Max's offers different bundles every now and then and in this visit we ordered their Spicy Chicken Platter Bundle. It is good for 4 persons which includes a soup of your choice, 8 pieces chicken, one bowl of plain rice, 4 glasses of your chosen drinks, and 4 individual desserts also of your choice. It even includes a free plush toy and you can decide if you want the hen or the rooster!
We chose Seafood Binakol for the soup. It has a hint of sweetness and it contains shredded buko, shrimp, bangus, pusit, and some vegetables. We requested to have 4 pieces of regular chicken and 4 pieces of spicy chicken. Non-fans of spicy food can still enjoy Max's spicy chicken because the spiciness is tolerable. Their iced tea was almost tasteless because there were many ice cubes in the glass. For the dessert, we chose Caramel Bar Ice Cream over Buko Pandan. It is perfect for caramel lovers because there are plenty caramel bar bits and caramel syrup. For this bundle's price of P1300, it is already worth the cost.
Max's in Festival Mall easily gets occupied. Their place is kinda small but there are lots of tables and chairs so they need more airconditioning inside. The staff are somehow attentive but due to many customers, they forget things that we were asking for so we just had to follow up.
This branch is located near the Riverpark side, the newer portion of Festival Mall. Nice location since it’s a bit away from the mall crowd.
Food and service was ok.
Ordered my usual Chicken Sisig, Seafood Lomi and Fried Lumpiang Ubud.
Perfect for groups and for dining alone. They also have a bakery inside the restaurant offering cakes and sweets.
Max's chicken never fails me as always. Branch here in festival mall is like forever here. Food is always yummy. They also participated in unli chicken. That i havent tried it yet.
Hopefully soon
