Food was good, but 1) the aircon inside was not working— we were seated further inside and it was dusty due to construction; 2) the staff made us write the Zomato Gold codes ourselves on their tracking sheet (my first time to encounter this!), and 3) service was a bit slow, with most of the staff focused in the front area.
The branch had very good and polite staff. Serving was very big and very worth it. Ribs and chicken were best. Continue offering Zomato Gold.
Food is great, as always. But the service was very slow. We had to stand up all the time just to get the server’s attentions. :( it was because our table was hidden far inside the restaurant, it was actually annoying. Hope they could actually do something about this.
For a group of four, we ordered their lemon peppered grilled chicken, grilled pork chops, pizza sampler and pasta. The seeving is just the right amount for the four of us. For me, I really liked their pizza since it comes in 4 different flavors in one, louisiana for me is the best!
Food: We ordered regular sized grilled pork chops. Serving was huge and good for 2 actually. It had 2 pcs of chops, rice and potato wedges. Delicious. But somehow expensive. 495 pesos. Meat was tender and easy to slice. Potato wedges were cooked nicely and not sloppy.
Staff: The staff was nice and friendly. She accomodated all our requests immediately since there were only few customers.
Place: It was huge but somehow dim.
Great food and service that keeps you coming back. We have dined in at their restos twice already and we go home with a huge smile on our face and a tummy that's full!
We ordered Oklahoma ribs and Shrimp Arabiatta. The ribs was standard,not fall off the ribs type but soft enough to be enjoyed. The sidings :corn salsa- carrots was soggy. Mashed potatoes here are very good, its texture is soft and creamy and pour the gravy on top. It's delish. Shrimp arabiatta is also very good. I'm not usdually a fan of chili flakes but I enjoyed the right combination of chili in this. Over all. We enjoyed our dinner. We will come back.
Not the best dine in experience last Sept. 2018, since not all food we ordered are great, some were too salty, some were too oily...
But I think, restos like this, which seemed to be well accomodating to big family such as ours, compensated for some deficiencies in their food.
We were served on time, and the assigned food attendant really is a pleasant to talk to (can't remember her name now, sorry).

This is the first time I have been to this branch of Burgoo, as I usually go to their Rockwell branch. So my expectations for the restaurant was a little higher than usual. So bear with me as I break this down in 3 categories: Food quality, Ambiance, and Service.
Also, I would just like to highlight that my gf and I availed the 1+1 food deal since I am an existing Zomato Gold member, so that's already a great deal when it comes to having the best bang for the buck restaurant at SM Marikina.
Food Quality:
We thoroughly enjoyed the food we got. For our visit, we ordered the Grilled Lamb and the Grilled Porkchop. The lamb was very tasty. My gf really liked this dish as she paired it with potato wedges and with corn and carrots. However, I personally liked the porkchop as it was tenderly cooked just right. The slight salty and charred flavor of it went perfectly with the rice pilaf together with a large dose of mashed potatoes. Certainly a heavy meal for the average joe.
Overall, the quality of the food was good based on what we ordered.
Ambiance:
For the overall feel of the place, I felt that it was lacking the usual charm of the Burgoo restaurant that I got to enjoy several years back. Heck, the Burgoo at Rockwell has a nice warm feeling with its decors while the Marikina branch certainly feels old. It definitely needs some interior improvements as you can feel the age of the place.
However, I will give them this, I do appreciate that they have an open kitchen layout. This helps in maintaining a more clean kitchen for the restaurant since it is both visible to the customers and to the staff, and it also creates a more open space for the area.
Service:
Now, I may have been reserved in the feel of the restaurant but when it comes to their service, it was simply wonderful! Our server was very much attentive and accommodating. She was very hands on during our visit and we didn't feel that we were taken for granted.
Conclusion:
Overall, this was an enjoyable experience at Burgoo - SM Marikina branch. The place may feel dated but the food and service does not. I will certainly look forward to my next visit should I be in the area again.

Ate here with my mom. We ordered a ceasar salad with shrimp popcorn & the beef cheesy baked macaroni, both in regular servings. The salad was so fresh, the lettuce so crunchy and the added shrimp popcorns added more flavor as it was so crispy and compliments well the dressing. I love how fresh the shrimps are. Super solved just with the salad. With the baked macaroni we ordered, it's not that cheesy for my taste. But the pasta is cooked as I liked it. I haven't enjoyed it much as I prefer my pasta a little less tomatoey.. but my mom super enjoyed it.
For value of money, I think it's quite expensive. We only ate here because I have zomato gold. For the services, the servers/staffs are so friendly and attentive, but the serving time is quite a wait. Overall, we had an okay experience. Will be back to try the other dishes.
A bit too pricey for your normal weekend dinner but nevertheless, their food are all mouth-watering! I also love their lunch options. Plus, we get to draw using crayons while waiting for our orders. :D

When I first came here, I did not much like their serving of food, I feel like its ordinary, plane ol' jane, but I decided to give it another try for the particular reason that I was looking for places where I could eat salad. Their seafood ceasar salad was okay for me. Not the best, but certainly better than what I have eaten in the past. Their service improved as well. The service staff were very friendly and accomodating. It's nice to know that they are improving in their establishment, and for that reason alone I give them 4 stars!
Burgoo in SM Marikina offers great Shrimp and Rib Platter and Seafood Pasta. Maybe the ribs are just a little dry but it was well seasoned. My baby also enjoyed their fresh strawberry shake.
Ambiance: Well lighted, clean, posh store with cozy seats.
Service: Staffs are very attentive and ready to serve with a smile. My baby loves them.

My best friend and I ordered the Gambas, Chicken Quesadillas, Mashed Potato and Bottomless Soda (Coke Zero). Was really impressed by how attentive the waitresses were. I didn't have to tell them to refill my drink; they did it automatically, courteously asking before doing so, of course. In addition, the food tasted good, so we were satisfied. ☺️

Burgoo is our go-to restaurant in SM Marikina because of their satisfying meals and pasta dishes. We tried their Seafood Jambalaya Supreme and, as expected, were not disappointed. The dish was full of flavors from the rice to the seafood toppings. The chicken on top also balanced the seafood taste. Paired with their Supreme Sampler and Chicken Fingers, the meal was very filling for all three of us.

We heard that the film we were about to see is four hours long, which is an excellent excuse to have a BIG lunch before the movie starts. Burgoo has been one of our favorite casual dining restaurants, and we always order the Ribs and Shrimp Platter. The meat is consistently tender and literally falls off the bone, and that BBQ glaze is sweet and tangy and delicious. The shrimp is smaller nowadays but still lightly coated and well-cooked. I think a little dry heat from, say, red pepper flakes, would help to elevate the quality of the shrimp.
Fresh and delicious, one of the best resto in SM Marikina. If you want professional staffs, great food, big servings, and memorable dining experience then this is the place to dine. Wide variety of American dishes, pizzas, burgers, pasta, paella, ribs and steaks! All in here, aside from the big servings, the prices are rational. They offer buy 1 take 1, we had the ribs sampler with a generous serving of pasta. Good for 3 hungry tummies. Dessert? they have it here, underrated cheesecakes which are so good. (mas masarap di hamak sa bannapple cheesecake) in deed.
Burgoo serves good american food at average american prices (converted into Pesos of course). So for the regular Filipino customer, unless you're earning Dollars or something, you'll find it a bit expensive to dine here as often as you like. However, they do come out with promo offerings every once in a while, amounting to significant savings, which helps a lot.
Over the years, we have tried most of their dishes. We specially like their Burgoo stew, Supreme Sampler and Chicken Tender Fingers for starters. When it comes to pasta, our favorites are the Shrimp Arrabiatta, Seafood Linguine and the Tomato Basil Spaghetti. For the entrée you can't go wrong with their Seafood Jambalaya Supreme and Shrimp and Ribs Platter.
The place has a nice and clean appeal and could accommodate a fair amount of guests. The staff are well trained and helpful.
I wouldn't mind giving a high rating for Burgoo, I really loved their pasta. I ordered the Tomato basil Spaghetti and the Lemon Peppered Grilled Chicken. I can say their chicken is mouthwatering and and seems like it was marinated well.
I also love the place since it feels very cozy and the all the staff are very nice and accommodating. The only thing that bothers me is that their price is quite expensive. Although you can see their menu is almost the same with other American restaurants.
Burgoo SM MARIKINA
Burgoo- They have servings and the place is okay, interior is nice. While waiting, you can scribble and color on the flipchart paper which they use to cover the table. They also provide the coloring materials.
FOOD: We ordered fries while waiting for our companion, the serving was big and its was just the usual fries with cheese and bacon bits. The rest of what we ordered was okay, nothing so extraordinarily special
PRICE: a bit expensive, but ask for a coupon before you enter the resto to get freebie :)
SERVICE: They attended to our requests.
I love the ribs and seafood platter. It's a huge serving that's good for family and barkadas. Their carbonara is so creamy and so delish. Reasonable price as well. :)
Burgoo is one of the best restaurants to offer American-Italian food. The last time we went here, we tried their Supreme Sampler, spaghetti bolognese, seafood linguini & Mississippi mud pie. I like their huge servings and the staff were accommodating as always. The mozzarella cheese sticks and calamari weren't that extraordinary. My favorite was the seafood linguini, buffalo wings and barbecued baby back ribs.

Burgoo's menu predominantly consists of American dishes. Its menu offerings are similar to Friday's but of course there are differences in taste & price points.
Burgoo is a reliable place / safe option to dine in with friends, family or with your partner. I find it a nice place to eat with kids too since the restaurant provides crayons that the kids can use to doodle on their blank paper table place mats/sheets. :)
We ordered our family's usual fare:
Chicken Tender Fingers: We got this for free! Burgoo had this promo wherein for the minimum bill amount of Php 500, customer will get 1 regular Chicken Tender Fingers: (Php 345.00 value) at no additional cost!
The CTF were good but not life-changing. I mean it's your traditional chicken fingers, only that Burgoo's version is not really long strips, more of bite sized ones. Their sour cream dip is delicious though, I even use it as a dip for Burgoo's Shrimp Poppers / Shrimp n Chips. As for the serving size, I find Php 345.00 a tad too expensive.
Supreme Pizza: The pizza was good. Their menu states that their pizzas are stone baked. The Supreme pizza consists of pepperoni, mushroom, sausages, bell peppers, onions and mozzarella cheese. Burgoo also offers a "Pizza Sampler" option wherein you choose 4 different flavors for your pizza. (It's Php 100 more expensive though).
Carbonara: Their Carbonara is good too. It's something that we definitely always order every single time we're here. It's creamy and has generous servings of bacon and mushrooms. You can also add chicken/shrimp to your order, just add Php 125.
Shrimp Poppers / Shrimp n Chips: This one is a great dish to eat while conversing with friends & family but the shrimps are only few. The shrimps are not big too (in case you're wondering). There are a lot of fries along with the shrimp :) I find this dish expensive also for the quantity served. (But hey, aren't most, if not all, shrimp dishes expensive?)
Iced tea: Their iced tea is acceptable.
Ambiance is nice, it features an open kitchen as well.
I really love the idea where you can draw/write on your table's place mat (blank paper sheet).
Service is great. They quickly attend to your needs & concerns.

Tip from Trish: Ask for their promos c/o various credit card companies. They usually have a number of promos, usually those like certain free dish for a certain minimum purchase/bill requirement. If you don't use credit cards, try asking also for their in-store promos (like our free Chicken Tender Fingers). They used to give out coupons outside the restaurant too :)
Tip from Trish #2: Check deal sites too, Burgoo used to have promo deals where you can save 40% off (from what I remember).
What got us here is the "calling card-type leaflet" that says free Supreme Sampler (valued at 495.00) for a minimum purchase of 500 only. Sounds a good deal, right? So we get in.
We ordered Shrimps & Ribs platter - barbecued baby back-ribs, grilled corn on a cob, French fries and well, tiny shrimps. It's more than enough for 2 persons since we have this Supreme Platter already.
I like the Mozzarella cheese sticks, even if it's over fried. The onions rings are good too. The food was better than good though.
Plus it won't break your wallet. Servings are good for sharing. No service charge so better be a little generous in giving tips. 10% of your total bill won't hurt for a good service they'll provide.

Celebrated last time my father's birthday here.. I love their western style foods most especially the steaks.. the pizza is also terrific. BRAVO TO THE STAFF for making that moment an unforgettable one.

One of the best restaurants in SM Marikina for me, Burgoo will offer you yet another take on Italian-American food.
The place is very spacious and they have a good number of staff. They have an open kitchen separated merely by a counter so you can actually take a peek as they are preparing your food. The tables are lined witha big sheet of paper, and crayons are provided so kids (and even adults!) can draw while waiting for their order.
We got:
Cheddar Cheese Fries for appetizer - quite similar to the phased out Jollibee cheese fries except with thicker, bigger fries
Seafood Jamabalaya - very tasty and had a lot of toppings in it like squid rings, clams, shrimp and green peas served with rice pilaf
Shrimp and Ribs Platter - served with mashed potato (which had a unique garlic bread flavor to it) and coleslaw
Cheesy Beef Baked Macaroni - when they say cheesy they mean it! There were strands of cheese clinging to the fork with every bite!
Overall very yummy food, my only comment is that it is quite expensive. Still, Burgoo's a safe choice since you would surely like it.
The place reminds me of a restaurant in a 70's movie. The service is great but the uniform could do a little work. In my opinion if your going for that old feel you should do it right down to the uniform. But thats just my opinion. All 3 meals that i ordered were all perfectly cooked. But out of the 3 i loved the jambalaya that they had. It was like eating a rice meal in chowking but it was a hundred times better. The other 2 meals that i orderd were the fried chicken and the basil pasta. Price was fair. I would suggest taking the free sampler coupon on the same day you eat since that was allowed.
Burgoo has that 60's diner feel. It's like I'm in a movie only better because they cover their tables with paper and they give you crayons so that you can draw while waiting for your food. They have great food too that makes me feel like I'm in New York.
