My Grandma, who's a picky eater was able to eat a lot in this place. Thank you, we will definitely come back.
Chi Gai is definitely a cozy place for vietnamese food. The owner was very kind to us and she even shared to us the story of how it all came to be. I definitely recommend their fresh spring rolls! Their peanut sauce is to die for. I also ask that you get their desserts! Any would do, they were all delicious!
If you're into light and flavorful dishes, this is a good place to go to. I like how the beef is done medium rare with the pho and the Mango and prawn salad is quite addictive. :) and the Charsiu pork is soft, you can slice it with chopsticks. What we love the most is how the staff gets interactive with customers. That's a huge plus :)

Love their spring rolls. If you're looking for a good place for vietnamese food this is it. Just don't expect a lot of ambiance. It's homely though.
Good to know that their is a good Vietnamese resto in BF. The place was a bit unmanned so food were served a bit late. Even though, one if their staff was very kind enough to share stories and laugh with us when we asked questions while waiting for our food. I liked their Bun Cha Gio and Prawn & Mango Salad😘
Best Viet cuisine in South. I love their coffee and how they make it plus their fresh spring rolls is one of the best. A must try resto if you're near the place.
Kate63 brought me here a few times when they were newly opened and I have to say that they have vastly improved in all areas we were frustrated before: like the service, it was better, although the lack of customers may account to that; the menu was lovely with good photos accompanying each dish, although those were same photos of the first dishes that they were serving too; the quality of food has gotten better, giving each dish we ordered a solid taste of Vietnamese food.
We got blessed that just as when we were finished with our dinner, the owner, Ms. Bing Arpid (got the name from her waitstaff) came by and chatted with us, telling us about the direction the resto is taking, and I’m glad she’s committed to serving a consistently authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I’m glad because this cuisine has a very wide market with very little competition. If my experience is to judged by, they will soon carve a solid name in these area where the Korean cuisine is slugging it tough with a very dense competition, leaving Chi Gai to run away with the money, enjoying giving customers an alternative cuisine with satisfaction.
Why is this place related so low? This is one of my go-to Viet places in BF Homes apart from Viet Asia, and their bun cha is solid good! I always order their Bun Cha Gio, because their fried spring rolls are to die for! Sauce is a little lacking in amount but flavor is pretty much nailed down.
The beef in their Bun Bo Xao isn't a lot, so you'll get far better value for money with the Bun Cha Gio. Nothing beats the actual bun cha in Vietnam, but for an alternative much closer to home, they pass the mark.
The interiors are basically a house converted into a restaurant, but servers are always friendly. This place needs more love :)
I love pho! And this place provides an authentic pho. My husband stayed in Vietnam for 3months and according to him this is pretty close to the authentic pho from Vietnam. I can say that is pretty close to my friend’s mom pho (she’s from Laos).
