This is my go-to place when I got friends who are visiting (either from diff parts of the metro or from other countries) since it's so close to my home. Always enjoyed the food and wine selection and I love the interiors.
I got even more impressed when I phoned in my order for pick up. I'm currently pregnant so I was craving for a cheese platter (when every other place is already closed) and remembered this place has this on their menu. Called in and spoke to EJ who was so accommodating that he didn't even bother to ask why the heck am I desperate for a cheese platter (haha!). Even included free bread just because!

We had dinner here last valentines day, and it was astonishingly grand. We loved the relaxed ambience, and the servers were really corteous. Food were amazingly good. The taste were all superb. Would definitely go back here. Very posh and elegant
We dined here 3 times. First with my friend Kate, then we went back and add another friend Mavic..lol. We enjoyed the food so much that the two decided to celebrate their birthdays there. But it was bit disappointing that some of the food served were a bit overcooked and the pasta was a bit soggy. Steak was great until it got cold. Service is great. Overall, still highly recommended.
Had an amazing dinner date with the wifey. Great food. Good ambience. The beef shank lasagna was amazing. Simply must try. Truly a good dining experience.
Had my Birthday dinner in this restaurant. We had the Charcuterie board (half), and a salad for starters. Steak was good and it literally melts in your mouth. Overall food was good and we would recommend this place to friends
This is one of my go to places when I am at the south. Also where I try to laze around while waiting for the movies. Food is reasonable is price and somehow, you know you’re getting your money’s worth. There are a lot of items in the menu that are quite good. The ambiance is what I look forward to because it’s quite chill.
The Black Pig is a place many of my friends (mostly foreigners) enjoy going. The ambiance is casual yet chic and sophisticated. The food selection is also above average. The salad and pasta dishes are tasty but also unique, like their pumpkin ravioli and Mediterranean salad. There is also a good vegan menu, which is something hard to find around Manila! Their deserts were alright; I wouldn’t say it is their speciality. This is certainly more of a business casual dining with adult friends kind of place or a wonderful place for romantic dates, where you can enjoy a great selection of wine and other drinks.
This is my favorite restaurant in the South. We always order the lamb rack. It is very good and reasonably priced. The service is quick and polite. They serve wine in carafe, which is smart.
It really shows how good the ingredients and the preparation is in the final product which is the food. Staff is really nice and the ambience is great.
We were lucky enough to have been invited to the Christmas party of the bosses. And because it was a Christmas party for the "Big Boys", we were served with a dinner buffet spread of their most delicious dishes consisting of:
Mixed Salad Leaves, Red Cabbage, Fried Wonton, Ponkan Wedges, Sesame Dressing
Roasted Eggplant, Miso Glaze, Quinoa
Vegetable Paella
Roasted Pork Belly, Apple and Bacon Chutney
Chocolate Praline
Service was attentive and prompt, ambiance was very exclusive and high-end, and food was nothing short of amazing. The Black Pig is perfect for intimate celebrations, whether just with a loved one or with a small group.

Haven’t had time to write a review in a while but this restaurant deserves all the praise! I was honestly so blown away by the food that I tell everyone to visit this place whenever someone asks me for a recommendation. We ordered their charcuterie board which included jamon iberico(!!), grilled octopus, a pork dish, and dessert. I can’t remember what they’re called because the menu uploaded here isn’t updated but trust me when I say that they’re AMAZING. Both entrees were so good but if I have to pick just one, the grilled octopus really took my breath away. Who knew octopus could be that tender and delicious??? My boyfriend, on the other hand, picked the pork dish but loved both dishes as well. Overall, The Black Pig exceeded all expectations and after our meal, we both agreed that this was the best restaurant we’ve tried this year. Can’t wait to be back to try the rest of the menu! ❤️
