The food was great but zomato gold not accepted.
This is our family’s go-to-place for lunch after mass here in SM Bicutan. Calamares was superb! Lumpiang shanghai is our favorite. Pork sisig and squid was excellent! We even ordered halo halo :)
And we thought we wld never go back to this place because of that very bad experience before with their two new staff, but i guess we just love the food too much so today we took a chance and went back. And boy we are so glad we came today. Our favorite crew is back - cheers to Mon and Eric who are always extra nice. PLUS the food ... Sisig, chili cheese sticks and the crunchy squidheads still the best.
My family prepared an early celebration for my grandmother. So we ate out at Gerry's Grill in SM Bicutan after we had an overnight stay for a day from a resort. The food was so good. I couldn't get enough of their chicken kebab, lol. So smooth and the flavor was heaven, my goodness! Though, I didn't took any pictures since i ate immediately and i was so hungry but next time, lol. Hope to come for more! (But in a different branch)

My brother and my hubby always always suggests Gerry’s Grill wherever we go may it be outside metro manila or within the metro if they had their way, we’d dine here everyday. I couldn’t fault them but of course I had my share of violent refusals a lot or most of the time (specially when I’m wanting to eat something different for a change).
My faves are their sisig (with extra egg, no onion) and their grilled squid. All their dishes are good, we have yet to order something from their menu that we don’t particularly like.
Best for couples (like hubby and me) and big groups. Price is just right and it’s a place to go to when you’re just too tired of fastfoods already.
Update 1/25/20: new found fave — Ensaladang Itlog na Maalat!
The food's great but their serving's just too small. But they've always got a great place and the ambiance is pretty relaxed. But their waiters need to work on how to deal better with customers.
Nicely renovated. Service was good eventhough they were full during dinnertime. We ordered Sisig, Kare-kare and Lumpiang Shanghai. Loved their Lumpiang Shanghai - always a kid's favorite, my daughter and nieces finished it all. Had Leche Flan for dessert, smooth texture, a bit too sweet on the syrup. Okay to share since watching my sugar intake.
Their food is really Great, especially the belly tuna. I think that was the best belly tuna I've tasted in my whole existence. Their staffs are really approachable. The ambiance is just an average but still a good one. Give this a try, you'll like it. 😉
I had a chance to go back to Gerry's Grill after sometime during the recent #zomatoph foodcrawl at SM City Bicutan. Gerry's Grill is one chowdown always on my mind because of its great food selection. There is always something for kids and adults to enjoy biting into.
We were serve Kamote Chips as appetizer. It had bits of cherry and mango that makes it sweet. It tasted like biting into banana chips since wasn't crunchy at all. Anyways, I still love their pork sisig, crispy pata plus Bangus ala Pobre. All were crispy and tasted heavenly.
We were also served Grilled Squid. It was done perfectly right. It came with soy sauce for dipping. Their grilled and deep-fried food offerings are great as beer-mates for feeding a hungry brood for lunch!
They have a good, clean interior unlike most Gerry's Grill branches. They have recently had a renovation which gave it a modern feel. But they still retain that Bar-Grill vibe with the use of dark colors. The place has high ceilings and the temperature was just right.
The appetizer was a plateful of Kamote Chips topped with chili sauce. I was not thrilled by this, it was like store bought chips like the ones you see in pasalubong centers in the province. It was hardly any crunch to the chips. The addition of chili sauce did not help either. Their pork sisig as usual, was salty good, since their was no rice served I can only imagine how heavenly it would go down with a steaming spoonful of white rice. The sisig was crunchy and oily at the same time. The Crispy Pata was the centerpiece of the table. It was deep fried to a crisp while the soft pata meat is delicious. To those watching their health, if it helps at all, try to scrape off the 'laway' or the fat between the skin and meat. I like the Sizzling Bangus, it was deep fried Boneless Bangus topped with sliced vegetables. The Grilled Squid was soft and not gummy. Dip it a bit of soy and calamansi for added flavor.
Service was quick. Disclaimer: I did not pay for my food. It was sponsored by SM City Bicutan for a Zomato Food Crawl.
Was part of the latest Zomato Sm Bicutan good crawl,Gerry's is one of the restaurants to be reviewed, the newly renovated Gerry's gave us this vibrant ambiance. They served their flagship dish the crispy pata, then the inihaw na bangus, inihaw na pusit, their version of sisig and as starter the kamote chips. My favorite on the dishes served were the crispy pata, inihaw na pusit and the kamote chips. The crispy pata besides it's crunchiness have this distinct taste there's a subtle cinnamony taste. The squid tenderness is spot on and the flavor is fresh. The kamote chips is very interesting they were drizzled with these sweet spicy mango bits syrup.
This place is also my emergency food stop whenever we have unexpected visitors or too lazy to cook a Kare Kare takeout comes in handy.
My favorite among the list of restaurants we tried in the latest Zomato food crawl.
Thanks to Zomatoph ,Gerry's and SM Bicutan.
I opted for a delivery in the nearest Gerry's grill from our house in SM Bicutan. I got myself a Chicken Kebab, Grilled Tuna Belly and Sizzling Kangkong. All of them satisfied me especially with whatever secret sauce that they put that matches well with the garlic rice. Although the flavor hasn't changed but the delivery service needs improvement especially on a holiday. Expected people would take more orders and more than an hour and fifteen minutes and even more delivery time is not acceptable.
My family ate here during Mother's Day so the place was packed and there was a long waiting list. We were #14 on the list but we were able to sit after 20 minutes so it was not that bad after all.
This Gerry's Grill branch looks so much better than the other branches for it was newly renovated. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Food is always 💯
We ordered Kare-Kare, Sisig, Calamares, Pork Barbeque, Tuna Belly, Chicken Pandan and Pinakbet.
My favorite would have to be the Chicken Pandan! It's so so so so good!!!
For dessert, we ordered Thako and Toasted Ice Cream. Both were good, but i liked Thako better.
3rd stop in our SM Bicutan food crawl, With our tummies 35% full. Gerry's Grill welcomed us with joy. They served their specialty dishes and explains the beauty of the newly renovated restaurant.
Food: 4.0/5.0: typical filipino dishes, they allow us to taste the Bagoong rice, which has ample amount of toppings. The fried rice was good because the bagoong is not overpowering. Their kare kare was also good. Another good dish by Gerry's. Pork Sisig was a blast. Truly one of the best sisig in the country. As their grilled seafoods, I think that some are not that fresh and the grilled squid was just okay.
Service: 4.0/5.0- Fair service with a smile :)
Ambiance: 3.5/5.0 - although the restaurant was newly renovated and well designed. i see the presence of smoke at the ceiling, means they lack on exhaust Specially they are serving sizzling dishes, they must provide an exhaust. There is also a problem about the aircon setup. aircon must be directed upward, so the cold air will go down.
All in all, I really enjoyed dinning at this restaurant. I will come back for sure. Thank you @zomatoph for inviting me in a food crawl at SM Bicutan

When it comes to traditional Filipino food for the family, Gerry's Grill is a go-to restaurant for majority of Pinoy families. My dad always prefers dining at Gerry's during birthdays or other occasions because, one, their menu's tried and tested and the servings are hefty. And when I learned that they were part of our food crawls' roster, I can't help but look forward to eating their Sizzling Sisig!
I was overwhelmed with the number of dishes they served (when it was supposed to be just 3)! Some observations I had: the Beef Kare-Kare was okay (not a big fan of kare-kare ever since) but I just noticed there were more vegetables than meat. The Crispy Pata meat was tender and savory, perfect when dipped in the soy sauce + vinegar mix. The Grilled Squid's cooked just right as the meat was easy to cut and chew and it's got that smokey grilled taste. My top picks would be their Sizzling Bangus ala Pobre (I love how it's perfectly fried! Yum!), Binagoongan Rice (the contrast of the saltiness of the rice and the tang of the strips of green mango were spot on! Party in your mouth! More chunks of pork, please!), and of course, the Sizzling Sisig (this never fails!)
Gerry's Grill's food consistency throughout the years is something they should be applauded about. Quality food great for sharing with family and friends.
(Part of the Zomato x SM Bicutan Food crawl last March 10, 2016)
Mention Gerry's Grill and people immediately think Sizzling Sisig (P199)! This is the standard by which most people judge sisig. Everybody has their own choice of condiments to add to the sisig before mixing the whole thing together. This is a must-order dish when at Gerry's Grill!
Aside from the sisig, one of the items that we always order whenever we're in Gerry's Grill is the Grilled Squid / Inihaw na Pusit (P355 for 500 grams).
The grilled squid is very tender, sweet and very flavorful with soy sauce, calamansi and that heavenly grilled/char smell.
Another dish usually ordered at Gerry's Grill is their Crispy Pata (P495 / P625). The pork leg meat is tender, but fried to a crackling crisp outside. You just pick off meat, dip it in the sauce and eat it! It's porky heaven, I don't know what else to say to make you understand the joy of crispy pata :D
Another standard order is their Beef Kare-Kare (P355). This is good, for P355 an order, can't expect any better. I only wish they put in more peanut flavors.
A new discovery was the Sizzling Bangus ala Pobre (P285). The bangus (milkfish) was boneless and crispy outside, tender inside. It was unexpectedly delicious for such a simple thing!
As for rice, we got to try the Binagoongan Rice (P185) and the Seafood Rice (P195). Both delivered as expected, everything was good. The Seafood Rice's flavor was mild but the rice still tasted of seafood.
Gerry's Grill's food has never disappointed me - it has become standard fare yet still manages to stay consistent in terms of quality. Gerry's Grill's prices also don't break the bank. However, I do suggest dining with a group of friends/relatives to fully appreciate the dishes since they are sized for sharing.
Got invited to Zomato's Food Crawl which included Gerry's Grill in SM Bicutan. As usual, my favorite is the crispy pata. It is meaty and the skin is also fried until very crispy. The grilled squid is also good, it is delicious and the squid is not tough. We also got to try the famous sizzling sisig.
The ambience at Gerry's Grill is very casual, just what you would expect from a casual grill restaurant, but the food is consistently good. Great place for get togethers with friends.

We went here last Saturday for Zomato's Food Crawl (yay! My very first official food crawl). They served us with all their bestsellers- Crispy Pata, Grilled Squid, Sizzling Oriental Garlic Seafood, Sisig, Beef Kare Kare (which was mostly vegetables and the sauce; couldn't find a single trace of beef), binagoongan rice, and Paella rice. My favorite dish for this feast was their oriental garlic seafood and crispy pata--tasted normal, but was good as what Filipino food is supposed to be! Their Crispy Pata had this unique taste that matched the traditional suka and toyo sauce. Good for gatherings and get togethers!
We checked out Gerry's Grill for Zomato X SM Bicutan Food Crawl. The restaurant is known for Filipino dishes and it is a quick go to place for get together and even grabbing beers. They are also known for their best selling pork sisig.
For today's event, we had their Beef karekare, Seaffod Rice, Inihaw na Pusit, Sizzling Sisig, Sizzling Bangus, Binagoongan Rice, Crispy Pataand their Sizzling Oriental Garlic Seafood. My favorites for today: Beef Karekare, Inihaw na Pusit, Binagoongan Rice and Crispy Pata. Check out my blog for a full review.
My personal rating for the restaurant:
Food: 3.5
Service: -
Place: 3.0
