I usually see this place full so I was glad that only a few tables were occupied when I decided to go in. Love the vibe and the professionalism πππβ€οΈ
The service is good, the food is amazing and surprisingly not very expensive. It's just that the ventilation is not that good.
As always, I go big when it comes to burgers. I've eaten at Pound 2 times and both delivered! Not my favorite place but they are on my list for top 5 burger joints in the South.

On our table:
β’ Secret Slider - Php110 via Booky App only
β’ Pound Poutine - Php180
β’ T.E Slider, Caramelized Bacon Alfredo with FOODEE Iced Tea - Php179
Food:
Nothing fancy with the pasta but I actually like the taste of the caramelized bacon on the alfredo. I mean it's bacon on a pasta.. you can't go wrong with that. π The fries on the poutine is like a thin but longer size version of kfc fries and I think it shouldn't be like that? But anyway, I like that the gravy has a spicy kick into it. Makes me want to eat more. I'm a little disappointed with the T.E Slider's patty tho because it is a bit dry. My favorite is the Secret Slider. Not a fan of caramelized onion but it tastes good with cheese on the Secret Slider and the patty is so juicy too! π One thing I also love about their slider is that they are using brioche buns. ππ»
Ambiance:
The black interior makes the restaurant look more classy and expensive. Gotta admit, at first I was hesistant to eat here. π
The price of food was worth it knowing that they're serving good quality food. Friendly staff and cozy restaurant. I'll come back for burgers and maybe try their poutine again. It's definitely worth a try. πππ»

Pound is tucked on the corner outside Alabang Tower Center along with Italiannis and Breadtalk though the restaurant itself is not noticeable. I first heard Pound from my cousin and finally, I was able to try this restaurant as this is where I had lunch on my sick leave.
As a first timer, I tried their classic burger with good ol' fries and iced tea. The beef was juicy and cooked in medium rare that makes it a delicious burger. While the iced tea is new to my taste, it was refreshing but the good ol' fries is your typical coated fries.
The price for the burger was worth it but not for the fries. Also, the ambiance is definitely classy with its black interiors while the staff are very nice and attentive. I'll definitely comeback here for good burgers and to try their Sliders soon.
Perfect burger. Good looking servers β€οΈ
At first glance, we thought the food was expensive here but it isn't. It's actually affordable. We always get one of the combos. Our favorite combo is the Backyard Cheeseburger + Good Ol' Fries + Iced tea. Patty is so big and fat! So affordable. I also especially love the fried pickles. Pickles! I can't get enough of the Truffle Risotto Tater tots. They are so good, I can make a meal out of them. Today, we also tried the Goat cheese salad --- looove it! We ended our meal with a slice of the flourless chocolate cake π
Oliver, our waitstaff, was lovely. He never changed expression when we told him we were using our #Booky app ππ»ππ». Although we have never ran into any untoward reaction yet while using this app, it still makes me wary since Iβm not use to having discounts lol.
Our sliders were spot on, the salad was good but we had to put a lot of Parmesan cheese to get that taste to make up for the barely there dressing. When we asked for warm water, it was also the perfect warm water that we want, other places we went to never got it right. So why not 5 π
I usually stick to the South, so it was great to know that Pound by Todd English was extending a branch in ATC. We were just looking to get a light dinner, and ended up availing one of their daily meals: One pasta, one slider, and iced tea for 179 php.Β
Serving size is quite small but was perfect for our appetite at the time. For the pasta you can choose from either the pomodoro or caramelized bacon alfredo.Β I much preferred the alfredo over the pomodoro, because the caramelization of the bacon really elevated the creamy saltiness of the white sauce. The pomodoro tasted rather one-dimensional in comparison after that.
For the sliders, I liked the freshness of the patty and tasted right off the grill. The brioche bun was delicious, and the fried onion strings added texture. My only disappointment is their Pound poutine, which I expected to be the usual poutine with plenty of gravy. There was hardly any sauce on our poutine, but the dish didn't taste bad. I just wouldn't call it poutine.
Service and delivery of food is quick. Ambiance is also nice. All in all a good experience and would definitely return again :)
Love the backyard burger and truffle fries and the sliders which are also good. Friendly staff. Nice place though a bit small. Great value for money, i highly recommend.
