This restaurant my friends is very underrated but it deserved all praises. It is indeed the best restaurant I've ever been to that served real good food. Everything is fresh and has good flavor. The staffs were very attentive and accommodating. Will definitely come back more often here since it's just walking distance from my office plus you can also use your Zomato Gold membership here for single dishes. 👌
If you want to have authentic hainanese chicken, this is the place! Heard about Tiong Bahru because of my mom's friend. This restaurant that originated in Singapore as a hawker stall is one of the few hole-in-the-wall restaurants that is super underrated! We ordered their boneless hainanese chicken (whole) and it's good for sharing already (4 heavy eaters)! I love how the taste is so authentic and close to the original. The hainanese chicken rice is one of the best I've tried here in the PH. The rice tastes so much like chicken broth, you can't help but eat the rice on its own! For sides, we ordered boneless chicken feet skin and some crispy tofu. I've always wanted to try the boneless chicken feet I had in Korea again, so, though the flavors are different, this one hits the spot! Very fresh, and flavorful. Will definitely come back again and use my Zomato Gold!

Tiong Bahru is a restaurant offering authentic hawker food in Met Live Mall. It's a name that started in Singapore's Tiong Bahru Market, where it gained a lot of loyal patrons and earned the Michlein Bib Gourmand Award from 2017 to 2019.

I just chanced upon this restaurant while browsing thru Zomato Gold partners and I immediately scheduled a lunch date with my hubby. We used to live in Singapore and I missed some of the food that we eat there. I'm not a fan of Hainanese chicken but I love the Roasted Chicken Rice and I can't find a legit restaurant that offers this. When I saw this on Zomato, I knew that I just had to try it.
I availed the Zomato Gold and got two dishes - Roasted Chicken Rice and Lemon Chicken. Verdict? Best roasted chicken rice dish I've had here in Manila. It tastes the same as the one that I used to buy in Singapore. Even the thick soy sauce is the same. I'll definitely go back.
My family enjoys the food here, especially the nephews and nieces who loved eating Hainanese chicken in SG. The chicken is not as plump as it is in SG, but taste is almost just the same. I am glad there is a branch here in Manila so it's almost always just a short drive away whenever we're craving good Hainanese chicken and rice. The fried tofu is super popular with kids, and the kailan is super popular among the oldies.
Tasty hainanese chicken and side dishes. Roasted chicken was good and chicken rice was not oily and fragrant. Chili sauce was perfectly seasoned. Hope they offer more drinks variety. A zomato gold partner was the best part!

This is our office’s go to lunch comfort food wherein we share good laughs and better food. The restaurant brings happiness to our tummies and the price is very reasonable.

My 6th trip here. The chicken rice here is really very authentic. Not watered-down nor localised version of Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice. My first 5 trips were made within 7 days. That is how good the taste is.
For this trip, brought 2 friends along. We have:
Whole Hainanese Chicken: 9/10. This is how it will taste and feel like in Singapore.
Half Roast Chicken: 8/10. This is how it will taste and feel like in Singapore, though this seems slightly drier.
Chicken Rice: Today’s rice was slightly on the damp side. The taste is great, but the texture is too damp today. 7.5/10 for today. On my previous trips, the rice easily reach 9/10 before. So the consistency need to be improved upon.
Chicken Soup (free): very slightly more salty than most similar soup in Singapore, but it’s really authentic. 8.5/10
Chilli: 9.5/10. They didn’t water it down. This is how it tastes like in Singapore’s
Thai Chicken Feet: didn’t eat it in Singapore before. My friends love this and says it’s great, so 8.5/10
Chicken Curry Noodles: tastes similar to the ones in Singapore. But it’s only 6/10 because I never found the curry noodles in Singapore tasty at all. Maybe those who don’t like spicy curry and prefer their curry watered down will love this.
The food is really good that 3 of us finished everything except for half a bowl of curry noodles.
Tastes like Singapore, as someone that lived there for a few months. Better chicken rice than some of their competitors, and quite affordable, especially with zomato gold
