Love their food specially the ~don menu's my co-workers and I love to eat here every time we are craving japanese food. Everything is good with an exemption, not sure what's with the hanger steak ^_^.
Solid ooma see you next sahod.
Really, really good food. Serving sizes look kinda small at first, but everything's actually quite satisfying. And delicious. Really attentive crew as well. I was surprised at first that our waiter wasn't writing our orders, so I was expecting that he might get something wrong, but lo and behold, he got everything right,
The best Hanger Steak! They have complimentary rice on all orders. 🙂
Great experience. Good food. Good people.
Ooma: a modern take on japanese cuisine
Cheese Katsu Curry Don
I love the spice from the curry mixed with the mozarella cheese and crispy pork katsu surrounded by soft potatoes and sweet scallions.
O-Gyoza
This is a modern and cheesy twist on gyoza though I missed the crispy side of a traditional gyoza and its gingery sauce as compared to the unagi sauce which was sour; it’s very meaty and my brother gave this the “best gyoza” award.
Ebi Tempura Maki
I wish the tempura was crispier and the mayo had a milder kick of acid. It’s my brother’s pick among the bunch.
Truffled Steak Aburi Maki
There is something about this that I cannot put into words. Maybe it’s my tongue which cannot comprehend the complexity of such flavors (this calls for more exploration of food!!!) though the steak with its smoky flavor was a unique experience.
Salmon Skin Aburi Maki
This was such a combination of elements though I didn’t taste the usual taste of salmon that I know. The crispy bits adds dimension to the dish.
Spicy Tuna Maki
The kick of spice that is just right with the freshness of tuna blends together nicely.
Overall, it was such a tummy-filling experience love it!
We dined during lunch time so we waited around 5 minutes to be seated.Tried the aburi sampler, cheese katsu curry and chicken teriyaki..Everything was good!
This place is a great place for sushi. I love the sushi here and I love the presentation of all the food.
Food was good although it is not remarkable. I love the gyoza. Staff are excellent!
Value for money. They staff are all very accommodating and friendly. Tempura and crowd favorite is a must try.
i just want to express my experience in ooma since my friends keep telling me to try their new menu
i was really amazed because it's not a typical japanese cuisine, kudos to all servers who always smiles and attends to us immediately, i was very thankful to my friend who pushes me to try with coz it was a nice experience then.
Japanese is something i really love.
It says alot about my choice of food lately. Good food is served here. Waiting time was really long. Place was packed that time so we gave it a chance. Our order came one after the other. The meat seemed a bit cold to my taste as well.
The servers are all busy and we were patient in waiting the food rather than complaining to the servers.
Would come back here soon.
nice environment👍 the tofu got a little bit late to served but the server always inform us about the status. very good.
I have only tried here once when I was with my bestfriend’s family and all I can say is, this is a resto that you will definitely keep coming back for more!! We hve a lot of orders because we are a big crowd. I can’t enumerate them all but I ordered for myself their baked salmon gratin!!! Definitely something you would order again!! Melts in your mouth!! My bestfriend ordered their hanger steak—really delicious and if you’re a fan of truffle oil you would love this one. We ordered about 2 sets of maki(each set consists of 4 different types of maki 3 per piece) We also ordered ebi tempura—really huge portions of shrimp!! Will definitely come back. Didn’t take a photo of the food because my friend’s family aren’t fond of taking photos in restos. Haha but next time I will when I get back!
This is the first restaurant review for me. I got inspired by the Salmon Tataki. Staff was very patient in assisting us since we had a 94 year old and a 9 month old. Salmon tataki was addicting, really special, I can eat 2
orders of it. The chicken teriyaki was also unexpectedly good and unique! It was so light, with bright acidity that compliments the grilled chicken. What a nice surprise. We devoured the hanger steak, ordered 1 well done and one medium. Still thinking about the salmon tataki..
We ordered the steak and salmon skin aburi makis, buta kakuni, tori kara-age, and ebi tempura. Everything was delicious and served promptly but I must say that the steak and salmon makis stood out the most. Both are definite must-orders and you would be wrong not to get them.when you visit.
For our Friday lunch, we have been eyeing this new Ooma branch neat our office. And we were delighted that its now opened. We got 3 dishes: hanger steak, buta kakuni or pork belly and mixed torched sushi. The hanger steak was a bit salty but you can taste the truffle. And its pumpkin puree is really good and counteracts the saltiness. Its quite different when i tried it in their Megamall branch. The torched sushi and prok belly was both excellent. The pork belly was crisp but soft. The sushi’s flavors were all very good. The crew was also very helpful. The atmosphere was good. We sat in a round table which was spacious. This is my 2nd time in Ooma and i bet there will be more visits.
When we visited here, the placed was packed for dinner. However, the staffs were able to keep up and did provide an incredible service! Loved their makis. 😍
(Didn't try all the sushi we ordered so I just have pics)
Scallop & Tuna Aburi Maki - Definitely looked better and tastier on the menu. It was pretty good, satisfying, but not what I expected
Hanger Steak - very tender. I love the truffle oil scent it gives off. I usually hate sweet potatoes, but I loooove how I couldn't taste it in the mash. Completely blocked off that taste i can't take. I just feel like this dish would be too much. It's too savory to the point that it's "nakakaumay"
Tori kara-age - we originally ordered the corn kakiage but the server apparently took down the wrong order so we were served the tori. We didn't bother having it sent back though bc we tried it and it was pretty good. I love the crunch. I just feel like there's too much of it surrounding the chicken so it's difficult to eat. A very good take to the standard chicken karaage, though
Service - slow. Very slow to the point where we were all just hoping all the servers w food were holding ours already
Celebrated my son's graduation here because he likes Japanese food. My brother in law loved the hanger steak. It was so good. The tempura is affordable for its serving (7 pcs). All the food that we ordered were all tasty. We will definitely come back soon.

And kahit sa Alabang, i also eat at Ooma sometimes because it really is good and very affordable. Steak and oyster aburi is really good and of course their sushi. It amuses me how consistent they are and there was never a time that I was disappointed in my dining here. Thank God. Kudos Moment Group.
It was already past 9pm and we were looking for somewhere to have some late dinner. Checked Zomato and saw that Ooma’s open till 10pm. We were hesitant since we’re worried that they already had their last call for orders. They welcomed us and we were happy to see that they are open until 11pm so more time for us to dine.
Hubby and I each had rice bowls. His was the gyudon while I had the oyako don. Both were yummy! I personally loved the sauce, I can eat the rice just with the sauce, so good! Gyudon was also good, it was quite interesting since they have chunks of beef as opposed to the thin strips some versions have. A bowl I guess can be shared but since both of us was too hungry already, we were able to finish each bowl but we got too full afterwards.
As appetizers, I ordered the Fried Young Corn. I loved it but hubby was not a fan. The young corn were a bit “not too young” since they were a bit though already but the sauce and toppings made up for it.
We had Chicken Teriyaki ala carte and this one was really nice and tender. Not too sweet like the ones usually served in other Japanese restaurants.
Overall, happy with this branch and will definitely go back.
The branch has a shared space with Manam, their sister company.
Finally! Afters weeks of trying to eat here, we finally had a chance of tasting the food here.
Tried the Crowd favorites sampler. Which is composed of :
Spicy Tuna Maki
Steak Aburi
Ebi Tempura Maki (?) forgot the name but delicious
Salmon Skin Aburi Maki
Ebi Tempura Platter ( Bang for the buck BTW)
Wifey got the Buta Nikku Katsudon ( Heavenly of you a Tonkatsu lover) 👌🏼
Rating of Food: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Staff: 5/5
Perfect lunch for us. Keep it up!!
Really enjoyed the new twists for Japanese cuisine. 👌🏼🔥😁
I have always wanted to try Ooma in Megamall but never really had the chance. Now they’re finally here in the south, wouldn’t miss it for the world. We ordered the crowd favorite. Everything in the platter was good but the one flavor that really stood out was the steak aburi maki. The sweetness of the truffled steak compliments the whole dish perfectly. We even ordered another one to go. Quick service. Friendly staff.
After years of this being open, I finally got to try this one out! Yes they have multiple branches out there. They even have this Ooma Sushi Bar which purely serves sushi and maki. And I can’t figure out why I was late on trying one. Haha. Better late than never!. I wasn’t able to take photos of their interiors much. Maybe because their space is sharing with that of Manam’s. In terms of creative control, it might have been divided. Still, they were able to infuse that Japanese flair in. The seats are limited. When my friend and I got there, we were on the waiting list. What’s confusing was that the list was the same with Manam’s. There was no clear distinction between the list of Ooma and Manam. The receptionists, who were also servers, didn’t even ask if the diners are for Ooma or Manam. I hope they have it cleared by now which diners are dining which resto.
This is definitely one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. I love that they offer Maki Set options so you can try a variety at a time. Their food servings are generous too.
Gyudon still a favorite. But recently discovered the awesome Uni Udon. The staff in the Molito Alabang branch are very courteous and alert, making customers feel well taken cared of, which is kinda rare these days.
Rolls are perfection.
The gyudon is also love at first bite.
The tempura, my son's favorite.
Anyone who loves Japanese food needs to eat here.
Pros:
1. Authentic japanese food, consistent in taste (been there 3x) and plenty in serving
2. Excellent customer service
3. Clean and appealing place
Cons:
None so far
Notes:
1. If you love meat, dont forget to order their hanger steak, best paired with shrimp chahan and miso soup
2. If eating alone, a serving of aburi or roll is good. If eating in pairs, donburi is a good option (serving size good for 2.). Their hot plates and crowd favorite is also good for two.
Food is very good! Our server Bella and as well as the other servers were courteous and attentive. The place is clean and looks very nice. Will definitely come back!
There’s a new area in Molito that is now open and Ooma is one of the restaurants there. The place is shared with Manam. It’s very spacey with its high ceiling.
Had dinner here last weekend. It was actually my first time to eat at Ooma!
We got the Aburi Mixer which consists of the following:
~ Salmon Skin Aburi Maki
~ Kimchi Prawn and Enoki Aburi Maki
~ Steak Aburi Maki
~ (I forgot the last one but it’s spicy 😅)
It’s a good sampler for their best-seller aburi makis. There are 3 pcs. for each kind.
Our Tamago & Cheese Rolls arrived at our table when we were halfway done with our aburi mixer. I specifically told the server to separate the aligue sauce (I’m allergic to it!).
However, when we got our order, the sauce was mixed with the rolls. I had it changed, and I liked how the staff replaced it without any complaints.
Thank you, Ooma Molito, for the good service you have given us! :)
had dinner with my family , The food was absolutely wonderful and the menu are good it's perfect for every one. also the service was awesome , the ambiance was great,
will be back definitely!
The servers were very polite and accommodating. Place is very spacious and very modern-looking. Food was delicious, especially their rolls. My personal favorites are the umagi maki and salmon skin aburi maki! Hanger steak was also very good. Overall, great place, and even better food!
We went here a few days after it opened and the place was almost packed. Servers are very nice and accomodating. Anna was our server, she was warm and fun to converse with, even went up the second floor to take our mandatory aerial shot haha. The food tastes great. Though, it could be better if they had bigger portion sizes. But nevertheless we enjoyed the food we ordered and the ambience was awesome. Would definitely be back to try it out some more.
Definitely an Ooma-gayd experience! From the very comfortable dining experience, superb customer service and awesome food! All the thumbs up for this resto!
For a nice sushi dinner, we were glad to find that ooma was already open in the south. We ordered our favorites:
Sushi platter with the favorites
Hanger steak
Ebi tempura
Steak was excellent, as well as, the tempura but I think there was a bit too much mayo on the sushi. Still good though and service was also good. Good addition to Molito.
Went to Ooma to celebrate my birthday and ordered the following:
Salmon skin aburi maki
-torched salmon with asparagus, cream cheese, wasabi, teriyaki sauce
Tsukemen
-I was craving for ramen but this is the closest they have in the menu and boy, everything from the noodles to the broth was oh-so-good! The beef was so tender and full of flavor, and the broth had no “umay” factor - with some cumcumber to complement or balance the saltiness.
Ebi tempura
-7 large pieces that comes with 3 sauces (aligue mayo, herb aioli, tempura sauce)
Frankly, this costs us 1,100 pesos which is quite pricey for 2. We were initially considering Romantic Baboy which would cost a little lower for an unlimited meat. But no regrets eating at Ooma, highly recommended.
This is my first time eating at Ooma since it was recommended by a friend. We ordered the Ebi Tempura which was great for the price. It was delicious and I really liked that the head was included in the serving. The Maki’s that we ordered were also great and the plating presentation was creative. I enjoyed our dining experience and I will be sure to come back to this branch.
Amazing, delicious food. They have super polite and hospitalable service. This may not be sincere but the food was reaaaally good haha ❤️👏 Will be back for my birthday 😍
We had a great experience eating here in Ooma Molito. The food was just as yummy as the other branches and the service was excellent. Big thank you to Innah, our kind and bubbly waitress who was so fun to talk to. We’ll come back for sure.
Had an awesome dining experience! Love their Ebi Tempura and Salmon Skin Maki ❤️ Thank you to the bubbly Miss Innah for always smiling and checking on us!
Great food and ambience! Really loved their hanger steak and spicy tuna maki. Would recommend this to all my friends. And really loved the service thanks to our server Innah :)
Had a really bad week so went to Ooma to give my heart & tummy some love! As usual, I left the place full & happy :)
I’d also like to commend my server, Innah, for her cheerful & warm service. Will definitely keep on coming back here!
The place wasn’t crowded yet when we arrived. Service was fast . Innah was always smiling . Food was good. Background music needed improvement though.
First time here and I tried their samplers. All were good. A bit heavy on the truffle oil but no other complaints. Our server Innah was solid, always had a smile.
Over all a nice experience.
Will come back to try more of their dishes
Aside from the food (which we really love), staff are soooo friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Innah and Jess, thank you so much. Til next time!
Newly found Jap resto!👌🏻
Ebi Tempura’s crunchy with a flave twist, AND you can straight away eat it’s head which is 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hangar Steak 👍🏻
Uni Sashimi tho is watery (you can see from the photo!) 😏
oh and the staffs are very accomodating!⭐️
Ate here on a Friday night. Food was great. Service was good. Although the food took a loooong time to be served. A bit understandable since there were tons of customers. Still, would give this place a 3.8/5 just because we waited so long for our food and by the time the food arrived, we were all ravenous that the portions weren't enough to satisfy our hunger. 😂
Would go back to this place again, though because their food tasted so good. 👍
First time eating at Ooma and it was great! I commend our server INNAH due to her attentiveness and she sure does her job right!
Their hanger steak is a must try.
So happy Ooma is finally here in the South! Love the food Hanger steak! oh so yummy! Service was great. Waiter (nen?) assigned to the table was very attentive. He would visit us every now and then to see if we needed anything else, if dishes were done or food consumed. Food was served hot, fast for this type of restaurant and nicely plated. I would have given them 5 stars if they had restrooms good for 2 restaurants since they were sharing it with Manam.

Love everything they're serving. They're sushi is the best, I really like the variations of flavors. Very friendly staff. Thanks, Innah from Ooma. Will definitely go back.
They finally opened in the southern area :) not a food critic though so today, I'm rating them on customer experience. We were served from start to end by Innah. Regardless if she knew us or not, the service felt personalized. She was aware of her surroundings and would always look to see if the customers needed anything else. While it's an expectation, it's usually overlooked. Yes, be kind to the waiters/waitresses regardless but to see a friendly, and prompt service from the crew just puts the icing on the cake. Oh yeah, she was very patient while we were ordering. Didn't offer any choice but that's how we want it. We'll ask for the best sellers if we want them :) great customer service today by Innah!
Went for lunch and ordered Uni Udon, Kani Salad and Crowd Favorites (mixed maki). We loved the crown favorites, but the Uni Udon was so creamy at first it tasted good, but as you eat more it became overpowering. We even had a joke about this. “Kaya pala ooma - nakaka- ooma-y”
The kani salad was served last after we followed up when we are almost done. So naturally we didnt like it anymore as it was supposedly an appetizer.
I will still go back to this place to try other makis and rolls but will not order Uni Udon again!
The service is one of the best parts of the dining experience. Our server, Innah, was very attentive
and friendly.
Will recommend any of the taco-maki. Portions for the agedashi tofu are good enough for sharing.
Finally!!! I don't have to go to makati for ooma!!!! Really good aburi maki!!!! Alabang is really becoming a food heaven!! Great service and top quality sushi
had a bit confusion over getting a table as they had only one station taking note of the guests for both Ooma and Manam. servers were cordial and attentive. they should ask though if guests wants the mains served with the appetizers as our steak kinda got too cold by the time we got to it.
Finally! Ooma is in the South!
We enjoyed everything that we ordered, especially the UNI UDON with its creamy uni sauce, it has to be eaten right away just as soon as it’s served to fully appreciate it 😋. The SOFT SHELL CRAB TACO-MAKI was simply delightful. GYUDON was on point.
We ordered the CROWD’s Favorite Aburi Maki, and it was too salty.
The place is nice and right beside its sister company, Manam.
The service was frustrating when we first arrived for an early dinner. The place just had a few diners And yet a simple request of a tea refill or an extra plate took them a long time to attend to. Food also took a long time to hit our table. It was when we were about to go that the staff were solicitous 😆 only because there was a long queue when we stepped out.
One of the best japanese/asian fusion restos in the south! 🤩
Ordered their aburi mixer, hanger steak, and ube sago. All were delish!
Will surely be back for more!
Great food, value for money, and ambiance. And excellent service. Thank you very much Innah! We’ll be back soon. The new Moment card is also very nice
Newly opened and going on 1 week tomorrow Jan 21, 2019 so brace yourself cause it takes a while to get seated. Staff are nice and accommodating but service could be better and faster. It’s understandable since they just opened. I will be back for the baked salmon gratin, soft shell crabs, and the camias lemongrass shake. Thanks.
Now I know what's the fuss about!
Went to Ooma's new branch in Molito and I ordered their Aburi Mixer.
Salmon Skin Aburi Maki - I love the texture of this Maki. I wish the torch lends more smoky flavor
Spicy Tuna Maki - this one is ok.
Steak Aburi Maki - smiled by myself when I ate it. First I was confused since its flavor is reminiscent of Pinoy BBQ and then it happened, it just melts in your mouth.
Kimchi Prawn and Enoki Aburi Maki - there's a bit of sourness and spicyneds from the kimchi and creamy texture from the cheese.
Ordered their Mango+Ginger yo try something different. It kinda taste like mango shake with candied ginger which I like.
I will definitely go back here and will be my new go to place if I want maki.
Im not too convinced that having the kitchen/bar smack dab in the middle of two dining areas AND one closed area above it is the ideal setup, and it showed, with how long it took for the drinks to get to us despite it being a relatively quiet hour.
That said, the food was good and the staff did their best. The rolls were good. They didnt blow my mind but theyre reliably tasty. The sous vide beef however, that one will stay with me. The gyudon was excellent - tasty, umami af, tender as anything. The sauces tended to be on the sweet side though, but it worked for me.
Ms.Innah of Ooma Alabang was very very helpful and accomodating. She was also very friendly and approacheable. Love her. Heart heart heart heart heart heart
Good food, great service! Special mention Innah, our sweet and friendly server.😊 I love the restaurant's aesthetic, very cozy and conducive to gatherings and meetings.
