The food is very good. The sashimi is fresh and moist, the tempura is fried to perfection and the sauce just gave enough flavor to the shrimp, the teriyaki chicken is tender, fully cooked but not burned.
The arrangement of the tables makes the place a little cramped but the crowd this place draws is quiet. We got there at 1:00 PM, and the place was full.
The dining area is very clean and so was the bathroom which was stocked well with the necessary sanitation items.
We asked if their ice water is filtered and the owner explained their filtration system to us, how they maintain it and told us that all water used in their food prepation is filtered.
It is very reasonably priced for the quality and taste of food, which they serve with the usual warm Filipino hospitality.
I wasnt expecting a place like this outside Makati, outside New York for that matter. We will definitely stop by this place everytime we travel from Los Banos to Antipolo. This is one place where you dont have to share your food with flies buzzing around like most restaurants along the road.
