Kina Lola's Madrigal branch location may be a little tricky to locate. Located at the corner property inside a parking lot in the right side of Madrigal Business Park where Avida Alabang and B Hotel are located. Just go inside the pay parking area right after Meralco Bayad Center and go straight. They are at the very end. Kina Lola is an al fresco dining restaurant that can be hot during lunch times. I suggest having early breakfast or your midnight rendezvous here after drinking out with friends. We tried the American breakfast which comes with bacon, eggs and a couple of toast. 3 in 1 coffee is included. Nothing really special with this breakfast meal except for the good, slightly thick cut bacon. The Kare Kare Bagnet was good, made with real ground peanuts which made it extra special. The Crispy Pata was also good value for money. Thick, meaty and had good amount of crispy skin. The prices are someone what high for some items but justified by their sharing portions. Service was quick and friendly too. Recommended.
They have all your favourites (well not all of them but the basics) from the Philippines, I went for the non nonsense Igado with rice for main, and leche flan for dessert for my first visit. The leche flan was surprisingly light, like it’s supposed to be not that thick sweet concoction that has infiltrated menus over the last 20yrs or so.
Surprisingly, and perhaps unnecessary, you’ll also have a selection of western / european, Korea, Japan, and even the Indian sub-continent. it’s got a great breeze that comes through so perfect for afternoon / evening drinks I would imagine...
Just had our team breakfast here last Saturday morning. Glad to say we're all satisfied with the food, ambience and service. Will definitely come back. 😊
I tried the ramen and mango shake and we had two bottles after because we really enjoyed the place
