My parents always love to eat here and now I understand why. They have very tasty sinigang!!!! Love their liempo and garlic rice. Very affordable.

Love the Tapa and Pancit Malabon. Cheap but so good. Perfect for a casual lunch, breakfast or dinner! H
We were craving for some lutong bahay. So we ordered this for dinner:
Binagoongan na baboy - Crispy pork on a bagoong sauce, while the bagoong was not really distinguishable it was good although it's a bit on the sweet side.
Sinigang na baboy - The pork itself was pretty hard but the broth of the soup was really good.
Shanghai with rice - the shanghai was also good a nice crispy lumpia batter on the outside
Pancit malabon - The noodles was nice and springy, while the shrimp sauce was also very tasty even better with a bit of calamansi.
If you want good ready to go lutong bahay for an affordable price, they definitely fit the bill.
Their Pancit Malabon tastes better than the other pancit place that is more famous but has less toppings. This has been our constant take out place whenever we bring Pancit Malabon in potlucks. Don’t forget to try their dinuguan too. One of the best.

Love their timeless Pancit Malabon! A genuine Malabon taste! It is a must have for my Mom’s birthday. I grew up with their Malabon present in every handaan at home.
I sooo love this place. Simple yet delicious lutong-bahay that is good in the pocket. Whenever I crave for Pancit Malabon, this is my default place to have it - saucy and tasty!!
We were checking on budget friendly places in the Barangay BF Homes Area and a lot of places popped up, including Lola Idang's then mom added the word "ambiance", then only two places popped up, 1898 Heritage Bistro at President's Grove, Tahanan Village and Lola Idang's. We haven't really dined at Lola Idang's for the longest time already. We usually send someone to order takeout or my sister-in-law asks someone to deliver food to their home. Since 1898 Heritage Bistro is one of our favourites already in the area, we decided to have lunch at Lola Idang's. Mom thought dad and I were just joking when we said we were going to eat there, because she said it couldn't be true. The "ambiance" factor, she means. Both dad and I were able to go there during weekdays and we definitely saw and felt the "ambiance" factor and found everyone nice. Everyone was still nice, but unfortunately, since today is a Sunday and there are lots of customers(because there is value for money, among other reasons), they seem to have forgotten one of our orders, the miki bihon. The laman was missing from the kare-kare and the puto didn't taste the same. Anyways, we forgive them, because they are good people and the food is good too. One can't be perfect all the time. Maybe it'll take a while before we dine in again, but we would definitely order to go or have someone deliver food to our doorsteps in the mean time. (My review is only applicable TODAY...alangan namang mambola ako eh sa ganoon talaga ang nangyari...pero hayaan niyo, hindi naman kami nadadala. All the best!) Photos? I already posted them before writing this.
Pancit malabon is perfect at Lola Idang. We usually order here in every occasion. I bet this one beats Ambers when it comes to malabon. Tamang timpla, sobrang sarap
Lutong-bahay is real in this restaurant. I love their sinigang and lechon kawali. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. They also sell native products from different regions of our country. The crew were also nice.
Crispy Pata - 9/10
Pancit Malabon - 10/10
Lumpiang Shanghai - 9/10
It was awesome and they serve a generous amount of food for a very reasonable price. The crews are attentive and the ambiance was great.
Will I be back? - Absolutely! 🐷
