Going to Maty's is never not a good idea if you're craving for tapsilog. It simply is a classic of theirs. The serving of the tapa may look small on the pics, but it's really a lot in actual. The meat was lean, and I liked the hint of sweetness in it. The bangsilog was good too.
The serving was fast, and the place was okay. The dishes were delicious and worth their price. Overall, would go back here again sometime soon for some good ol' tapsi.
The best BBQ by far. I’ve been eating this BBQ since I was little. It still carries the same taste and quality. Aside from the BBQ you should try the tapa and the fried rice.
Still the best tapsilog in the South. If you're maarte and don't like eating in carenderia, this place is probably not for you. But if you're after the taste and quality of food, Maty's is a must try, I'd recommend going to their original branch - the one further down if you're coming from St Paul/ St Andrew's.
I’m from the South but this was my first time in Maty’s!!! 😂🤭 Well, it’s true that it’s one of the best tapsilog! I love the tenderness and how the tapa was marinated! Their tapsilog is only 89 pesos which is cheaper from other famous tapsihan. 😬
Price is reasonably if you want to eat somewhere simple but good. Ambience is very simple, you may have to share a table if it gets too full. Please do note that it’s not aircon and is open air since it’s by the road. I always order their famous tapsilog ₽80 and a side order of their bbq ₽20 / stick. There’s also atsara that you can order on the side.
Go here for the food not for the ambience.
There’s no carparking. Best to go here by foot, tricycle or motorcycle.
A bit disappointed to their Tapsilog, not because of the taste, but because of the serving. Good Food! Try their BBQ silog! Affordable and Tasty 😊👍🏻
One of the oldest and affordable tapsilogan in town. The beef used is soft and perfectly seasoned. You will also like the barbecue dishes included in the menu.
