Notice the empty serving dish? In 2 minutes, the sautéed shrimp in that dish was gone. That’s how good it was. The sauce itself is delightful enough to put on that piece of bread beside it. Yes, it’s that gooood! And that’s just the appetizer. Let’s go now to my medium well rib eye steak. Juicy, tender, grill-tasting piece of heavenly meat! It’s red wine sauce can even stand on it’s own. I’d love to take it home and spread it on anything. The fries that come with it are very generously served. The bottle of wine (Fitou) was econimically priced so I ordered one as well. Location was so easy. Enter the dropoff area in Festival mall’s new wing, turn left, a few steps and you’re there. We were supposed to be in the area for something else but after tasting the food, driving an hour from Marikina just for this (hopefully soon next time), would be definitely worth it... and I’m not drunk yet as I write this. Congratulations Petit Bistro! Perfect collaboration of French and Ilongga talent and heart.
You definitely get value for money! We love the food. Variety of dishes all came with sumptuous taste. Love the sauteed shrimp and steaks. I highly recommend this place to all friends from south and even north. Us,from Antipolo, found it worth driving for! Thank you and hats off to the chef, Glenda Lastimoso Maupin. The choice in name is quite appropriate...Petit Bistro. All across France there are "petit bistros" or small family owned restaurants serving traditional dishes either endemic to a location or comfort food loved by patrons.
The one in Festival Mall is owned by a Frenchman, Jacques Maupin who married a Filipina, Glenda, who also happens to be the head chef of this restaurant.
They have a 3-course lunch meal promo that goes for P360. I chose Meal C which had Pumpkin Soup, Beef Ragu Linguini, Chocolate Mousse with a serving of Iced Tea.
The soup was velvety, delicate and savory at the same time. Typical of French bistros, there was cream in the soup but not that heavy. You could still taste the subtle nature of pumpkin which is a staple in France.
Beef Ragu Linguini is already an Italian adaptation of the French Ragout which was brought over by Napoleon and his armies in their campaign to Northern Italy. Original French ragout only came in mutton, but the Italians also adapted it to chicken while the beef stew ragu was a Neapolitan specialty. Bistro's Ragu was satisfyingly succulent, meaty and the stew is similar to another French classic, the Bourgignon which is braised with red wine, often red Burgundy.
Their mousse is smooth and decadent. Ooh lala.. sooo good!
Next time, I want to try their cheese and sausage platter with some wine. Probably, their adaptation of French "tapas" as well.

It’s a nice place to hang out in Festival Mall, Filinvest Alabang. Food is good. We tried the pumpkin soup and All Meat Roast which is an assortment of lamb, beef, pork, ham and chicken.
Great food. The steak is really good... juicy and tasty up to the last bite, truly a wonderful experience with my family not to mention the beautiful music in the background, setting the mood happy and romantic vibe! will definetely come back! 👍😊

Good first impression.
This restaurant was one of the first to open in the Mall’s new wing. The ambience may seem intimidating (cost-wise) but their food is worth it. We tried their steak, pasta and salad. We were not disappointed. Steak was cooked & seasoned right. Pasta was well flavoured. We’ll be back for their other food items. One drawback was some pesky fruitflies.

A five-star rating because I love lamb and their French Lamb Stew nailed me to the seat of my pants literally! Very sumptuous and just from the smell of it you can tell it's tasty. Their pumpkin soup was really good! The ambiance was nice, great for special occassions. We celebrated our anniversary here and we were serenaded by the awesome acoustic performer they had that night. Great overall experience and will definitely be back.

The staff are friendly and helpful to their customers and their menu selection, despite being heavy on their tapas/appetizers, are excellent to anyone looking for something to eat. Plus they have a good selection of drinks for anyone legal enough to drink. The only things this establishment can improve are offering cheaper main courses, which while justified for their use of high quality ingredients could turn away potential guests, and adding more french dishes for guests to try out.
We tried the salad, fried calamari, pasta and meat platter. Everything is really good. Service is fantastic, I don't need to ask for water because they refill it right away. Love to go back for a nice date with the hubby.
I love how the servers are accommodating with our needs. Very polite and they listen to what you have to say. Their food is something I've never tried. It's great if you like food and a company of wine. They'll even suggest if it's better with red or white.

This was our third visit and this place is becoming our regular restaurant. Tried different things every time and everything is really good so far. It's different, lots of choices and prices are incredibly attractive for this kind of food. We like to Tapas and Wine there after shopping. Very relax. I would recommend the Shrimps paprika, cod fish dumplings, ham & cheese croquettes, skewers and stuffed mushrooms.

Awesome french tapas selection! The family favorite is the Sautéed Shrimp skillet—great smoked paprika flavor and the spiciness was spot on! Kids meal was also a hit with the little fussy eater that we brought along with us

Interesting concept to apply Spanish tapas format to french cuisine and we did not expect to find such restaurant in a shopping mall. It was a very good experience. We shared few tapas only and flavors were spectacular. Very good service too though the place was pretty full at lunch time. Unfortunately, they ran out of shrimps which were recommended by a friend of ours but the stuffed portobellos and cod dumplings were excellent. Best was the crepe suzette we shared. Bill was more than reasonable so overall very good value. Need to go back to try more
A bit pricey, but every dish we ordered was cooked just right and very tasty. Great ambiance and staff too! 😊 Their set dishes are great value too. We tried the filet mignon, macaroni, chicken skewers, beef ragu, and desserts.

Good little place. The escargot was the highlight of our starters. Our mains had a lot of flavor. The fillet mignon was tasty although it was a little more medium than medium rare. The Moroccan Trio Royale had a nice little kick. The piece of chicken could have been bigger and the lamb was over done though. Full of flavor but still...

Excellent authentic French food in Alabang. All the French tapas were absolutely delicious (try the escargots!), and the flambee Crepe Suzette was just as good. I highly recommend the place.
It’s an amazing restaurant with great food selection, I personally like the spicy chicken skewer and the fish and rice. The owner Glenda personally meets every table to take real time feedback and connects with all guests. Love this place for its hospitality and attention. It’s a must visit if you are a foodie.

Great great restaurant find alert! We had great wine, great food, great service and great ambiance! We ordered the shrimp and chili clams to start. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, great garlic oil sauce and a surprise citrus tough. The chili clams were to die for, such good sauce, actually spicy and left us wanting more. Then I had the tenderloin steak and it’s the first time a restaurant in Manila had cooked it perfectly to my liking, which is rare. Combined with its red wine and shallots sauce that was so tasty and thickened to perfection. It came with crispy fries and a great aioli sauce. My boyfriend had the fillet mignon cordon bleu and that was so good I almost ordered one myself. Paired with delicious potatoes. We had the chocolate mousse, the crème brûlée and the crepe Suzette for dessert (because how can you just have 1?) and they were amazingly tasty. They also have great drinks and a great array of flavored gin and tonics! Overall, nothing bad to say so that says a lot! Please excuse the fail photos, we were too caught up in the appetizers to take photos, I had a bite of my steak before eating and my dad took a spoonful of my mousse before I was able to take a nice one!
I was there few times with family already. We discovered last week some new dishes of the new menu. All what we ordered was very tasty and well prepared. I loved the new side dish selection. It was a great idea!!!

We had a truly wonderful evening meal at Petit Bistro. The spicy clams are amazing and the steaks done to perfection. Matched with an excellent French red recommended by the owner. Previously had the lamb stew which remains an absolute favourite. Service was excellent along with the ambience. Looking forward to the next meal there!
I've been in this restaurant several times and have tried several of their hot tapas. I love their Sautéed shrimp and mini grilled beef tenderloin (which is so tender). Their French cheese platter has a very good combination of cheeses and I usually pair it with their Carafe Sauvignon Blanc wine (one of my favorite). Have tried different wines as well and they are very good and inexpensive.
I dined at Petit Bistro for the second time yesterday. My first experience was an excellent family dinner a few months ago. I was in Alabang for a business meeting and decided to try their lunch special. Our group each loved their choices. I particularly enjoyed the grilled Liempo and Laing. Lunch was favulous value and well worth a vist.
Been to petit Bistro 3 times now. The last time was on Easter Sunday.
We had ribeye steak, lamb stew and fillet of sole.
The steak was flavourful and tender but could do with a little more on the side.
The sole in leek cream sauce was excellent, the lamb stew was equally excellent and big enough for my wife and her friend to share. And still there was enough for me to try. Yummy :)
The chef told us they have some very nice steaks starting in May, so I'll definitely be going back to try them.
