Sis is a restaurant known for the "paluto" ,you buy the ingredients then you choose how it'll be cooked.Located in Dampa,Macapagal Seaside ,they are at the forefront of all the restaurants in the area.Easy to find.

We had a family dinner/gathering here,my first time.A staff assisted us to buy the fresh produce .We bought our seafood from the wet market ,this is very popular to the tourists especially the oriental ones.The price in this market is quiet pricey ,thus I can indeed say its touristy.

Well back again with the restaurant after buying the ingredients like shrimp,salmon,clams and mud crabs.We like to have it done in steamed,tempura,chili garlic,sinigang,plain soup.The dishes are all nicely cooked,my favorites would be the salmon head in sinigang sa miso and the crispy breaded salmon belly.The sinigang was deeply satisfying and spot on.The crispy salmon belly love the crisp element of it.

The place is simple yet clean,they also have musikeros to serenade you while eating .Servers are fast and efficient.If you want fresh seafood and you want them the style you like them cooked this is one of the go to places.

It is one of the restaurants in dampa. A typical "paluto" place. We've been dinning here since we were kids. Our family love dinning in here. It is found right in front of other restaurants in dampa. It's a typical place where you buy your seafood at the nearby wet market then make "paluto".
Waiting for the foods to be served is a little bit long. Good thing they do have fast Wi-Fi connection.
We always let them cook buttered shirmp, baked tahong, inihaw na panga, sweet&spicy alimango, sinigang na hipon and ensaladang mangga. These are the usual seafood we eat whenever we dine here. I find the price reasonable.
They also have these 3 gentlemen that would sing, with their guitars and other musical instrument, at each table while dinning. You could suggest a song if you like.
I consider this as a childhood restaurant. I recommend friends to dine in here whenever they have seafood cravings.

Food's great. I love their grilled pork, buttered garlic shrimp and leche flan. The place is nice and clean as well. Moreover, the staff are friendly too. I want go back here again!

The concept and practice of seafood “paluto” gained popularity in the area of Macapagal Ave. Although “dampa” type restaurants are available in several areas in Metro Manila, even in those away from Manila Bay, “dampa” is associated with this line and cluster of restaurants along Macapagal. Sis Seafood has the advantage of being located right at the forefront, and as such is usually the one chosen by customers who don’t know where to dine or who are unfamiliar with the area.

In terms of the food, in general, there’s nothing too remarkable in them. Most are conventional and typical Filipino seafood dishes such as sinigang, inihaw, fried and steamed. The fun is actually obtained with choosing and buying the fishes and other seafood in the nearby wet market by the customers themselves, after which the chosen restaurant cooks these bought items according to the customers’ orders and specifications. In terms of value for money, it seems that this manner of cooking is more expensive than the a la carte dishes in these restaurants; thus, it is the unique “paluto” concept that makes the difference.

In fairness to Sis, the establishment has its own flavor and style of cooking conventional dishes. For example, the adobong pusit has some sweet taste in it. Although this practice is already common even in household kitchens, that of Sis is well-balanced. The staff also follows modifications in traditional cooking and recipes. For instance, they have cooked our request for seabass paksiw and salmon head and belly paksiw according to our own instructions, while these fishes are usually cooked as sinigang.
