Jellybeans In The City

After celebrating my niece’s birthday at Samgyeopmasarap, the family continued the Korean-themed celebration by having our dessert at the SM Marikina branch of Hobing. Hobing specializes in bingsu, originally called patbingsu. This is a traditional Korean dessert made of finely shaved ice, sweetened by condensed milk, and enhanced by bits of fruit, candy or pastries. It may even be topped with ice cream or yoghurt.
We are not really a fan of Korean stuff but since our tummy is asking for a dessert, we've decided to ditch our DQ routine and try out Hobing in SM Marikina. We've already tried Hobing in Eastwood and it was a hit.
The place is spacious and well air-conditioned - it's quaint and not bad, good for hanging out with your friends. The bingsu's are consistently big (lol) and good for sharing and for the price, I think it's worth it.
The combination of flavors are unique and exceptional - you'll be surprised with the outcome when certain ingredients are combined over shaved ice. It's a great way to end your day after eating a great meal. I haven't tried their food but would love too! Would love to create a blog content about them soon!
Let's rate them shall we?

The nearest hobing branch near us. We should have ordered 2 regular size bingsu instead of one large bowl para walang lamangan. Panalo! Cravings satisfied!!! Thank you hobing 😍😍😍
