We tried to Eat here a few months back but it was filled to capacity. There was a long line at the self service counter and no seats available, fast forward to last Sunday and we finally had the chance to try Darwin Dimsum. Place was spotless, not much of an interiors except for the Hong Kong Skyline wallpaper on one side of the restaurant. We tried the Hello Kitty Shrimp Hakaw, the Wonton Noodles and the Bread Pork Chop with Pepper Sauce. The Pork Chop used is already a processed Cut of meat, no layer of fat. Just a chewy piece of meat, comparable to Chicken Nuggets or the Chicken Fillet of Mcdonalds. The sauce was good, Peppery with a strong salty flavor. The Soup was delicious. The Wonton Noodles was a bit expensive for the quality served. The Hakaw though was suprisingly delicious, hot with plump Shrimps inside. The Hello Kitty design was cute. Service was Great, there was no calamansi since Mom was asking for it. The waitress was kind enough to suggest a combination of Red vinegar and soy which we enjoyed. Recommended except for the faux Pork Chop. Senior discount honored.

wouldve been nicer if they had more offerings for a pescatarian like myself, but overall, i enjoyed every bite of it and their viands are not only mouth-wateringly scrupmtious but aesthetically pleasing as well. the mini HotPot was a steal at 188php that’s good for two- though it’s served w/ a cup of rice, that was enough for me and fajah to share, but you can order an extra cup of rice as the flavor of the raddish soup was devine and the content was a lil hefty. the Hello Kitty Hakaw was cute and good as well, your ordinary hakaw turned kawaii as they say. just a comment on the air conditioning, since lots of people dine her and gulps down boiling hot soup, might ne nice for you to pump up the settings for the AC.

I’d consider this Resturant my go to for a quick bite to eat. The Resturant is very simple yet great. The price points are unbelievable for the quality they serve. The food is traditional and simple. If your looking for a budget friendly and quick bite to eat with good Chinese food then this is it. They have a huge selection to pick from soups, rice dishes, dim sum and hot pot. The service is good to because you order first and pay then the waiters just bring your food or whatever you need.

Fantastic food! Waiters need a little more training. They steam the dimsum as the customers order... 2 tables occupied by staff doing paperwork and probably meeting. Our order sitting by the ledge off the kitchen, but noone paying attention to serve to us... simple decor, almost stark, which shows practicality...

Been to this place countless of times already and tried almost everything on the menu except for the milkteas. This place serves authentic Chinese food. Diners are mostly Chinese but I have seen a spike of Filipinos trying this place as well. Their food is suprisingly cheap compared to other Chinese restos in the area sometimes even compared to Chowking which is just a stone away from this place. They offer meals for as low as 98 pesos if I am not mistaken.

Cleanliness is what I like most in this place. Very well-lit and well-ventilated, they have enough room for big groups. Design is straightforward nothing fancy. 500 pesos goes a long way in this place and they are open until 1am, sometimes even past that.

Chinese cooks are very hands on, although we haven't seen them lately since Filipino cooks have already taken over. Quality of the food remained very good. Staff are always courteous and pleasant they know who the regulars are.

Darwin Dimsum has quite an enticing menu with the cute hello kitty custard buns and panda veggie buns. They have the usual chinese menu of congee, noodle soup and dimsum and has mini hotpot (for solo/personal consumption).
The price range is okay but relatively more expensive in comparison to others.
An order of beef wanton noodle soup is php250
- and the noodles arent even hand pulled
In terms of flavors, well I've had better. It's not bad but I wouldn't say its good either.

Was curious to try this place since it's new in the Alabang area. Their dimsum is really good especially the vermicelli shrimp roll and bean curd. The noodles were not that great and I don't recommend it. They have rice meals as well which aren't bad but not noteworthy either. Overall would come back for the dimsum. Specifically the shrimp roll.

I couldn’t believe they finally opened an outlet here 💃🏻💃🏻. I had a super time at their other branch where I first discovered this shop, and I had the same expectations when I visited this place.

The place is spacious, clean and spartan, but the menu with corresponding photos on the wall made up for the spartan interior. Pay as you order is their system which corresponds to a prompt service.

All dimsums is a must order! My group started with all the cartoon characters and the noodles. A word of caution on the curry, it was spicy. The clay pot we ordered with the mushrooms and chicken was bland. But other than that our group enjoyed our visit at this shop.

PS: please stock on Kalamansi, the red vinegar doesn’t go well with the noodles or the dimsums, and you don’t give liberally when we ask for the black vinegar.

Finally in Alabang! I love their dim sums! You’ll never go wrong with whatever you try. I love their noodles too with their thin noodles and tasty soup. I wish I can dine in and enjoy the hot food, nevertheless it hadn’t made it any less delish my take takeaway since the staff packed it well and segregated the soups from the noodles. Both were still warm when I sat down to eat. I just felt bad that they didn’t give me a black vinegar and that they don’t have kalamansi:/
