We came a bit late from an appointment at past 2 pm but thier staff and manong guard still accommodated us. Very professional and friendly staffs!

Ramen Kuroda has been around for 5 years here in the country and now has 19 stores and counting. This store in BF Homes, Parañaque started it all. I just love Ramen Kuroda. There’s something about its Ramen that I liked. Its thin textured noodles, the broth, its meat, not to mention it’s price. For only Php180, you get a decent Ramen already that’s authentic Japanese. That’s why I frequent this place and I’m lucky since there’s one at RCBC Plaza where my office is locate.

Ramen Kuroda has been in the industry competing with big names in the ramen space for quite a time, and their secret sauce? Affordability and great taste.
(F)OOD:
Though their ramen is at the front and center of their store's menu, they also offer sashimi, tempura and other rice dishes but during this visit, we were presented their yummy ramen.
Shiro Ramen - their white and basic ramen. I think this is more of a tonkotsu broth because the broth was rich and a little fatty
Kuro Ramen - this is their black ramen with the Garlic flavor but with the same tonkotsu-based broth.
Aka Ramen - This is their mild spicy flavor with their spicy shrimp paste-like flavor. Love this variant because it's a more challenging and flavorful ramen.
Bari Kara - this is an extremely spicy ramen and not for the faint of heart. If you are up for an extra challenge, then this one is for you.
The noodles in these ramens are firm and the serving size is big and seems right for two persons or for a hungry individual.
We were also able to try their new ramen, the Curry Ramen. The noodles and broth of this curry ramen is thicker compared to other ramens. The flavor is on the spicy side and should be eaten while it's hot or else the sauce gets even thicker.
(A)MBIENCE:
This is the first branch of Ramen Kuroda so I am thinking that this store will be the same feel compared to other branches. I have already tried 4 other branches but this store has the authentic Japanese feels. From the window curtains at the store front and the Japanese accents inside the store. They also have rooms if you need a more private space.
(B)UTLER SERVICE:
The servers were friendly and provided our orders and requests on time.
Their ramen just had the right flavor, the noodles were cooked firm. Chicken karaage was also good!👌🏼
Got to visit the first branch of my go-to Ramen place in BF Homes. Their reasonable price makes them one of the best. And that’s Ramen Kuroda. This is how the storefront looks like. . Parking was packed at lunchtime. We went there 5 minute earlier before they open so there wasn’t any crowd.
It's worth the wait. Before, we always end up looking for another place as there was always a long line to get in. This time, since we are not so hungry, we decided to wait. And... Loved their Ramen! It's so tasty you can finish the whole bowl in few minutes. Staffs are attentive to orders too. This will be one of our fave Ramen on the list.
Went to my all-time favorite ramen house inside BF Homes Parañaque, got a chance to taste all their best sellers and their newest curry flavor (they will offer this soon! Abang-abang Southies! ). My personal choice is their Aka Ramen 🍜, saktong spice, firm noodles and so flavorful. ISA PANG BOWL PLS!!

If there was a ground zero of quality affordable ramen it has to be Ramen Kuroda in BF Pque. BF Pque. the cradle of superb mom and pop restaurants that eventually become behemoths in the business (See Conti’s, Mama Lou’s etc.), helped incubate what has to be the best value for Money Ramen Bar out there. One can only wonder how they can serve bowls of Shiro and Kuro Ramen which to the untrained palate could taste like liquified pork with noodles at a bargain price. If Ramen Bars like boxing has a pound for pound ranking factoring in price and quality, Ramen Kuroda BF has to to be at the top of that list. This is one of life’s mysteries that’s best left unsolved and just best enjoyed.
Food was great. I enjoyed every bit of it, but the day we visited the restaurant was quite crowded. But still we enjoyed it.
Ramen Kuroda has always been one of my top choices when it comes to authentic affordable ramen. I have eaten in their branches in malls but this is my first time visiting their first branch – BF homes.
We ordered their bestsellers – (1) Kuro Ramen - Garlic flavor , (2) Aka Ramen - Mild Spicy Flavor, (3) Shiro Ramen - Basic Ramen, and (4) Bari Kara - Pure Spicy Ramen.
Out of the four, the ones that stood out was the AKA Ramen and KURO Ramen. These two will be my top recommend whenever I think about Ramen Kuroda.
We were also able to try their new ramen — Curry Ramen. Unlike the others, the noodles and broth of this curry ramen is a lot thicker. The flavor is more on the mild spicy side. Oh, the selling point of this ramen is the thick cheese on top 😁
