My favorite ramen place!!! Their broth tastes better than the famous franchise you could think of. Just thinking about God Fire makes me drool during this quarantine period. Can’t wait to come back.

I couldn't count for how many times me and my family have been here. This is where we do religiously our monthly ramen fix. For us, who have japanese taste buds, this is the closest to an original Hakata ramen. The broth is not greasy, the egg is perfectly cooked everytime. Their signature tonkotsu ramen is a must try, but for spicy lovers, God Fire ramen hands down will solve your fix. Since I love spicy, I usually have mine at level 3. However, all others are good. For sides, their gyoza is bite size and super juicy. But the karaage is authentic, a work of art of crispy on the outside and oozing with juices on the inside. For us, this is the closest Ramen to the original in Japan, better than Ippudo, Ramen Nagi and Yushoken/ Mendokoro. Some ramen places here in Manila has already a twist of Filipino taste in their ramen. This remains authentic to the Fukuoka Hakata Ramen. No wonder Japanese and Korean customers frequent here.

I love their authentic Tonkotsu Ramen and bite size Gyoza. I also love their karage mayo don. The resto is cozy and customer service is great. One thing amazing other than the food in their menu list is that it is child friendly. I see lil kids having fun eating and doing art stuff like coloring activities. It is indeed a happy place where family and friends can eat to their fullest . I am now a fan of Hakata Ikkousha in Festival Mall . I hope that they branch out soon. 🤗👍😍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect for the rainy season! Whenever you talk about where to taste a legit ramen, Hakata Ikkousha should be one on your list!
So if you happen to crave for a savory hot bowl of ramen, this is really the place to be. Also try it with extra meat, gyoza or karaage.

We are all thrilled with the way of food ordering. We choose what are Ramen will be like. What will be the noodles, broth, toppings and above all the servings are so BIG! #itadakimasu Okay, the place is a bit crowded I mean so little space to move. However, that I think is what an authentic Japanese Restaurant is all about, am I right? Above all, their ramens are so delicious. The broth justifies the name of restaurant as being authentic. Toppings are so many I mean you can choose one or two but big or chunks to have. Staffs are so accommodating. We asked if we can order one in advance but they preferred and advise to let the person who wish to order to be waited to avoid getting the noodles soggy. Very accommodating with all smiles. We will be back to try other food they offer. Two thumbs up guys! 👍🏻👍🏻

The customer service was definitely satifysing! The staff were so friendly and assisted us nicely.

We ordered the Shio Tonkotsu, Ajitama Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken Karaage. You can customize the saltiness, spiciness and texture of noodles. Shio Tonkutsu was light and the noodles were not so thick as well. (Which is how I like it!) Their best seller, Ajitama Tonkotsu was 'heavier' but the taste delivers! It's definitely good for its price. The best of them all was surprisingly the Chicken Karaage. MUST TRY! It's so juicy and flavorful.

My fave ramen so far. It's customizable - from thickness of the noodles, saltiness, etc. Price is okay. I find it worth the price. The place is not big and can only accommodate few people. Interior is okay. Service is okay. I just dont like the smell of the ramen but it tastes fine.

I used not to finish a bowl of ramen until I had a taste of Ajitama Tonkotsu of Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen in Alabang Town Center. Oh boy, it was good! Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen's ramen mainly uses the Tonkotsu broth so it’s thick, flavorful, and oh so tasty. Also, we liked that we can decide on the noodle quality/tenderness – soft, normal, or hard. Since we do not know what exactly "noodle tenderness" meant or how will it affect the taste or the presentation of our orders, we went for the regular/normal option. (You can never go wrong with the normal, eh?).

You can customize your ramen like spiciness, saltiness, noodle doneness, etc. We ordered the Ajitama God Fire and Ajitama Tonkotsu. The Ajitama Tonkotsu broth was good, though not as thick or creamy as we would have liked. We loved the flavored egg in it. The God Fire was just spicy and not a lot of tonkotsu flavor.

Service was fast. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Good air conditioning, which we just have to mention because it was hot and humid in that area of Festival Mall that night.

I love that you can customize your ramen from the saltiness of the broth, the toppings, to doneness of the noodles - that way, you are sure to enjoy your ramen just the way you like it. I always order their Special Black Tonkotsu ramen and i always love the rich broth. Serving size is generous enough. Staffs are friendly, too. I just wish their gyoza is bigger.

Gyoza: 🍥🍥
Ramen: 🍥🍥🍥🍥
Ambience: 🍥🍥🍥🍥
Price: 🍥🍥🍥🍥

Ordered the God Fire special with level 2 spicyness, normal satlness; and gyoza.

Gyoza was served first. 5 pcs of mini gyozas. It was... okay? 😶

Next was the ramen served in a big bowl filled with broth and noodles, chasu on the sides. I was not expecting much but I was surprised on how rich the broth was. Not oily and the spicyness was just right for me. It was soo good! The noodles and the ajitama were just okay.

Overall my experience was good - staff were really nice and accomodating, place was clean. I'll definitley back here.

Yes, I am missing Japan. And soon, I’ll be posting my super duper delayed Tokyo posts. To be honest, I don’t know what happened. Got so busy with work, and prioritized other posts that those features got super delayed. But yeah, brace yourself for a whole batch of Tokyo posts! 😀. So glad that they opened their first branch all the way down south! Serving up Hakata Ramen, this hails all the way from Ikkousha where its founder,  Kousuke Yoshimura, aims to make all diners happy. To order, one just has to fill out the form above. Time to experience that Hakata Ramen and its offers. 😛

We came here not expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised! We really liked the thin ramen noodles and the flavor of the broth which was not too overpowering nor oily. I also like the size of their bite-sized gyoza which I don’t have to cut in half too fit my mouth haha! The gyoza tastes like it’s freshly made. The staff were attentive and the customer service is very good. We will surely eat here again and I hope they will keep things consistent 😉

Honestly not a fan of japanese ramen or any japanese dish, but this one is an exemption. The last time I ate ramen was in Mckinley and didn’t enjoy it.
Hakata is a little bit pricey, but the quality of noodles and taste is good and worth the bucks.
Staffs are good, greeted us well. We even had a discount of 20% because of jcb credit card 😂

Not to mention, their service charge is a little bit pricey. 🙌🏻 but overall, it’s a good experience.

The staffs were all courteous and kind. The ambience is great as well.

Very price worthy because it has big servings. I love how the broth gave much flavor and taste on my Special Tonkotsu. The meat and egg made it more special and unique. For their Special God Fire ramen, made sure to choose the right level of spicyness coz you won't enjoy it if it's too hot or spicy.

We also got a 60-pesos off of their rice meal toppers because we bought a ramen.

Overall, this was a great Ramen experience!

I just hope that they'll open other branches along North so we could go back and try more.

Hakata Ikkousha is located on new wing of Festival Mall Alabang. I'm not actually a fan of Ramen but this really hooked me up. We ordered Special Godfire Ramen, Ajitama Black Ramen and One Bite Gyoza. On all the menus we ordered, I really love the Ajitama Black. It has a mild taste but flavorful. The consistency of the noodles is very smooth and unique. I wanna visit them again pretty soon!

Ate today with my Bae. Had the Tonkotsu Ajitama (normal seasoning, hard noodles) and shared the Karage. Comparing this with Ikkoryu and Ichirans ramen, their ramen is indeed flavorful. Very much flavorful that I felt that malansa flavor by the end. I didnt even finish my soup, just the noodles.

Karage was so-so. Read reviews and expected too much as they mentioned it was worth it.

I really enjoyed my meal though, it was just too much. I was never one to look for "panghimagas" to remove the meals taste on ones mouth. But I must had to cleanse my palette. Thank heavens for Wendys frosty, it helped. A lot.

I would suggest to just choose the light salt/seasoning next time. And very hard noodles too.

Luckily, people from the South like me can now enjoy the Hakata style ramen without even needing to ride a plane bound to Japan. Hakata Ikkousha Manila is located at the Upper Ground Floor  in the Expansion Area of Festival Mall Alabang. In the case of Hakata Ikkousha Manila’s ramen, the tonkotsu or pork bones are carefully boiled until the soup reaches a cloudy white color. The characteristic result is a smooth taste that is almost like milk, allowing the umami flavors of the pork to really come through.

T’was my first time eating here. Since I was feeling experimental, I tried their black Ajitama. When the ramen was served, I didn’t like the smell at first. I am not a fan of sesame. But when I tasted it, the sesame taste was not so overpowering. I actually loved it! Their tamago is 1 whole egg unlike in most ramen houses that they only put half of it!! 🤤 The color is not so appetizing, but it was not disgusting looking. It still looks edible.

Their chili powder is not so spicy. I would still prefer chili oil.

Surprisingly I emptied the whole bowl so I think the serving is smaller just like ramen nagi.

I chose the normal noodle. I actually thought it will be normal but it felt like it was hard. When I tasted the soup, it was not that hot but when I started eating the noodles, that’s when I felt the soup was hot. Weird. Lol.

I am giving the service and ambience a 5. We went there at around past 3pm so it was less crowded though.

Can’t compare the taste with other ramen house since this is the first time I tried the black ramen. 😅

They are similar to Ramen Nagi as you get to customize your own ramen but you only get to choose the type of noodles and level of saltiness. Taste wise, it was good but i’m still looking for more flavor. Their gyoza was really affordable and it was really good! The store ambiance was also okay and the store attendees were really accommodating.

Hakata Ikkousha is a new ramen restaurant in Metro Manila, but it hails from the world-famous Ikkousha ramen restaurant chain with roots in Fukuoka, Japan. The restaurant is located in Festival Mall, Alabang. It is relatively small, but well decorated. Its Japanese decoration, black and red color scheme, a Japanese chef in the kitchen, all give high points to authenticity.

I ordered their Special Tonkotsu, which had four thinly sliced chashu, a soy egg and their signature Tonkotsu broth, as well as their 5pcs bite-sized gyoza.

The gyoza was a bit too small for my taste, though it definitely lived up to its bite-sized name. The pork filling was delicious and flavorful, though their gyoza sauce didn't do much to accentuate or complement the flavor of the gyoza. The texture, however, was great. The wrapper was steamed nicely with a touch of chewiness which was broken by the perfectly crisped bottom of the dumpling.

On to the ramen! The ramen broth was pale and milky white, while the slices of chashu looked similar to ham, which I'm not really used to. Color and visual impact was brought by the negi or chopped green onions. Had it not been for the negi, the ramen would have been monochromatic.

The broth lived up to it being Tonkotsu. When scooped onto your spoon, you can clearly see the bubbles and jelly-like consistency because of the rendered pork bones. You can appreciate how long the pork bones were cooked in order to get the broth this thick, creamy, and flavorful. On the side, they had minced garlic, which I added to my broth to help break its intense umami. The broth was definitely the star of this dish.

The other toppings were okay. The noodles were perfectly blanched. The egg however, wasn't sliced when served, and when bitten into was cold on the inside. Not too much of a problem when serving a high volume of customers, but a little shocking when everything else is piping hot but your egg isn't warm. The chashu, though already pictured on their menu, was not one of my favorites given its thinness and somewhat sad appearance. Again, it looked like ham, felt like ham, and somewhat tasted like ham, which isn't what I'm used to and what I prefer.

Overall, the experience was great! I got very full from what I ordered, it was reasonably priced (450php for the ramen, 120php for the gyoza), and I might just come back on a different day to try their spicy options. Hakata Ikkousha may be a relatively new player here in Manila, but it could potentially cement it's place as one of the best ramen places you can only enjoy south of the metro.

This new Japanese resto in the South is now my fave go- to ramen place that will surely satisfy my ramen cravings!

I ordered Ajitamen Godfire Ramen Spicy Level 3! I always want my ramen spicy and I usually just go with mild or level 2 spicy. This time though I wanted to challenge myself by trying something different and extreme. And to my surprise it was actually tolerable! As a matter of fact I finished my bowl.

Soup was so rich and tasteful. Learned that Hakata is a broth simmered with pork bones until thick and creamy. No wonder it’s tasteful and famous! We also ordered Black Tonkotsu Ramen with Chashu on the side. Chashus were delicately placed and the taste was nothing similar to the ramens I’ve tried. We also got 5pcs gyoza and it went well with our ramen.

Visit this place while their Japanese chef is still making the ramens! I love it here!😍

Pretty awesome place. It feels like a quieter side of Japan. You get some appetizers like Red Ginger and condiments. I ordered the Special Black Ramen with normal texture noodles and normal saltiness because it is supposed to have the most intense flavor. I did get more than what I paid for. The soup indeed had the intense flavor and had the taste of grilled garlic and sesame. However, it wasn't overpowering that you wouldn't taste the other components of the ramen. It actually felt light for its flavor that I had to add more garlic from the condiments tray. They give you 4 giant slices of chashu and ajitama, too. Chashu was more on the leaner side and every slice is so big that it feels like getting 8 normal slices of chashu. You are still left with plenty of soup and toppings so you might want to order extra noodles. It reheats the soup, too.

Their iced tea is cheaper compared to others but has a distinct flavor that emphasizes the lemon rather than just being a sugary beverage. Their gyoza is on the smaller side but the advantage is you can taste the meat filling properly. It is salty enough so no need for shoyu.

Service is superb and you get the food fast. I got the ramen faster than the gyoza. You have your own pitcher of water so you'll pretty much only call the staff if you want seconds or pay for the meal. I will definitely be a frequent customer.
