One of the best Filipino restaurants in Manila. Great food, abundant serving portions, and good value for money. Food quality is consistent in all the branches that I tried.

I have been to this Abe branch for three times already and I can say the quality of their food and service is always consistent. I have never been disappointed with any of their dishes. My favorite dish which we always order is the boneless bangus sinigang with ripe guava. It is so good! We always finish it.

We ordered the Manyamang beef asado for the first time. The beef was so tender and the sauce was the right blend of spices.

We will certainly come back when we crave for Filipino dishes.

Stylish and reliable food, which is always a good thing for birthday celebrations. The guava sinigang na bangus was tasty, but the soup somewhat too dense. Good caldereta, and equally good sisig.

The staff sang 'Maligayang Bati' and brought out a Maja Blanca cake with pinipig. Not bad.

We ate after watching at The Theatre and the food was great. The staff were nice despite that we ate there late at night, and the service was quick.

Been a while since I’ve been to an Abe and it was my first time at this branch. We ordered lamb adobo, gising gising and gambas. Food was alright but does not seem at par to quality to past visits at other branches.

We ate here right before the concert of Jose Mari Chan. Since this was the nearest retaurant in the theatre most people would eat here thus when we got here there was a waiting list already. Luckily we were 3rd in line and ordered our food in advance. Food is good but kinda pricey but its okay! :)

Mais Con Hielo:
We started off with this, and everything expected of a Mais Con Hielo was there. I enjoyed drinking the milk afterwards!

Gule Magalang (vegetables with squash):
With all the vegetables we've ordered, this would be 3rd place in my list. It's probably because I have squash more often than the other choices.

Paco Fern & Tomato Salad:
I'm a salted egg addict lately and the ferns were cold, refreshing, and a good diversion from commonly-ordered salads everywhere.

Laing with Tinapa (gabi leaves, coconut milk, smoked fish flavor):
This was my favorite dish for our last visit. Coconut flavor is LIFE and I was the one who finished this dish too! :)

Sinigang na Boneless Bangus Fillet with Ripe Guava:
SUPER GOOD as always! I have only good things to say about this soup dish for sharing. The scent of the guava was as refreshing as the flavor when tasted. Quantity of fish was pretty fair and I only spotted one small fish bone. That could be a good or bad thing but, for me, it was good. Just eat carefully.

Crispy Tadyang (marinated deep-fried beef ribs):
The crispy texture was very interesting but I wasn't so into it after awhile because it was a bit dry. It could be intentional since it came with atsara and vinegar, but I seldomly add those to my food.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the staff of this branch for the excellent singing at our table. I loved the energy and was truly surprised!

Sinantol na Hipon is crazy good. Tasted legit, just like my friend's version.

Their Kare Kare is on the 'creamy' side. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the meat is very tender. The serving's so generous. I like their bagoong. Very 'Home made', not the bottled ones that's too sweet.

And then there's Ube Sinigang. The sourness and thickness of the broth is perfect, just the way i liked it.

All are reasonably priced. The staffs are attentive and polite.

Will definitely comeback and try other dishes.

They serve authentic Filipino food. A great way for balikbayans to reminisce their culture when they get home. Well, every Filipino restaurant has their own version on how they cook a dish, but Abe is one of the restos in Manila that shows authenticity in their cooking. Without fusion or add-ons.

There were so many waiting people when we went here, perhaps this is where most of the musical goers decided to eat too. After more than 30 minutes of waiting, the manager called us out and we were seated. The waiter who took our order is very lively even though he's probably tired because there were seriously lots of people. He automatically gave us water and after 15 minutes he went back to inform us that he already followed up our order. We're glad he did it and we didn't have to ask. 5 more minutes and he came with our rice, Suam of Fresh Corn soup, Crispy Tadyang, and Fried Shrimp Binondo.

The soup's serving size is small and I think it's just for one. It can be enough for two if you'll just use the soup to pour some on the rice. Their crispy tadyang is really cooked crispy while maintaining the tenderness of the meat! Their fried shrimp is very tasty as well. We thought that we really ordered the right food for the night.

Ambiance of this AbΓ© branch is okay. There are lots of people but they manage to make ample space when they reorganize the tables to seat the next customers.

Great value for money as the ambiance, the food and the staffs are excellent. Having hosted a party for a group of 20 pax, the restaurant agreed to my request to use their function room at the second floor with no extra cost. They even sang a birthday song for my daughter. I will recommend this place to all of my friends.

We had a chance to try this place just about we were to watch The Lion King. We've ordered kare kare, sisig and sauteed squid together with Kamias shake as drinks. A large servings of kare kare arrived our table several minutes after we placed our orders. Few minutes later, sisig, squid and drinks were served too. The 3 dishes I've tasted so well. They're all flavorful. Love it and will definitely go back.

Ordered Pork Binagoongan, Pork Sinigang, Kalabasa (not sure of the exact name) and Laing and they were okay. But I must commend their Kalabasa dish as it was the best among all the food we ordered. With regards to the Sinigang, we ordered 2 and the taste differed from the each of the two dishes (first was sweet, second was salty).

Overall:

Been a fan of LJC's group of company. I've tried Lorenzo's way in BGC and it was a hit for my family, so we've decided to go triy Abe in Solaire since we are checked-in.

Abe is a Filipino restaurant with Kapangpangan touch on it (yey proud!). Some of the dishes are good for sharing and prices are fair. Their must try? I recommend the Crispy Pata (of course), Chicharong Bulaklak, Spicy Sisig Pampanga and Balo Balo! Note that this is only my recommendation, you are welcome to try their other dishes as we've been here thrice and they never fail to amaze me with their authenticity and sticking it up to their Kapampangan tongue.

Let's rate them shall we?

This Abe outlet is located at the not-so visited area of Solaire. It takes quite a walk to get there from the main entrance of the hotel/casino but a few steps away if you're coming from the parking lot.

The food is really good though, and you definitely get the value for your money. It has a very comforting atmosphere, especially once you get a taste of Filipino food that you grew up with. 😊

Must try's are the Humba, the Lechon Cubano and the Binukadkad na Pla Pla. 😊

Before watching "West Side Story" at The Theatre nearby, we decided to try out the newly opened Abe Restaurant along The Shoppes row. They have a beautiful but small floor space. Since it was a show night, the restaurant filled up quickly at around 6:30pm. We were seated at the second floor. It was clean and the temperature was just right. They also have private dining spaces with a good view of the hallway below.

We ordered the following: Sigarilyas sa Gata - crisp and deliciously simmered "sigarilyas" or winged beans on coconut milk. Chopped string beans was also thrown into the mix. Creamy and hot, make way for more white rice please!

Crispy Shrimps - "nilasing" way of cooking the shrimps. Crispy and spiced nicely - make sure to eat as soon as it is placed on the table. You eat everything, nothing goes to waste with this dish.

Pako Salad - fern with tomatoes, red onions and salted egg drizzled with a light vinegar dressing. A refreshing appetizing.

Service was very friendly, although it took them a bit of time before they served our food. Other tables were already eating. Good thing our assigned waiter was all hands in following up and making sure all our needs are attended. After the show, we passed by the resto going to the carpark, he recognized us and smiled, we waved back and said our "hellos" A very nice gesture! We will surely eat at Abe again if we are in the property to watch a show.

We went here for our friend's birthday celebration. At first I was scared to try some of the foods because there were some unfamliar names. But thank God I did try it. The Kare Kare, Pinakbet, Kaldereta, Inihaw na Liempo, Sugpo sa Gata, and Lamb Adobo were awesome. My favorites were the Crispy Tadyang and Bamboo Rice. I couldn't stop eating it. It was wonderful. The staffs were very polite and the service was nice. And the place? Super clean. I recommended this restaurant to my family and friends. I will definitely dine here again. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
