Excellent value for money. Had my celebratory bday lunch here with my family earlier & nabusog kami. My metikulosong Dad enjoyed the crispy pata & veggie delight. Loved the sinigang rice, bagoong rice (the cilantro did it for me šŸ¤©) & crispy dinuguan. & we were so hungry we forgot to take photos of the 1st set of orders (LOL). Service was swift & attentive even during the ultra busy lunch hour. Will definitely come back!

We loved the experience at Kanin Club! True to its name, the kanin here are soo good! We ordered tinapa rice, bagoong fried rice, and sinigang fried rice. All of these were sooo good! We loved their crispy pata - very crunchy yet filling! The crispy dinuguan was a surprise, it seems like they cooked it to a crisp before adding the dinuguan sauce. In terms of portion size - seems like an order is good for 3 people, so we had to order rice again as it wasnā€™t enough. Service was good, not too fast not too slow. Although this might be because we went around lunch time. The crew was busy but still attentive, always checks in with us if we need water or something. Will probably go back.

Good place for Filipino food with a twist.

It's a good restaurant to go for some delicious Filipino food. But their menu isn't like any Filipino restaurant. They offer things like Crispy Diniguan and Sinangag na Sinigang; a twist on Filipinos favorite classics.

The restaurant itself feels a little cramped but not too. cramped that it's uncomfortable.

Overall though, it's a nice restaurant to go to.

A taste of home!! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. We also had Kare-Kare, didnā€™t get a chance to take a pic because it was ordered much later than the three we had. Quite a putok-batok meal for us tho hahahaha. Everythingā€™s delicious and savory. Serving is also good for sharing so itā€™s much better dining in with your family and friends.

They have an upstairs dining but it was closed when we went. The design was like an actual house. It was a bit crammed but it was cozy.

Had to come back and try other stuff here! Itā€™s like you can never go wrong with whatever you order. Iā€™m keeping an eye out on the Crispy Pata. šŸ‘€

Me and my boyfriend celebrated our 2nd anniversary here.

What we ordered:
Crispy Dinuguan - 5/5
Sinigang na Hipon - 5/5
Aligue Rice - 5/5

We were super satisfied with our orders. Crispy dinuguan was very different. My boyfie liked it because he loooves dinuguan. I, however, loves sinigang. It only has a few shrimp but its ok. And the Aligue Rice.. TO DIE FOR! Everything was great! The place, serving, food and service! Before I thought the price was OA, but now I realized that the price is not bad at all!!!

We went there on a weekday lunch, the place wasn't that busy, attendant is there to greet you and show you to your table. We loved it that the food didn't take too long to come yet all were served hot. The sinangag na sinigang was such as surprise, it really does taste like sinigang :) though i'm not a fan of the liempo. The crispy dinuguan was a hit, we loved the asim factor and crispiness of the meat. Laing was simple yet flavorful. The beef was also great, especially the sauce, it's just that the beef portion was quite big! :)

Overall would love to come back and dine at Kanin Club. Tables and utensils were clean :)

We used to frequent in their Sta.Rosa branch whenever we had foreign visitors in my previous company. Which is why I've grown to love their food and am glad there's the Westgate branch nearby. Always, dining here wouldn't be complete without the - sinigang na sinangag, aligue rice, crispy kangkong, crispy dinuguan, laing, sinigang bangus belly in miso, crispy liempo, and their signature turon. Pair it with their green iced tea.

I am still on a hangover with our dining experience here at Kanin Club! Iā€™m looking at the different branches where we can dine again!

Food is soooooo gooood!!!!

Crispy Dinuguan is, hands down, a fave. Sauce is yummy and the pork chicharon in the dinuguan is really really good!

Almost everything we ordered were so good!

Desserts were superb! The Turon KC (Kanin Club) Ala Mode was like Turon with Halo Halo ingredients inside. We were served Durian Ice Cream on top of one and the other, we are still discussing if it was Lychee or Coconut as we were not able to determine until now!

Sticky Rice is so good!!!! I think I could finish up one order but sadly had to share with my team mates šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚

Definitely going on a Kanin Club craze this coming days until I get tired of it!

Update:
They use bacon as pork toppings for Pinakbet. Yum!

I remember eating here with a really big group. The waiter got confused and double up some of our orders but we still accept it coz he looks like it'll be deducted to him if we return it. One of my co-worker got mad coz it was repeated thrice but we still accept the orders. And the waiter looks like he's gonna cry na so we just talked to him nicely and told him na he should repeat our orders to confirm before actually ordering it.

The food was good. Usual filipino food.
I love the crispy tadyang.

Was planning a quick eat & go as I still had to pass by the grocery after dinner. So not possible!! The food here is crazy good! We had Nilagang Tadyang ng Baka- although the meat was not as tender as seemingly promised in the menu description, the broth was rich in flavor and the kids loooooved it! Binukadkad na Tilapia- simple, perfectly cooked; crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside; Spicy Tahong- a winner! A generous amount of mussels sauteĆ©d in spicy shrimp paste and coconut milk; Crispy Beef Salad- FTW!!! Nothing said on the menu will prepare you for this dish. The crispy, thin beef strips taste like crispy pata. Imagine a huge heap of that over tomatoes and onions bathed in vinaigrette. Drool!! For dessert- Turon ala Mode. This is halo-halo in crispy lumpia wrapper topped with your choice of ice cream- ube, mais, keso, macapuno, and even durian. Guaranteed to please any preference. The service? Impressive. Thank you, Ruben. You are such an asset to your company and I hope the management knows thisšŸ˜Š. No wonder this place is always full. I look forward to many more amazing family meals in Kanin Club.

*This review is supposedly for their Paseo de Sta. Rosa branch*

Dined at Kanin Club on a rainy night and that's the only moment I get to know why it was named Kanin Club... cos they offer UNLIMITED RICE!!!! I love crispy pata and I believe you can never go wrong with it. However, I was a bit disappointed with Kanin Club's crispy pata cos it was too dry and the serving was really small. Given the fact the the serving is small, the meat was outsized by how huge the bones were. Nonetheless, other dishes are unique and astonishing! You'd really need more rice!

Went here for a mini reunion with my ex co workers. They just invited me since they really loved the food here. It's actually pretty cheap especially in groups. Servings were enough for us and I honestly think that the food was just OK. They probably only enjoyed because it had a classy vibe and didn't spend so much money on food. šŸ˜ø

Some restaurants quality and taste of food somehow diminishes as time passes. Kanin Club is definitely not that kind of Restaurant! It's been years since I last ate here but their quality of food is still as good!

To start their Sinigang na Sinangang is still great. The right mix of sour and saltiness in the rice is perfect with the binukadkad na plagal and the crispy dinuguan. The Aligue rice is perfect with the sizzling squid!

Ang sarap ng turon. Perfect dessert for a fine Filipino spread with a twist!

Though the callos was a disappointment. It's the first time I ordered it. I think it needed more "cleaning". When we cook tripe, we usually boil it once or twice before actually cooking it

Service was quite good inspite the many customers.

I had a birthday lunch with my good friend at this branch. It was my first time to try Kanin Club and it did not disappoint. We ordered tinapa rice, liempo, mango salad, lemon chicken fillet, nilagangĀ baka.Ā If the food choices seemĀ random, it's because I don't know how to partner food. BUT IT WAS ALL GOOD. The beef was tender, the chicken had the right blend of sweet and lemony, the liempo was crispy, the mango salad was just right, and the tinapaĀ rice would have been enough on its own.

The service was good too. The crew were nice and showed initiative.

Kanin Club has almost single-handedly built its reputation on one dish:Ā crispy dinuguan. Practically an oxymoron, this much-maligned Filipino dish thatā€™s been relegated to Fear Factor status, is a (soft) blood stew made of pig parts. This crispy dinuguan hews to the original in terms of consistency (saucy), the color (midnight black), and then skews off into its own tangent.Ā I'm sorry, but I have not really tasted Dinuguan all my life; but as what my friends have told me, Kanin Club's one is by far the best in the country.

All-time favorites include the Sinangag na Sinigang. This is a concept that I have difficulty wrapping my head around. But it works. Rice is moistened with a broth, its acidity present and pleasant while echoes of the traditional sinigang appear in the bits of meat, eggplant, string beans, and green finger chilis (sili pang sigang). The final touch is its crown of crunchy, deep-fried kangkongĀ (swamp cabbage) providing that needed textural change. A marvelous example of a well-thought out dish.

I could not tell any negative things about the dishes that I've tried during my several visits to the restaurant, all that I could say is actually of great admiration, especially for the ingenuity & craftsmanship.

This is the first and only (for now) branch of Kanin Club that I've been in. The place, I must admit, seems to be big enough, but due to a lot of people wanting to eat there that day and time, we had to wait outside the restaurant under the heat of the sun. This took the 0.5 from my almost perfect rating for them. They should put waiting sheds, or at least provide chairs to the waiting customers outside.

We were there because of a HS friend's recommendation. She let us try KC's ever-famous crispy dinuguan and in an instant, I fell in love with it! It was a good match with their plain rice. I'm not a fan of their sinigang rice, sorry.

I also loved their sago't gulaman, but the paper straw messed it up. For the environment, yeah.

So we went here for Father's Day because my lolo's craving for Filipino food. We had squid, pancit canton, dinuguan, nilagang baka (?), tokwa, crispy pata and rice. I really liked their dinuguan because it is different from other dinuguan. Their crispy pata is kinda hard though. My Lolo wasn't able to eat it. But their tokwa is the best!!! You guys should try it on your first visit. Their nilagang baka and pancit canton are just fine. The squids are also good. But nothing to be rave about. Their turon is my recommended dessert. It is really delicious and big! We actually waited almost an hour to sit but it's okay because the staff were friendly despite the crowd. They weren't easily stressed by the number of people and they still managed to smile. They are really accommodating. And the price, is just enough for its big serving! Confession: I donā€™t eat dinuguan. Ever since I was young, I would veer away from this dish and choose others. Maybe itā€™s the color that was off-putting for me. So when I first saw this (Crispy Dinuguan), I was hesitant to try it. But hey, it deserves a 2nd chance right? Plus, itā€™s the crispy kind. I wouldnā€™t hesitate to try anything thatā€™s crispy. So when I first had this, I was hooked! Seriously, never knew it tasted good. Plus, itā€™s crispy. I donā€™t have any complaints on that. Ever since then, ordering this at this club is always a must. If itā€™s your first time dining here, make sure you order this. Promise, you wonā€™t have any regrets.Ā

To balance the tasty Crispy Dinuguan, we had something spicy and of the seafood kind. Their Spicy Tahong wasnā€™t creamy, and had the right balance of coconut milk and spice. This could serve up to 4 people if you have other dishes.

If you want to have a taste of Filipino dishes with a twist, this restaurant is surely the one perfect for your taste buds. Went here to try their Crispy Dinuguan since according to my friends, this dish is their bestseller. Curious to know if it were as delicious as the one I've tried in Ilocos, we dined here to satisfy our cravings. We ordered their Crispy Tenga, Crispy Dinuguan, Salmon Sinigang and Ensaladang Mangga. Servings were reasonable for the price. Overall, the food and service is good. I'm not a rice lover, but for those who are, Kanin Club surely is a haven.

Ā We haven't tried any of their specialty rice but who says we can't go back and try again? Besides, they have this relatively new branch in Westgate, Alabang. Hurraaaah!

Kanin Club is distinctly Filipino: from the wooden doors, stained glasses, colorful paintings everywhere to wooden tables with Capiz shells. The ambiance inside is a mixture of homey feeling with something modern about it.Ā

Unmistakably too, they serve Filipino dish with a twist.Ā

This is their Crispy Dinuguan (Php 274). Until upon looking at it, I can't still figure out why it's called crispy. Only when I've tasted it's crunchiness did it dawned on me why. It's chicharon-goodness beneath! Perfect with the tangy dinuguan sauce.

Hello there Kare-Kare (Php 376)! The thing with me eating Kare-Kare, though weird it is, I don't eat it with bagoong. I approve of Kare-Kares which are tasty as is. And here, I got what I wished for. A light, hearty and creamy Kare-Kare! Yum!

Went a bit Spanishy with Beef Callos (Php 430) here. The sauce is good, you can even take it home, boil your own spaghetti noodle and devour.

Just beware though when eating in Kanin Club. On the menu are yummy tasting innocent angels, but watch out, these goodness can be treacherous devils to the heart!

Enjoy eating,

Ambiance is really nice with a touch of old style filipino place. Parking is a little issue at westgate you have to take a short walk on a rainy and hot day just to get to this place. Service is a little slow when its packed.

The place was packed when we visited this place and it wasn't even a weekend then. That time, servers were too busy serving food from one table to another, some were cleaning the tables and nobody was left to take orders. It took 10 minutes more before somebody noticed that we still haven't been given the menu. So when the server finally handed the menu to us, it took us only 2 minutes or even less than that to choose the food we wanted.

Okay so long story short, after 20 minutes the food arrived.

So here is my honest review, one spoonful of the bloody dish and I instantly had a silent comment in my mind. Seriously, I don't understand the hype about the Crispy Dinuguan. For me, it's just crispy liempo covered with tasteless blood. That's it. Not impressive at all, at least for me.

Sinangag na sinigang is overstated but the presentation I can say is Facebook material. I just hope they made it more tasteful to the palate instead.

The Spicy Tahong is another story because I liked it as it reminds me of the seafood Thai dish that I always order when I go to Thai restaurants . Also the Seafood Kare-Kare is worth the space in here and is worth mentioning. I hate it when Kare-Kare is mostly starch but the one they served me was the real deal. No picture of it by the way because it was a take-away order.

The Iced tea too was a winner, I just hate the fact that we need to wait for long intervals before our glasses get refilled. Mind you, they won't proactively do it, you need to call their attention before your glass gets refilled (parang utang na loob mo pa). What a shame. You do not offer bottomless iced tea if you won't give refills right?

I honestly feel bad for the servers because they were obviously understaffed that day. But hey, we are paying customers it is the least of our problems and as patrons we should get at least a decent and acceptable service.

The worst part is most servers even looked tired and grumpy-- the last thing you would want to see when just want to relax and eat. Overall, I was unhappy with the service and the food is nothing to rave about.

Today marks the 116th Philippine Independence Day; and what better way to celebrate than to eat at a restaurant that serves Filipino cuisine.
We had a late lunch at Kanin Club. Which serves really good Crispy Dinuguan. Mind you, am not a fan of dinuguan but Kanin Club's Crispy Dinuguan (Php290) is simply fantastic! A perfect combination of crunch, saltiness, and sourness. Another viand we had was Calderetang Nuevo. Being a fan of sauce-y foods, I love kaldereta with its beef and vegetable contents. However, with Kanin Club's Calderetang Nuevo (Php310) only has soft savory beef and delicious coconut milk (gata). Despite its obvious lack of vegetables, the Calderetang Nuevo is tasty and very filling.
Overall, Kanin Club never fails to disappoint me with their affordable and wonderfully filling meals.

Not the first time to eat at Kanin Club actually. I remember having their Adobo Combo, which is essentially a combination of chicken, pork and liver. Not a fan of liver that's why I like this Adobo coz I didn't taste the liver at all! It had thicker sauce than the usual home made Adobo, which made it distinct from the moment you taste it.

This time around came here to try their other known dishes as promised from my first visit. First was their Crispy Dinuguan, which was way way good!! Crispy coz the pork was perfectly crisp and fried, then its sauce tasted better than any other dinuguan - rich texture which was not so sour but was just very balanced I can actually eat it alone even without rice! now I know why their Crispy Dinuguan is really famous.

Another dish we had was their Spicy Tahong. The sauce was more of tomato-based with coconut milk and ginger, really good most especially if you love tahong and prefer it cooked it a different kind of sauce.

Of course what's the sense in dining at Kanin Club without exploring their menu of rice?! So we had their Sinangag na Sinigang which at first sounded weird to me. But when I tasted it, it was literally like eating Sinigang but in the form of sinangag! Whoever came up with this dish is genius. Plus I loved the presentation and the toppings and sides - crispy kangkong and okra in a tempura-like batter. This rice also compliments any other dish on the table because it's sour like Sinigang it somehow balances the taste of anything salty and fried on the table.

We had another rice which was the Aligue Rice. Not really a fan of Aligue itself but I also liked how they prepared their dish, not salty and not too oily. I assure you this dish wouldn't disappoint anyone at all.

I'm pretty sure Kanin Club has a lot more to offer I can't wait to dine back :)

Kanin Club is a restaurant that serves Filipino cuisines. It goes high up in my bar together with Kamayan and Mesa. An interesting thing about Kanin Club is that their dish comes with a twist! Sinangag na Sinigang, Crispy Dinuguan, only to name a few, but don't let the name deceive you for its name is only as unique as its flavor!

Sinangag na Sinigang, now this dish caught my attention. Sinigang... in sinangag? It's a sin not to try it being a sinigang lover and all. After a few minutes there it was, a heapful of mess! Well, at least that's what I thought, but after looking closer, I realized that it was a masterpiece! A mount of rice topped with three liempo strips and crispy kangkong. It was ugly and beautiful at the same time and it's taste, took me to sinigang heaven! This dish is a meal in itself but if you'd like a hefty meal then another dish is more than enough. Sinangag na Sinigang with Crispy Dinuguan works for me.

The store is not too shabby. It's a bit small though so it's not a good idea to bring the whole baranggay with you. Floor can be a bit slippery when wet. Good interior. Gives you that classic homey feel. Location is good too. The price is not bad. About Php 600.00 - 700.00 is good for two but would still depend on what you'll be ordering. Great staff, very accomodating.

All in all, Kanin Club is a must try. I can truly say that I got my money's worth and even more.

Kanina Club was smart in preparing their menu by having different takes on classic Filipino dishes. You really can't compare their food with your grandma's cooking.

They have quite a big menu and with the ones that I've tried so far my favorites were the Salmon Belly Sinigang sa Miso, Seafood Kare-Kare, Crispy Beef Salad, and Sinangag na Sinigang.

They also offer a different kind of turon w/ bananas, ube jam, makapuno, and sweet mongo. It's like a halo-halo spring roll. You can have an option of having it on it's own or taking it to the next level by topping it with the ice cream of your choice.

Kanin club was introduced to me by a college friend. She brought us her when our bus for our retreat during college years, and we trusted her choice of food. She ordered crispy dinuguan, bagoong rice and hototay soup. We were all so amazed as how the food was really delicious because we weren't all that super a fan of Filipino foods. But with this restaurant, we all asked for more :)
