Been here quite a few times already and it never disappoints! If you are craving for wagyu, this is your go-to place. You get to decide the doneness of your steak since you will be the one who will cook your steak on hot stone. They serve complimentary salad and soup.❤️❤️❤️

It was my first time to try an expensive wagyu in my whole life. Upon entering, I have the mindset that this should be one of the best restaurants (or at least the wagyu). The wagyu was cooked with their stone grill. It will be cooked in front of you. Or in other terms, you will manage your own wagyu whether you want it rare, medium rare, and etc. The meat was really tender and easy to chew. It’s worth the price. :)

By the way, their wagyu comes with side dishes such as broccoli, mashed potato, and soup. I love their soup!!

We also ordered their baked oyster. It’s really cheesy and yummy. I also loved it!!

My boyfriend and I stumbled to this restaurant just to try it out without knowing that the prices are "gold". The place was not crowded, people were drinking wine, soft music was playing in the background and the servers were all dressed up. And honestly at first, we stayed because we were a bit shy to back out. Anyway, after perusing their menu, we ordered top sirloin grade 10 - 350g (good for 2). It comes with soup, vegetable & potato side (replaceable with rice). It was the cheapest that we could afford and we were not hoping for the best at first.

There's a complimentary unlimited bread as we waited and all we could do while waiting was laugh and eat the complimentary bread - which is honestly buttery delicious, because of what we were thinking doing in that place.

Our meal came in and the first thing I noticed was the smell of meat cooking and it was a delight! The meat was cooking/grilling on top of the hot stone. The server puts it in front of us and he was a dear as he instructed us on how to cook the meat the way we wanted it.

Actually what I initially loved about the place was that the servers were all hospitable and attentive. They did not even for once showed signs of discrimination if we could afford the place or not. Anyway, back to the meat, the server kindly help us out with the grilling of the meat and when we got the hang of it, I couldnt wait but to try tasting a small slice of the meat and when I did, I think my world stopped.

I looked at my boyfriend, wide-eyed and seeing my reaction, he too tried out a slice and had the same expression on his face (I think his world stopped as well). I felt the meat literally melted in my mouth. I didnt cook it well enough but the texture was just perfect and the taste, the taste is just perfect! I couldnt explain in words as to what I just tasted but during that moment, we could only like cry out of happiness with what we just tasted. We were laughing like crazy kids and one of the servers politely asked if everything was okay and all I could say is that "kuya sobrang sarap" which he replied with a big smile.

The vegetables were also delicious and Im glad that I replaced the potato side with rice because for me this really need rice! The portion of the meat was just enough for the two of us but who are we kidding, we craved for more! But of course, we couldnt afford more hehe.

All in all, it was a really great decision that we tried this out and we didnt backed out because of the prices because with what we've experienced, I think it only explained why wagyu meat is expensive. If grade 10 is that delicious, what more for those with higher grade - I could only dream to taste it. We would definitely try this out again because what we just tasted and experience in there is something that I would never forget in my life. (And Im not over reacting it).

I give the five star rating to the wagyu! We ordered rib eye grade 6 wagyu and it’s the best steak I ever tasted. Never mind the hefty price - it’s definitely worth it! We also ordered their spaghetti con funghi I think but nothing special. Staff is accommodating too!

Good service,
Great food,
Relaxing ambience,
And overall a great experience.

We visited the House of Wagyu around 6:30pm for dinner. At the time, there were only my partner and I plus a small family dining. The waiters were very attentive with replenishing water and bread before and during the courses roll in. They are very accommodating and would happily take pictures for the diners and are actually into it too.

We ordered the best on the menu - the saga rib eye grade A4 500g
We also ordered an an appetizer, the gambas.

The soup was beautifully made with virgin oil art, with an equally beautiful taste.

The gambas appetizer was like eating plain centimeter thick salt.
It left a terrible taste and residue on my palate especially with the overwhelming garlic use.
I could barely taste the shrimp itself due to the over-seasoning.

Then the saga rib eye came. I had fine dining all across the globe and tasted from the best to the exotic, but I had never experienced such a fine taste before. I had many steak here in the Philippines and they had all disappointed me.
This is the first steak in the country that I can find words to describe.
It was an experience. The best food experience I had in a long time.

We took almost 3 hours just to slowly savor the flavor of this 12k cut.
Had to remove points because the attentiveness of the waiters greatly declined when more customers arrived. To our dismay, we had to wait over 20mins just to get another stone due to the previous losing its heat. Additionally, we also had to ask thrice until we could finally resume eating again.

If you're looking for the best steak the Philippines could ever give, this is the place to go.

Exceptional! We love everything, from pumpkin soup to dessert. I would highly recommend their grade 10 ribeye steak, it was pricey but it's really worth every bite. It has a great view of Manila Bay and if the weather is kind to us, we should've seen the sunset. Too bad it's cloudy. But definitely a great experience if you're a steak lover.

House of Wagyu Stone Grill offers premium cuts and premium grade steaks. Definitely a must try for steak lovers. I tried their Matsusaka A5 Grade 12, which is the holy grail of meats! It was definitely a great experience.

The foods are good especially the beef that was cooked on the stone!!!! Even their salad is great. My fiancé picked this restau to have his surprise engagement proposal for me, and I think this was the perfect place for our memorable moment. The staffs were accommodating (they even help my soon to be hubby find the perfect timing to announce his news while we are eating) , great service, romantic place and good food. Take note, my fiancé only reserved tables for 30persons, but it feels like we rented the whole restaurant, the restau manager was indeed very cooperative. We will definitely comeback here! :)

Nothing really bad to say about the food. Everything's good. Every staff seems to be well-trained, although the "don't cut the meat into small pieces" skit felt overly rehearsed. I'd say the Eastwood branch is far more laid-back than this branch. This is definitely the place for intimate dinners.

House of Wagyu is great for dates, family events and social gatherings. I gave it a 4.5/5 because of the price. However, I'm proud to say that they have the BEST steaks ever. You don't even need gravy anymore. Plus, it's a great experience to get to cook your own steak to the done-ness you prefer.

Sirloin is the cheapest, I liked it, however some of my relatives found it to taste like liver. Haha. So yes, cheap but it might not work for some.

Best to order would be Ribeye Grade 8. Super tender and yummy! It comes with soup and sides. You'll definitely have a happy tummy after. The service is good and the manager is very friendly. We go back as often as we can but we oftentimes wait for sales so that we don't have to spend as much. Trust me, after you've tried the steaks here, everything else will be ordinary. :P

Really pricey, really good steak, better than most steaks that I've had. Side dishes aren't that good. They do give 40% discount during their anniversary.

Been here few months ago with my wife, I must say that the food here is exceptionally very good! very tasty meat cooked on stone. However, my wife and I dined here because there is a special occassion and we want to relax. But the waiting staff spoiled the meal a bit. we felt rushed during our meal. Serving the next course the moment you finished the other is a mortal sin in service. Just to share guys!

Ever since the Philippines lifted the ban on Japanese Beef last 2014, Manila has been enjoying a Japanese Wagyu craze of the available top variants--Kobe, Matsusaka, and Ohmi. Now, the strictest quality Wagyu can be added to that list--Saga.

Have you ever wondered how A5 Grade 11 Japanese Wagyu would taste like cooked on stone grill? Take a look at our House of Wagyu Saga Prime A5 experience...

Champagne Henriot Brut Souverain. Brilliant light straw gold. Effervescence is dense and persistent, with fine bubbles. Aromas are precise, expressive and refreshing, with notes of citrus and yellow fruit. Pastry and spice on the palate, with fruity notes. Full and clean with a refreshing finish.

House of Wagyu in the Mall of Asia area enjoys a stunning elevated view of the Manila sunset! Start your meal with a glass of champagne for cocktails as you watch the sun go down on the horizon.

I was excited to see how Saga Prime A5 Wagyu with a Grade 11 Rating marbling actually looks like.

Beef Grading
The Saga Japanese Wagyu brand only accepts wagyu beef with a minimum rating of 7 and up.

I like the casual-fine dining feel of House of Wagyu, which is perfect for a milestone celebration or a date with your special someone.

Montes Alpha Chardonnay. A strong fruity wine. Evident banana, pineapple, and tropical fruits in the upfront with well-integrated oak. A long and pleasant finish with a nice buttery after taste.

I love the fruity, refreshing feel of the Chardonnay to prepare your appetite for the delectable Wagyu meal ahead.

The Wagyu meal started with a flavorful Cream of Carrot Soup with a light consistency.

Scallop and Shrimp Salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette

Make sure to eat a healthy salad before the steak main course.

The Saga perfecture is located near the Fukuoka area in Kyushu Island.

Japanese Black Wagyu
Saga perfecture is known to produce one of the highest quality Wagyu Beef in Japan.

We were excited like kids to see one of the highest grades of Japanese Wagyu on our plate here in Manila.

Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep ruby red. Lots of berry fruits and hints of tobacco & vanilla. Abundant soft-rounded tannins, full-bodied, very pleasant and sophisticated with a delightfully long finish.

I recommend ordering a glass of the Chilean wine, Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon, with lots of tannins that cut through the fat of the Wagyu.

The highest grade of marbling seems to have more fat portions than meat.

Typically, potatoes are served, but I was glad to know you can order garlic rice to balance the rich flavor of the Wagyu.

It was awesome to meet Carmelo Santiago, the man behind the successful Melo's and House of Wagyu steak houses in Manila.

Carefully put one slice of wagyu meat on the hot stone plate. Wait for 15-30 seconds for the steak to cook (this may vary based on how hot the stone is from the time it was served).

Season one side with just salt and pepper to taste. Make sure to turn over the steak just once and sear it on the opposite side. Season the other side as well to taste.

Best to sear it to Medium Rare with a pinkish-red inside. But even if you prefer to eat it well done, this type of high quality Wagyu will still taste very good.

Best to slice directly on the slab. Take your time to savor and enjoy the flavor!

Olive Oil Ice Cream with Strawberry and Mango Mille Feuille with Vanilla Ice Cream. Order an ice cream with fruits to refresh your palate and end on a sweet, happy note.

Congrats to Corinne and Carmelo Santiago of House of Wagyu for bringing the best Japanese Wagyu experience to Manila!

The taste of Saga Premium A5 Wagyu is buttery rich with full-on Wagyu flavor. You can feel the umami richness after the 3rd or 4th slice; some people even had a bit of a headache after eating.

The steak is so tender and soft that it literally melts in your mouth! This is also a point of criticism for this high grade Wagyu, as it feels like you're eating more of the fat that you can no longer taste the texture and beefy finish as you chew on the meat.

Overall, this Japanese Wagyu experience at House of Wagyu in MOA is the perfect steak date place. It's best enjoyed with a special someone who appreciates high quality steaks and the awesome view of the Manila sunset.

Wanting to explore the world of beef and steak, we bought a voucher from an online deals site that gave us about 50% discount for a meal at House of Wagyu Stone Grill which included a 350 gram, grade 9 Wagyu beef. It also came with soup of the day, mashed potato and vegetables.

French onion soup (soup of the day) is pleasantly served into three bowls. I liked the presentation where an herb infused oil over the soup mimicked latte art. The soup itself was thick and creamy. I am not really a fan of onions in burgers, but I like the taste when they are all caramelized and sweet. You could pair it with the house bread if you like.

Apron time! Before our main dish was served, we were assisted by the serving staff to wear aprons. Yes a full upper body apron. I wondered about the necessity of the apron for a while, but I guess it was part of the experience.

Then comes the slab of raw meat on top of a piping hot stone. The stone grill is sort of a cross between a sizzling plate and a smokeless grill (the types you see in yakimix). It cooks the raw slab of meat on the spot so you get to decide on your doneness.

…After a while we noticed some oil marks of the paper covered table. We realized that the brown apron was to cover our clothes from the occasional juice that sizzled out of the stone grill.

I remember being specifically instructed by the server to slice a few pieces of meat off the slab and cook it a few slices at a time, not chop the whole slab into pieces at once and cook it altogether. This is to keep the natural juices in the meat and enjoy the full flavor.

House of Wagyu smokeless grill is a bit pricey but the meat you get is worth it. The meat, the raw meat grilling in front you, just seeing that juice and smelling that beefy goodness, you’ll know you have something good. When I tasted my first slice, it had all that natural beef flavor . This is the natural version of all those beef flavored bouillon cubes in the market. Even without additional salt and pepper, the meat had enough flavor all by itself. It was also tender and did I already mention juicy?

Before I forget, the mashed potato with vegetables was a good pair to the meat. The mashed potato has a cheese-like flavor but not overpowering. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. I’m glad that it had broccoli and cauliflower and not just the usual corn and carrots.

My opinion is quite torn on cook it yourself food (i.e. smokeless grills, hot pot, etc) because I often do not want to wait for the food to be cooked (already hungry) and I just want to eat. But still, cooking it yourself is what makes the experience different compared to other types of food service.

Nonetheless, I loved eating at House of Wagyu Stone Grill. Their meat really tasted good. Imagine having that flavor without any sauces! I haven’t had any beef with that kind of taste all on its own. This Wagyu beef is a must try. And seeing the meat get cooked in front of you is plus factor for dining experience. You could also get a view of the Manila Bay sunset if you dine in the afternoon.

I accompanied a friend who was craving for good steak. He says this place serves the best steaks, so here we went.

For starters, their bread was good and the salad was alright. Their pasta was not bad, and so was their dessert. I had the panacotta and my friend had his creme brulee.

It does seem that the major attraction here is how they serve their steaks. My friend ordered the most expensive steak, and it came on a slab of what seemed like a really hot volcanic rock. The meat on it sizzled up until the end of the meal. The waiter told my pal not to slice the entire steak into pieces in advance, as it would ruin the experience. The steaks were served unaltered, as my friend asked for both salt and gravy, which the responsive waitstaff gladly obliged.

My message to you is, if you're not into steaks, this isn't the place for you. I guess with the exception of the Wagyu steaks, everything else is just plain jane.

A tender slab of beef on a hot stone grill, and I call it the Wagyu Style!

Revered as the heaven-blessed portion of beef ever to touch the lips and stomachs of us mere mortals, this aesthetically upbeat fine-dining restaurant features Wagyu Beef in a primitive but at the same time modern experience. Situated on the heights of the Prism Plaza in the Mall of Asia Complex, the ambiance is something to truly behold. Rain or shine, this restaurant boasts of a uniqueness that only a fine dish can complement, and this is what you actually get.

Bread, onion and leek soup, french onion soup, topped with a main that defies all notions of stone, to order just their signature slab brings you to a new level of cuisine that you'd come back for over and over.

The service is spot on, and not a speck less of perfection. The servers are attentive, feeling the needs of their guests. Even making use of their peripheral vision to spot your every need. Subtle signals give each server a hint of what's happening at their tables. None of that noise of howling and whistling to disturb you as you gorge on your plate, if you're served one with your steak.

I can't really emphasize on how you begin to indulge on your meal since that would be giving too much away. Better to have yourself blown away in the subtlest of manners with the delicious, sumptuous and grace-laden dishes this side of town has to offer.
