A family favorite since my high school days in the 90s. Dining here brings a lot of memories and nostalgia. The food reminds me of yesteryears. Their menu is a value for money. Food quality is superb. The taste is awesome. Service is fast and corteous.
I love that they have money saving combos so that you can try a little of everything without spending much. I got the combo which had the pastrami sandwich, salad and puttanesca pasta. It came with a glass of iced tea too. Loved it. My son especially loved the Pork Back Ribs! My husband was also raving about his roast chicken sandwich.

Update: May 26, 2019. Had dinner at Almon Marina with family. Same nostalgic feel. Sandwiches are alot smaller in portions from what i remember, side of chips was also very small. Porkchop took more than 15 minutes to prepare, had to follow up. The filet mignon was sad looking. Asked for medium rare but it ask not served as requested. They also did not have steak knives. Price doesn't justify the overall experience.

One of the pioneer restaurants of Festival Mall, it shows on their dated interiors, tables and chairs. But looks perfectly fine to me, gives it that nostalgic feel. It is also nice that they have this semi open kitchen. You can peer the cooks prepare your sandwiches or rice meals. I ordered my childhood favorite everytime, the Roast Chicken with one side. They serve this with herbed tomato rice, and for the side, I asked for the Potato Salad. The salad was a little runny but tasted perfectly fine. The chicken though was rather small, what it lacked in size made up in flavor. It was fall of the bone soft. It had that smoky taste topped with more barbeque sauce. Good satisfying lunch but was a little 'bitin' for me. Go try the sandwiches. Recommended. The titas and titos of South Metro troop to this place. They charged for 'semi self service' set up. You pay up front before sitting down.
Lots of reasonably priced good choices in their menu which are mostly European and American.
The items under the Pastalicious Combination seem like a good deal ranging from 250-310 you can have a plate with sandwich or rice with pasta, salad, garlic bread.
For two, we ordered:
Club Breakfast: P175
-three layer sandwich with Schublig sausage, sliced eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and dressing on wheat bread
Tuna Cheese and Pineapple: P165
-tuna chunks with pineapple slices, cottage cheese and lettuce
Lite Sandwich, Pasta & Salad: P310
-roast chicken variant with bolognese pasta
The restaurant is modestly decorated, self-service and for me, a bit underrated as it had great choices in the menu. So-so on the pasta but great sandwiches we highly recommend. They got one of our orders wrong but it was a delicious mistake.
Definitely coming back for some healthy and hearty fix.
A long standing outlet in festival mall that had a renovation months ago, Almon Marina is a great place to have quality meals in the western cuisine when it comes to sandwiches and grilled food.
One thing to bear in mind though is that this restaurant adds a 5% service charge to your total order so expect the cost to be slightly higher than what you think it would be. Thankfully the meals offered are worth the increase along with their desserts that are splendid delights if you want a sweet ending to your meal.
That being said their meals are in the higher end of the price spectrum so I would suggest only eating there for special occasions or if you wanted to treat friends and/or loved ones to a good meal.
Overall you and your friends and family will enjoy a meal in Almon Marina with their delectable, if pricy, selection of western cuisine as long as you have some cash for service charges.
Comfort food at its finest! Love their salads, salmon lasagna, NY NY Sandwich, Sausage, Kebab and Roasted Chicken! Super worth it! Always a family staple after church!
Almon Marina was closed for renovation a few months ago and nothing much has changed-- they just did a makeover for a newer look-and-feel since it has been in Festival Mall for so many years now.
What we ordered are not in the menu here but those are combination meals. They consist of pasta in puttanesca sauce, submarine sandwich, sausage, garlic bread, and salad. Puttanesca is one of my favorites and I approve of Almond Marina's blend. For others it may seem anemic but it's fine for me. The sandwich bread is easy to chew and the lettuce and tomatoes are fresh. The ham is small though but their cheese is one of their restaurant's asset. Sausage is just right and a good match for their soft garlic bread. Salad is okay.
The staff treated us politely and a waiter even served and refilled our glasses of water without us asking. Service was fast too.
I treated my parents especially my mom who is into something healthy with sandwiches and ligjt meals. That's why I brought them to Almon marina. Easily this was one of my childhood comforting foods that offers great sandwiches and soup combos and their Lasagna that is packed with flavor thanks to the cheese! I'm glad they really have a branch in this mall at least to educate my parents in other great dining options.

AWhen you’re looking for a hearty meal with big servings, Almon Marina is indeed a good choice. I usually order their burger and fries with pasta (their burger is really juicy and the size is good), comes with a glass of iced tea. I always get their bolognese (meat sauce) but I think they also offer puttanesca and something else.
As seen on the attached photo, I ordered their fish, fries and pasta. Big serving of fish fillet and also their french fries are note worthy, just the right amount of crisp on the fries. Also comes with a glass of iced tea.
Most of the time, I order additional soup. Choices are Beef Minestrone or Chicken Chowder and sometimes depending on the branch, they offer other choices for their soup of the day.
Price is a bit higher than average but with the serving size, I think it’s well worth it.
