Loved the Liempo and Chicken with their special gravy! Service was also good, everyone was attentive and food came quickly. Will definitely come back and recommend this place.
This is a comfy place tho small. I like their chopsuey. My kids like the roasted chicken. Customer service is not consistent tho, sometimes staff are attentive, sometimes they just seem to be lost. Just observing them because we frequent the place.
5 out 5.
If you are from the south im sure you've tried this place before if not better head down to presidents avenue.
Food taste : 10 out of 10
Price of food : 10 out of 10
If you are dinning in might as well just order 1/2 liempo and 2 extra rice than ordering the meal it self.
Gave a 5 ⭐ for their liempo! Everytime we have an occassion, bday, xmas, office event, etc. We make sure to order liempo in Ramboy's. We especially love how the pork skin is so crunchy even if it's grilled. It's also very tasty. Very different from the usual grilled liempo we buy.
I love the liempo here, I would've given a 5 rating for the liempo but sometimes the liempo is bordering on sunog, to the point of tasting bitter. I've maybe bought liempo to go here at least 8x. Of the 8x, 6 were just perfect while 2x tasted charred. Most recent purchase was two weeks ago and thankfully, it was perfectly done. I guess I should check the liempo they chop up instead of just ordering to go and not choosing the liempo myself. Lesson learned.
The place is supposed to be known for it's liempo, which is a bit unique because unlike most other liempo dishes, the Ramboy's version has a very crispy crackling skin. The meat is good and tasty, the star of this dish is the skin. I don't know how they season it but it not only has a really good crunch to it, it also has a whole lot of flavour.
Didn't appreciate their bulalo because the beef is not tender and didn't taste like bulalo after all. And their pancit is a bit bitter as well as their iced tea.
But the main highlight is their liempo. 👏👍🍽
After attending a funeral at the other end of the metro, the family had an impromptu lunch at my uncle's house. From experience, it is really difficult to accomodate a group of 23 adults (plus 2 kids) without a reservation or prior notice.
So we my cousins and I had different assignments to gather food from different establishments. My cousin, pamangkin and I went to Ramboy's for liempo and lechon manok. We got 4 orders of each and we didn't have to wait for too long. A big hungry crowd is never a good thing!!!👍🏻 This was added to the sinugba and veggies for a light lunch. The liempo was a hit-- simple and delicious. The lechon manok was also good but I prefer Andok's. It's pretty good for a quick takeaway!👍🏻
With only two branches in Metro Manila, Ramboy's Liempong Baboy and Inihaw na Manok are a favored potluck during office luncheons and impromptu house party. Apart from our favorite inihaw that starts with a B and ends with a G, we also get out Chicken or Liempo fix from Ramboy's. A couple of nights ago the family decided to have our dinner here. They serve Filipino favorites - we had their best selling Liempo and had it paired with Sinigang na Tanigue. The soup was served in a big bowl, the serving size is good enough for at least 4 or 5 people. Everything was great. I was expecting to go oit smelling like food but we did not. It delicious smell of roast was isolated at the front of house where all the magic of grilling happens. Service was quick and friendly too. Turnover of diners are fast given their small dining area. Parking is limited but you can park at their next door neighbor - Japan Surplus. Senior discounts honored.
Superb, and non-pretentious food. One of the best liempo me and my husband have ever tasted. We were looking for new finds along President’s and Ramboys did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!
