I agree with Jackie, the food is simply great and lovely balanced, excellent service, great environment. There are a lot of "all you can eat" restaurants, if these restaurants are your favorite, then Kappou Imamura is not for you. This is fine dining, so expect very fine and special/new taste. By far the best Japanese restaurant I have found so far, not only in the Philippines. :)

Sad that another review here gave a really low rating merely because of serving size. Honestly Kappou Imamura is not for you if you just want to be filled, however it is the perfect spot if you want to taste fine and artful masterpieces of food. Yes, it is quite pricey to eat here, but that should already be expected knowing that this is a fine dining restaurant. Though personally it was worth every penny we spent. Chef Imamura very carefully made every aspect of his dishes delightful. The aesthetics, aroma, textures, temperature, and of course the taste were all taken into consideration in each dish using the freshest ingredients. Everything was just perfect.
I would also like to mention the great service they have at Kappou Imamura. All the servers were very courteous, and always all-smiles at their customers. They gave great suggestions as to what dishes are the best to try, and the different ways of how to eat the dishes for the best food experience (especially for first-timers). My stay here is definitely one that I will never forget. I'll be looking forward to my next visit and how Chef Imamura's food will surprise me once again.
