rice. And lastly, based on previous dining, their gyoza is terrible huhuhu
Foods. Ambiance. Japanese vibes. 👍👍 A date with my laogong. 💝 It's love, baby! No words can explain how delish the foods are. Hahaha. Saarrey!

This is the only Japanese restaurant within the blue wave complex , it was a gloomy afternoon , we just came from the History Con Manila at the WTC , kinda "hangry" at this moment .. I programmed my thoughts to order ramen , I was salivating with the image of Ippudo or ramen nagi for both serving and flavor ... But I was so disappointed .. I ordered for a cha Siu ramen .. I was expecting a bit more texture to the soup..it can somehow be compared to an instant beef noodle ... It lacks flavor ... The soup was so diluted .. I had no choice but to settle for the the vegetable tempura .. I liked how the place feels cozy and airy
Note : they don't serve service water , only service tea
I'm not sure if I'll be coming back here..
I really love the ambiance here. However, my love for Japanese food was tested in this restaurant because the authenticity of their food took some getting used to. Lol. The noodles in their ramen is perfection but just like what I said, the soup had flavors that are too extreme for my liking.
I love this place! The interior seems like Japan, suits the theme of the restaurant. They have good food, ambience and service. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Such a nice place with a lovely japanese ambiance. Once you step inside the restaurant, it feels like as if you have been transported to a street dining in Japan. The food is great and the service is good too. The price is middle range. Not cheap. Not too expensive. They do not serve tap water but they do have free hot tea if you ask for it. So far, I've enjoyed every food I've tried there.

Ordered Gyoza, Karachi Tsukemen (Large) & Chicken Black Pepper Don. (Donburi)
Everything we order was good and tasty. Portions were average, but I guess I was expecting a bigger portion since I ordered large. Service was very good. Ambiance was very Japanese. It was a pleasant dinner and i'd surely be back.
This is one of my top ramen places.Actually, more of their tsukumen(dipping ramen). The tempura is also good.I had my ramen w gyoza and japanese fried rice just like how I have it in Japan. No wonder my dad drives all the way to macapagal for this
Mitsuyado serves a heck of a bowl of tsukemen (ramen eaten best by dipping it in broths). We ordered their spicy Karashi Tsukemen, gyoza and black pepper chicken. I was first able to try Mitsuyado at their branch in Makati and then here. Both visits were great! What I dont like? Just the weak airconditioning in both stores.
😋🍜🎌 Japanese FamBam Dinner Sundate spent well with a must try food place, #MitsuyadoSeimen. The place feels like you're at the Land of the Rising Sun; with the interior and the food that they serve 😋 We got Chicken Black Pepper & Teriyaki Don, Miso Ramen and of course the house specialty; Karashi and Cheese Sauce Tsukumen. Their soup to each of their noodle meals are really good and savory. Chicken in their rice meals are also good as you, of course I love chicken! 😝 The noodles are perfect to what I wanted it to be. I'll make sure to visit again if I have time 😘 P.S. They don't serve service water but they have service cold tea. 🙌🏻 ❤️

This place was ok, it had a nice authentic feel like you were dining in a hawker place in 19th century Japan. Food was ok, its good but nothing here will get you hooked. Im thinking I should try their first branch in Makati to get a better taste of the food.
As soon as I entered the place, it felt like I was in Japan. I was able to eat here 2 years ago but I couldn't remember the name of the place. Luckily, while I was checking Zomato for a place we could dine for dinner, I came across this place and remembered how I loved their basil seed with honey drink. For their food, we ordered black peppered chicken, tonkatsu, and tempura. Sadly, we weren't able to order their ramen because we were not in the mood for noodles. For their peppered chicken, if you are a pepper lover, you'll surely love it especially because they use red mead (leg or thigh part) for their dish. Their tempura and tonkatsu were okay--nothing distinct but not bad too. I liked how they serve service tea (you can choose between hot or cold). Price is average while ambience is great.

Mitsuyado Sei-men is the go-to place for Tsukemen, the Japanese noodle dish where the soup is served separately with the noodles. First tried this in the Bel-Air branch and I have been coming back since then. The tsukemen with cheese is a must-try. For sides, I recommend their gyoza.
The Japanese style interiors of Mitsuyado Sei-Men is alluring. The food is good. We ordered the shoyu ramen (P330), double cheese sauce tsukemen (P370), ebi tempura (P280), gyoza (P190), Japanese fried rice (P170), and chicken teriyaki don (P270). Honestly, I have had better ramen. But still, I was very pleased by this restaurant.
whenever I crave for dipping ramen I go to this resto. Over the time I noticed serving got bigger than before (more noodles) Pls correct me if I am wrong. I used to order large to be filled but now I can order the smaller size and its quite a lot.
You'll never miss this place when you're in Blue Bay Walk. As we drove by Macapagal Avenue, this Japanese restaurant beckoned to me like giant maneki-neko. I just had to eat here. 😄
The interiors aren't decorated the same style as other Japanese restaurants are. They made the customers feel as if they were actually eating ramen from the noodle carts in the streets of Tokyo. I loved the concept, and that had me raring to slurp clean my first bowl of ramen.
I ordered the Hakata Ramen with the normal sized noodles coz' I'm not really a fan of the larger sized noodles. It was cooked just right, not mushy at all. The soup was lovely. It was piping hot just the way it should be. The taste was savory, milky, and not too salty. First sip of this and I forgot that I was actually drinking pork fat. 😅
The significant other ordered Char Siu ramen. He wasn't a fan of ramen but he said this one's pretty good.
We ordered gyoza as well and downed it in minutes. 😆
It's a shame we haven't tried the Tsukemen. We were pretty stuffed to order more. Will be returning soon for that!
It was one of those nights when we had to endure hours of traffic and we have not had dinner yet. We were cranky and wanted to eat some good ramen. We found Mitsuyado and decided to eat here instead of heading to our original destination (it meant more traffic so no thanks). I'm happy to say that we made the right decision. I was going to order shoyu ramen but then I saw tsukemen on the menu, which I've never tried before but heard good reviews about. We got the Marutoku Tsukemen and it definitely did not disappoint. Being a fan of noodles, I appreciate perfectly made and cooked noodles. Add the savory soup I've been craving for -- I got the best tray of tsukemen ever. This being my first time to try it, this will be my standard of "good tsukemen" from now on. The place was packed when we arrived, so I guess I could let the not being attended to efficiently by the staff pass. I am definitely coming back here to get some more tsukemen.
its our son's prom day at blue leaf. before checking in at hyatt, we decided to take lunch at blue bay. we chose between contis and mitsuyado, our son decided for mitsuyado. its just our 2nd visit, first time was in bel-air. of course we got what they are famous for...tsukemen! i got the yuzu, my wife opted for yasai and my son chose jumbo chasyu. we also got chicken karaage as appetizer. it was all good, same as last time. for this branch i noticed that the staff are not efficient. during our arrival, nobody greeted us and ask if we need a table. then a couple vacated a table so we decided to occupy it. then again nobody cleared the dishes on the table until we said so. i hope they would improve!
This place has been on a few "best lists" for ramen in the metro so even though I was craving for rice, I opted to get the Char Sui ramen. I always order this type of ramen so I can effectively compare which resto I like best and Mitsuyado Sei-Men's version is definitely the best I've had. First of all, the regular size is already good for 2 people. The broth has a light consistency but flavorful. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the pork slices were tender and nicely prepped. We also ordered the Gyoza and it was generously packed with filling. The place is styled like a classic japanese saloon and it serves as a great backdrop for your group pictures. The staff was attentive and easily accessible. The one thing I didn't like was that the meal packages are only serves 6AM to 6:45PM.
Just had a toothsome experience in Mitusyado Sei-Men. My favorite so far is their Teriyaki Chicken, and I'm looking forward to order more in the future. Their Tsukemen (especially the Double Cheese Sauce Tsukemen) and Ramen were exquisite; to back that up, my family kept ordering for more thick noodles for more rounds of food.
Although, the only downside at the time was the menu of beverage: there were only bottled waters, and no casual drink except beer.
RAMENNNNN!! It's so amazing here. We walk from our office in MOA to here, but it's worth it! The food is so good, big serving too! I really like the their spicy ramens, and the gyoza!! One of the best! The place, is so amazing~ Chinese vibes here. You should definitely try it here!!! 😁😍
Miso soup was a bit spicy, but it was good and they have a big serving. The gyoza and black pepper chicken also tastes good. The ambiance feels like your eating in a Japanese restaurant in Japan.
The best tsukemen i had!!! rather my first one yet! I ordered there cheese curry tsukemen since I am an avid fan of anything with cheese as the main ingredient. the noodles were firm and you could tell that it was definitely made well. The curry sauce itself is thick and compliments the cheese really well making it a hearty meal indeed. This one deserves a second comeback!
The interior of the place is pretty impressive I feel like I'm in the street of Japan. Very authentic. I love their Gyoza and their almond pastries. I need to try the thin noodles to go with my choice of ramen next time.
I'm not a fan of Japanese food but this resto converted me. Among the chains of Jap food in the metro, this one can walk the talk.
Ambiance - feels like you're transported to the streets of downtown Tokyo. Unpretentious, not overly decorated. They stayed true to their theme.
Food - their chicken curry and garlic chicken were gone in seconds. We also ordered their Ramen, gyoza and cheese pasta. Food is delicious. Good value for money.
Metro Manila is blessed with a bounty of good ramen restaurants, but when in the search of a little more unique Japanese restaurant specializing in tsukemen, you can’t go wrong with Mitsuyado Sei-men. Tons of ramen varieties can be found in this joint. Prices are okay for generous servings and dishes that guarantee a great kaleidoscope of Japanese flavors. Surely, it’s a convenient and reliable place to get your hands on high quality food. We left in a state of bliss. Super busog! :)The menu offers a good array of well-executed Japanese classics. I tried one of the best recommended items: the Cheese Curry Tsukumen (PhP 340, regular) which was unlike any ramen I’ve had. The al dente noodles were chunkier, thicker and wider than regular noodles in ramen, and they can be served either cold or hot as preferred. First timers are advised to consider going for the cold preparation, following tradition. The chewiness of the tsukemen noodles was also something to appreciate and enjoy. The thick and rich curry broth provided a symphony of tasty noodle slurping once mixed. And of course, the cheese on a separate bowl should be poured over to complete an aggressive blast of creaminess. For dessert, each of us ordered the Sumiyaki Coffee Jelly with Ice Cream (PhP 100). Soft coffee jelly paired with vanilla ice cream is always a simple but refreshing combination that’s obviously withstood the test of time. Taken together and savored, the flavors turned out great. I liked that the coffee layer wasn’t too strong or bitter to overpower the sweetness of the ice cream. Both were represented in every bite.
We just stopped over here from our overnight swimming at Laguna/Tagaytay trip. This restaurant was so dope! I love the service and I the foods that they serve! Perfect time here is at night!
I had set my eyes on this one. Good thing my siblings also wanted something Japanese.
The interior feels like dining in a small, busy Japanese street. Complete props! I just fell inlove.
The crew are amazing. Attentive and knowledgeable with the menu and the food. Also, they offer suggestions depending on your taste.
We ordered karashi ramen, yazu tsukemen and gyudon ( no heavy meals for it is already 10pm then).
VERDICT: The have a big serving of ramen and tsukemen but not with the gyudon ( no photo of the latter for my brother finished it in a snap).
The ramen gives just the right spicy kick. Not over whelming or acidic. Just perfect! The yuzu, i'm not able to comprehend just yet, will def comeback for it ( may be try the cheese).
Thank you, sir RDV for the resto advise! Thick noodles are now my thing.

It's my second time having lunch here today. This place really is awesome. Located at the EDSA side of Bluebaywalk, just beside the Yamato bakery. The interiors of the place was designed to look like a Japanese street corner with small shops and street signs. So you get this feeling that you are dining outside but you are actually inside.
For today, I ordered the house specialty, the cheese tsukemen. Tsukemen is noodles which is served on a plate separate from the broth. It comes with a pork tonkatsu broth which was thick enough and flavorful enough for dipping the noodles in. The cheese sauce looks a bit like watered down chiz whiz. So the way to eat this is to pour some of the cheese sauce on the noodles and then dip it in the broth then slurp up. There is a choice between hot or cold noodles, with the later having a firmer texture than the former. Its a bit difficult to grasp the noodles with the chopsticks once it is drenched in cheese sauce. Since the noodles becomes a bit slippery. So it takes a bit of technique and perseverance to eat this. And at first I thought, having the cheese sauce then dipping it in the broth will make this dish awfully salty, but surprisingly, it wasn't salty at all. It was actually quite tasty. The broth itself is a bit thick and bit salty to be eaten on its own, but when eaten with the noodles, its delicious. Noodles are actually very good paired with beer, but since I will be working later this afternoon, I settled for a can of ice cold Coca Cola.
There are other things in the menu as well so if noodles aren't your style then you may order something else. By the way, I have seen a couple of customers order coffee from next door Yamato bakery, and it was served at their table inside Mitsuyado. So again, there is something for everyone in this place.
I really have a thing for ramen and Mitsuyado sei men is very unique as well. Their double cheese Tsukemen is a must try in this joint. I just love the interiors and ambiance as well of the place that you fill transported to Japan. I also tried their chicken karaage, ebdamame and they were good compliments with the ramen that I just ordered.

Ever since my ramen savy friend brought me to Mitsuyado Bel-air, i have been a fan and crave for their tsukemen. So when they opened a branch at Blue Bay, which is near our place, i treated my husband and his friend to a dinner. Gladly, my husband also liked their Marutoku Tsukemen. I love the savory taste of their dipping sauce.
Its the first time I've had Tsukemen or imo Japanese pasta and I'd say its was a great experience. What I got to try were the following: Aji tama curry, Karashi, Jumbo Char siu, Curry cheese and Miso tsukemen in the order or best to least liked (I did like all though). I also had a few appetizers in no particular order: chawan mushi, gyoza, black pepper chicken and tempura. Definitely would come back but not too often due to the extreme richness of flavours.
Love the interior. Love the food. Great airconditioning. Kind staff. Price is a bit high.
Chopsticks are placed on the table. Condiments are available upon request, i think. They provide generous amount of tissue paper (haha). There's no service water, mind you. But they provide complimentary tea (service tea), available in hot and cold. I prefer the hot one.
The place is not too big, but i find it spacious. Maybe bcos of their spacing in between the tables from one another.
Plus, they also offer 50% off to yamato's pastries and other good products. I think cakes and eclairs are excluded from their list of discounted products.
I first tried their regular tsukemen simply because I got scared exploring tsukemen with cheese :p. It was really great and comforting. My husband tried ramen and it was equally great. When I finally tried their cheese tsukemen, it was divine! Really good and exciting to eat. I've heard from some that the Double Cheese is overly cheesy but I still want to try (hopefully soon). I remember from my last visit they do not have service water but tea (hot and cold). Food serving is hefty and very much worth it.
At first i thought it would be weird adding cheese sauce to the tsukemen noodles but after i tried. Omygahd. I certainly loved it! It was a great new experience to try something different!
I was in a hunt for good healthy food. Good thing I spotted this place. Japanese ambience made as authentic as possible. The food choices here are indeed interesting.
They were willing to customized my requirements as well like no oil, specific veggies only, etc. I will definitely go back.
This place seems a little off the beaten track but when I entered i was surprised to be transported into a little japanese village with bikes and small village houses. their Yuzu Tsukumen was the only thing I had with an egg and it was lovely. I love the unique citrus flavor of yuzu.
We found this by accident. We were so sad that day and we needed food for good mood. Our mood meter shot up when we tried they're gyoza that we had 2. I had tempura and cold salad noodles while my aunt and husband had ramen - with beer for lunch! Hands down the best gyoza and tempura in town. The gyoza was not tiny and cooked evenly and tasted fresh. The ebi tempura was also fresh and was fairly priced. The quality is comparable to those of fine dining Japanese restos.
Similar to the Jupiter branch, the place is made to look like you are in a street alley on old-town Japan. This is an authentic japanese ramen house. This time, we tried double cheese tsukemen, cheese curry tsukemen, gyoza, and char-tsui plate. They have good house tea, too. I highly recommended this place.
Curry ramen is my favorite comfort food! A must try for all you curry lovers out there! Dining here is always something to look forward to!
One of the few authentic japanese ramen restaurants out there. Makes you feel like you're really in Japan with their street style decor. I had the double cheese tsukemen during my first visit and I loved it! The noodles were perfectly cooked and the cheese sauce was just divine. I will definitely come back to try more.
This place is a treasure in Pasay City. Thanks to Mitsuyado Sei-men, I do not have to go to Fukuoka to taste the prefecture's specialty called Tsukemen -- a ramen dish with a twist. The restaurant's servers are friendly, the ambiance is unique, the tables are clean, and the dishes other than tsukemen are all very delicious. I recommend this place to ramen and Japanese fried rice lovers.
My only beef with the place is that it doesn't serve tap water. You have to buy bottled water if you want to drink H2O. Tap water in the Philippines is drinkable, unlike in countries like Hong Kong where people are warned about drinking faucet water. This is the first restaurant I've visited in Manila that doesn't provide service water.
Experience that is worth to go back anytime. Really really good! We had one cold noodles and regular miso ramen and one gyoza. All full and delicious! Yummy! ☺️
RAMEN WARS REVIEW: Tsukumen in Pasay
My best friend and I love Mitsuyado Sei-Men but we have always ever eaten at the branch along Jupiter Street. Yesterday we were going to the MOA area and decided to have dinner in their Pasay branch.
It was around 8pm and not to mention, a Friday payday so I expected we would have to wait. Lucky for us though, we managed to grab one of the last free tables before the place really filled up.
We opted to get our usual basic order of regular Yuzu Tsukumen with cold noodles. While waiting, I was pleased to see that they had immediately given us two glasses of their cold house tea which is still my favorite version from any ramen house. It was a delicious and refreshing treat while waiting for our food.
Our orders arrived in around 15-20 later and I had expected it to be of the same quality as their pioneer branch. I was slightly disappointed, to be honest. The noodles were perfect at always, but he broth was somewhat of a let down.
At first sip, I could tell that it was warm but bordering on cold already - unlike in their other branch which serves their bowls piping hot every single time. So the fact that I was dipping my cold noodles into already cooling broth was making it colder by the second. Half way through my meal I wish I'd ordered hot noodles instead.
Flavor-wise the broth also seemed like it was lacking something quality-wise, as if it were mass produced in a giant pot. It also seemed to have had twice more the amount of leeks than usual - which I actually like. But still. Serving temperature is everything. Again though, the taste could have been different just because it was not served hot. That was basically my only major issue.
Other than that, the ambiance of the place was quite brighter and busier, which was rather appropriate due to its location. The staff were quick to respond and accommodating.
Over-all I give this branch a 4.0 rating, which is 0.5 less than their original branch due to the quality of their broth. I would still recommend the brand to friends but would tell them to go to the other branch instead if they could.
I've heard a lot of good reviews on this restaurant, so I'm really intrigued to try it myself. I thought I was suddenly transported to Japan as soon as I stepped inside the resto. Everything is so japanese! Well, almost, I just hope that they'll let their servers wear kimono to make the japanese-theme more authentic and complete.
I loved the gyoza it's so flavorful and tasty. The terriyaki chicken is also very good. The much raved double cheese tsukamen, although tastes ok but the sauce/soup is way too salty, I have to add some water to neutralize the saltiness. I also like their dessert, cream anmitsu, so refreshing and the sweetness is just ok.
What I like best about Mitsuyado is their prices, very affordable and they don't scrimp on their servings. I just hope that they'll add more dishes in their menu in the near future.
