The curry was delicious. I have also tried their ramen and it was one of the best Ive tasted so far from a japanese restaurant. The food is a bit pricey but the amount of serving and taste is worth the money.
Tastes like really authentic japanese food to me. Pricey dishes, but then authentic japanese food IS pricey. Love their crazy salmon.
Less than a minute away from home we can arrive at a long stretch of road sprawling with foodie gems. We tried our chances with this place with our family. Other than their ordinary Japanese cuisine items I saw some notable ones under the Maki Fusion category.
I think it was the Ojousama Special makis had me surprised cause of its combination of tempura and salmon in a sushi roll! A match that I totally approve. It was a good comeback after being served a very tough as a brick Pork Yakitori.
The fried chicken was a fan favorite of my family members. It was or I go inteded for our little nephew but we soon ordered another helping for sharing.
The Beef Sukiyaki was a good finisher cause of its tasty broth and the veggie and beef combination.
A good option for those looking for a dinner destination for families or friends. You will be sure to find you fancy in their menu.
We regularly eat here, it’s a good Japanese restaurant. Its a bit over priced considering it is around better living area. Also, the staff has improved.
Best authentic japanese resto in the better living area... a bit pricey but quality is worth it. Their gyudon is really good and the serving is big. Their chicken and squid kaarage dishes are also recommended...

I'm a regular at this restaurant, but only just posting my review now, most probably because I always end up diving in before I can even take pictures. LOL
First of all, the ambiance for me is just okay. It looks more like a fastfood restaurant design wise, rather than a more mid-range/upscale Japanese resto.
The servers were attentive and the service was fast. The food presentation could use some improvements, but the food was absolutely delicious! I know a lot of people these days put a lot of importance in presentation, or whether a meal looks instagram worthy, but I happen to put a lot more importance into how the food actually tastes.
Our favorites are their Charsyu Ramen, Ebi Tempura, Sashimi, Gyoza, and Beef Teppan. Food is served hot and the Ramen is served with just the right flavor. The Ebi Tempura makes me feels like I'm biting into a freshly caught Tiger Prawn. I'm saying like straight out of the sea into a deep fryer and into my mouth kind of freshness. It has the perfect shrimp and breading ratio. I couldn't ask for more!
Our average meal here consists of Ramen, my ever fave Ebi Tempura, Sashimi, and probably 1 or 2 more sides. This comes up to about 1500-2000 php on average.
I am definitely still a fan of this place, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Japanese restaurant in the area.
My neighborhood go-to for my crunchy salmon salad fix. ❤ The yakisoba, ebi tempura and crazy salmon roll are great too. :) The fact that they deliver (and food is packed nicely) garners plus points.
The first legit japanese resto in Better Living. Not really that expensive but the prices are a little higher compared to Nihonbashitei. The overall food quality is better too, which I kinda figured after tasting the free miso soup. You know the food is fantastic if they dont take anything for granted.
So far the best resto in Better Living.
Love this place and i keep on coming back for their maki!!
For tonight we're having the Dream and the salmon maki. The Dream has salmon , crab meat and cream cheese then deep fried and well it goes straight to your mouth. Also dont miss out on their chicken karage its good for 2.. well in my case good for 1!
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Their Gyudon is the best for me! It's much better than Yosinoya (now, my second favorite Gyudon). Big servings! My second time to eat in their restaurant and for sure i'll be back again!
