First time and definitely not the last, love the food friendly staff cool place, im a chef here in singapore but i love all your food, I’ll be back and i will visit this place again ❤️💕
The best place to eat I haven't had anything that wasn't good great service even for alcohol it's the place, price is reasonable.
Cold beer!!! Casual dining with lots of selection.
Perfect filipino restaurant with classic pinoy comfort food. great place to hangout with friends to drink and have great food, definitely a go to chilluman place. Only problem is that the place is mostly out doors but I guess it would be good for the chill vibe.
Been going here for a couple of times. Nice restaurant for filipino food. The only problem here is that it takes a while for the waiters to notice you. Serving time is just right for me although sometimes it takes awhile.
Food could be a hit or miss. Ordered the Sari-Saring Inihaw and almost everything was too hard to eat. Their crispy pata was really good and soft and their kare kare is flavorful. Worth the price.
I've been dinning in here since the mid 2000. There's a driving range beside it, a lot of open parking space. They've been serving cold beers since I can't remember when. I usually drink and dine here with friends from the south, friends that are balik bayans and some friends from the north as well. The non AC dining area is very chillax. Staff are very attentive even when they are understaffed at times. Must try: Sisig, Bulalo Steak, Bicol Express, Crispy crablets, Etc.
We dined at Manong’s just recently and the family loved it! Ambiance was great, the vibes was laid back and had a cozy feel to it. Ample parking space. Food was really good, especially the Bagnet sisig. We’ll certainly come back here even with friends.
I've always loved Manong's! I used to work in Alabang so we would usually go here for drinks after work, the ambiance is really nice, it's relaxed and casual and decent. Perfect for a night out with friends and even good for gatherings with family. We actually had our lunch reception here after our civil wedding last month, I was very pleased with their service. They accommodated all our requests, gave us good seats, waiters were very attentive from order-taking to refilling of drinks etc. Food is good, love their sisig, crispy pata, kare-kare, chicharon bulaklak, and sinigang. I would definitely recommend this if you're planning to go out in groups, their meals are good for sharing and defintely worth the price.
I am always spending my chillax night here. Honestly, nothing’s special with the place. It is a usual hangout place for non party goers. Their below zero beers keeps me going back here together with the crispy hito that never in my life have I imagine that I will eat. But this bar made it really crispy and delicious. Also their lechon kawali is good. Good food with good company is always the best.
I initially thought that this would just be a typical bar where people hang out and drink alcoholic beverages. I was pleasantly surprised that not only do they serve as a bar but also a place where big groups of family and friends could enjoy.
Food is food and price is reasonable. We had the baked new zealand mussels. You can taste the juiciness of the mussels and they were cooked well. Crispy Kang kong has the right amount of crispness and went really well with the sauce provided with it.
Sizzling pork has a nice crunchy texture but more on the sweet side. It needed a bit of calamansi and soy sauce to lessen the sweetness. Their tofu tuna sisig on the other hand has mayonnaise, not a fan but still ok.
Sinigang na baboy (pork) is good, very generous portions of pork and vegetables but was quite lacking on the soup base since it has the right amount of sourness on the soup that you kinda wish they have more soup on the serving. Sinigang tuna belly was also good.
Their Laing was good. We also ordered their grilled platter which has chicken, pork liempo, squid and tuna. Hubby says the tuna was not that good.
Over-all we still enjoyed our dining experience and would still be back.
Manong's serves cheap Filipino food. Bestsellers are Bangus sisig and Crispy Tadyang. You can ask the server to have the meat cut bacon style for happier eating. They have their versions of sashimi and maki too but they're just average, better to go to a Japanese resto to get your fix of those. Service: so-so. Food portions getting smaller with the passage of time. On a positive note, they serve really cold beer so if you just want a place to hang and down a couple of bottles, this will do
I can call my self a regular guest to this place.. I started coming here 2003 if my memory serves me correctly. 😁 the food is awsome.. Tokwa sisig and cheese sticks are one of my favorites. What keeps this place cool is they serve their beers BBZ. The place is cold and you will feel relax everytime you decided to eat or drink.. It's a cool place that i recommend to everybody.. @iraverson
