I stopped by here because of the heavy downpour in Marikina (couldn't go anywhere). I was met with friendly staff, and quick service. The place LACKS ventilation, and our clothes smelled of smoke and oil when we left.
But forget about all that, concentrate on the wings. Their wings are cooked to perfection. We had the Thai version and the sauce was incredible!
From QC all the way to Marikina to have a taste of the world's best street food!! SUPERB! SARAP!
Been craving for churros and I was very satisfied!
Isaw was the best, Nanay just tasted it for the first time in her life! Sarap sobra! You know it's clean pa!
Their chicken wings (pokpok) so affordable and tasty!
Margarita Pizza! The thin dough.. Perfect! And sooo yummy!
Hope you'll branch out somewhere in QC! :)
All the best!
We had our lunch here around 3pm and it wasn't busy. We ordered for the cheese pizza, grilled cheese sandwich, chilli dog, corn dog and milo dinosaur. The food was pretty good, my son liked the pizza. The only thing that i don't like about it was the crust, it was the thinnest crust ever, like paper thin. The service was a bit slow but it's ok, at least we know that they were only prepping it as you order it. Overall, our experience was ok. Comfort food that will satisfy you for sure. I like the interior as well. The cashier/server was really nice. Will most probably come back here.
For the love of street food! Good interiors. A must try foods. A perfect clean avenue for street food lovers otta there! Thumbs up for this.
If you just want to eat meryenda and hang out at a chill spot, this is a good place for you. The food and the Thai milk tea are the best! Giving it a 4.5 because of their limited seating but other than that, highly-recommended!
If you want to enjoy different authentic street foods around the world, you just need to head over to lilac st. in marikina to Urbanstreet Philippines. 😊
If you feel you like to eat a light meal, this is a recommended resto for you. I had tried only 2 on the menu which is not dissappointing. A must order you can try are the thai pokpok chicken wings and the tinapa pizza. The pizza perhaps, can be improved. Just lessen the oil on top.
The resto has nice interior.
It was my first time to try Urban Street and the nth time for my siblings so I guess I expected more because they keep on recommending this place. Don't get me wrong, I actually liked the concept and it's a good place for a once-in-a-while cravings for street food. I especially liked their isaw and kwek-kwek. The disappointment was with the mami which took a long time to be served. It's good but nothing special about it that I also find it too pricey. I'll definitely go back but maybe try something else on the menu.
Saw this using the app and yes, the ratings are veru reliable. Food is great, they hire vocational culinary students to work on the dishes, very cool interiors, and the servers were very nice. Warm smile too. I just hope when thw owner hires crews, is to make sure they're not smoking because they're handling food. But overall, food is great, I had the Asian Food Plate (yakitori, satay, and singaporean chicken). Peanut sauce is delicious, period.
My friend and I were on the hunt for some unique but savory food with instagrammable interiors for a quick catch-up and dinner. Lo and behold! Our feet dragged us here, one fateful Sunday walk along Lilac Street.
What caught our attention was its tagline that said something along the lines of street foods around the world and the cute interiors that were seen from the outside so we were like, what the heck? Let's go! Good thing it didn't disappoint!!
I ordered the Asian plate and Milo Dinosaur while my friend ordered the Pork Satay and Manila Tusok-tusok. I was really surprised with the serving amount of the Asian Plate. It was a lot! And can serve two. For someone who eats like a kargador (No pun intended because I'm guilty as charged!) I wasn't able to finish it all. I was already full half-way through. I wanted to finish it to be honest because it was that good! So I ended up bringing it home. My friend also enjoyed the pork satay because it oozes with flavor! As for the "Tusok-tusok" however, it was a bit underwhelming in a sense that it's really nothing special and the serving's small as compared to the others. They should have changed it up a bit to make it more appealing and worth the price. The Milo Dinosaur was superb! It wasn't too sweet and I totally forgot about the calories. I wanted to have seconds of it but we unfortunately had to leave.
I had a great experience here food wise and ambiance wise (Plus points because all of the staff were accommodating). Although some of their meals are a bit overpriced, the flavor of the other street foods like the satay and yakitori are promising and makes up for it. I'll definitely come back here! Screw the calories!
Sometimes street food equates to comfort food, and comfort food must be easily accessible. I live just a few minutes away from Lilac Street, and I was really glad to learn about Urban Street, especially because they serve isaw! My favorite pork isaw is from either Mang Larry's in UP or Lola Ote along Sct. Esguerra, but since they're relatively far from where I live, then Urban Street is the answer to my street food cravings! I also love their vinegar dip and pizzas! Service could still be improved, though, especially the waiting time.
Greatness in everything. Value for the money and quality and service is top notch! Will be coming back again. Loved the Cheesecake for dessert!
