First time to try Johnny Chow and it did not disappoint, fast service and the food oh so yummy! Not the typical chinese food but the chinese food you'll love. May just a tinnie tiny bit pricy but since proportion is for big group that's forgivable.

The food was delicious. We ordered dumplings (shrimp, pork bbq, and pork), birthday noodles, salted egg shrimps, Nirvana salad, and Macau style roasted pork. Perfect! My only complaint during the visit was the fly buzzing around.
I have always passed by Johnny Chow whenever I am in RWM and, always, I get intimidated because of its interiors so I never thought of setting foot here.
What made me finally decide to try Johnny Chow is when I saw their poster of the Hot and Sour Soup
Here’s what we ordered:
Hot and Sour Soup with Noodles - serves 5 pax for Php389. But they also have serving for 1 for Php150. The hong kong noodle was thin and soft. Goes well with the thick soup. The soup has generous serving of tofu, mushrooms, wood ear and shredded vegetables. One thing I always look for in a chinese restaurant is the Hot and Soup Soup. And I am truly happy with Johnny Chow’s version.
Famous Hot Salad - anothet staple in a chinese lauriat set meal. This one has halved grapes and chopped green apples. Usual fruit cocktail and iceberg lettuce with crispy fried prawns in a creamy mayonnaise dressing. I just found the dressing too overwhelming, too much for the fruit/prawn salad.
Johnny Chow Soy Hainan Chicken with Ginger Sauce - usual hainanese chicken but with a sweet-soy sauce. It’s a mix of hainanese chicken and soy chicken. Tender and cooked well. It also has a lot of shredded onion leeks. Try putting the soy chicken sauce over rice and add some black vinegar. Feels like home!
For its price, well, considered pricey compared to other chinese restaurants. But I wouldn’t mind paying extra knowing that I am getting quality and well-cooked food.
Their interior is also well decorated, with modern chinese music in the background. I will definitely be back soon.
We enjoyed the food here...the staff are nice and the ambience is good...We ordered different kinds of pork menus and all are deliciously cooked. thanks we will visit next time!
Feeling a little hungry for dimsum? Johnny Chow good place to get chinese food. Their location is great and the ambience is good. The food is good too, although the serving is small but alright.
I spent 18 months in Manila and it's not easy to find somewhere that serves fresh and quality food at a reasonable price but I found that Johnny Chow consistently does this. Definately my favourite place to eat in the whole of Manila. I really can't understand some of the reviews below and their low ratings and complaints that it's over priced. Perhaps they are comparing to the places in their own country? I've paid a lot more in other restaurants in Manila and been served much lower quality food. I just wish there were more Johnny Chows around Manila!

Over-all rating was low so we hesitated but ended up dining given we were looking for Chinese food. In the end, we didn't quite understand why the restaurant was rated low. We enjoyed it a lot and total experience was pleasant. Service crew was great too!
The spare ribs, fried rice, fish fillet with black sauce and the birthday noodles was all satisfyingly good without the usual sleepiness after dining in a Chinese resto (due probably to MSG).
The food was okay but not worth the price. It's a bit pricey for the taste of the food. The stuffed pineapple shrimp wasn't nice at all! The lemon chicken was okay. I like the kimchi rice and spring rolls though.
For the over all experience, I just couldn't decipher what this restaurant's forte is. I don't know if it's chinese, american, korean.. The ambiance was okay and the food came in fast. So I give this restaurant an average score 👌🏽
Had our merienda here a week ago before i fly back to Dubai. Food was good esp the asado pao. Must say that price is reasonable, each serving is good for 2-3 persons
My friends (who picked me up at the airport) and I ate our lunch here yesterday.
We had the scallop dumplings, sizzling beef angus and kimchi rice.
I like that the menu is very diverse that we ordered something chinese, korean and american.
I think the price can be justified by how good the foods are.
I'm giving this 4.5/5.
