Always the perfect cup of coffee with any of their pastries. We cannot NOT go here after every Mitsuyado SeiMen meal (Pasay and Jupiter Makati branches). Staff is great too!
I loved the food at Yamato Bakery Cafe in Makati but I don't like the staff!!!
Yamato is one of the trusted Bakery I know. They have quality bread and you'll know just by trying one piece.
I was looking for the Loaf bread I have tried before. But since I cannot remember which one I have tried before, I just bought Hokkaido Php129/loaf.
It's soft and fluffy and fresh. 👍
After our late lunch at Mitsuyado, we had coffee and desserts right beside it - Yamato. Since Mitsuyado is also owned by UCC same with Yamato Cafe.
Got excited when I saw animal inspired buns. Huhu i love bread so much I can live on it. 😂 I tried their Matcha and Caramel Custard (Php 88) it was shaped like a turtle. Cutieeee! Then I ordered Almond latte (Php 130, 8oz). I like their coffee and same with the bun the caramel wasn’t overly sweet, it was just right. I will order it again next time.
Then my parents got some danish which was Php88 each. I still prefer French Baker’s danish though
I've been here before and back then parking was a problem because it was free. They've changed it to a paid parking area so it's easier to find a vacant parking slot. I think those parking there back then weren't patrons anyway. 😕 Anyhoo..back to the bread. They have some tables so you can have coffee while eating your pastry. I prefer buying my picks and taking them home where I can enjoy and savour every bite in the comforts of my home. No need to worry if you smear cream all over your mouth and just enjoy every bite. Sometimes I look at the mirror to see how silly I look. 😂 I'm not sure what I bought because the labels on the shelves weren't updated since I was there 7am. I just took pictures of my picks and did what Andrew Zimmern always says "if it looks good, eat it." And so I did. I loved everyone of them. Not too sweet and very savoury. 😍 I'm definitely going back to try the others. I didn't want to over do it and some shelves were still empty at that early hour, but the kitchen was still busy baking. 😮 Despite being busy with baking, the bakers still greeted me when I came in. I greeted them good morning of course 😉
Drop by here after.eating dinner at food club they have 50% off at 8pm i think love the croissant with ham and cheese love also the peach bread. Service is good.
Yamato, a Japanese bakery, offers a variety of breads and pastries. For me, I always come back for their mini maple croissants because it is so good! It is not that sweet and the bread is baked perfectly, flaky and airy.
Other than that, I do like their danishes.
A nice place to get your sweet fix with their cute cakes and desserts. The cakes are visually attractive and priced affordably. What's nice is that they also open early.
I love the breads in Yamato especially at 9pm. All breads are at 50% off. I love that not all breads are sweet. I would usually buy the one with patty, sausage, pizza and egg. I don't like sweets that's why I'm not a fan of their chocolate covered breads.
I'm not sure of the name of my order but it's something like Tonkatsu Sandwich, an item that comes from their open ref and is heated before serving. This cannot compare to eating Tonkatsu with rice because the meat doesn't have any crunch to maintain. I got tired of eating it midway.
They don't have service water but they DO have cold tea. Also refillable. Also free. Thank you! :)
My favorite place to visit whenever the clock strikes 10pm (sometimes 9:30). Their pastries are 50% off and it's surprising that lots are still available. Just be sure to grab as much as you can as soon as the price turns half because they sell pretty fast. I think most people are actually waiting for the discount? Lol I love their savory and sweet croissants. Though i find their green tea croissant quite overpowering. My favorite is the chocolate flavor. And oh, they also sell here Coco Royal flavored drinks for 70 php!!! It's my favorite drink in the world. Don't forget to try it. My favorite is the basil seed drink with honey. ❤️
It was my first time to try their food here and I really have a hard time deciding what to buy.
I decided to buy their red velvet crinkles. It looks nice and it costs Php 100.00. I expected that the crinkles won't be that sweet but it turned out it was very sweet. The crinkles were crispy. Overall, the store made me feel warm like I was at home and the worker was really kind. Hope that they would make the crinkles less sweet. And maybe, they could make a chewy version of it for those who prefer chewy crinkles.
