3.5 is really for the food but the workshop itself is. A 4.0 for me.
When you want to do mosaic workshop or feel like working with your hands, Mosaic by the Creek is the place to go. Friendly and helpful staffs. We got here at an odd hour of 11am without calling ahead. We really intended to do mosaic but workshop does not start till 4pm. Staffs encouraged us to try their cafe. I find the portions small relative to the price and food was just so so. The staffs were nice enough to allow us to start doing mosaic even without the teacher. For 880p, you get all the materials for free. Great for kids and adult alike. I find it almost therapeutic. We got a fairly large and complicated pattern so we had to go back the following day to pick it up. Best time to go is around 10 or 11am because they just opened and you have the place all to yourself

The taste of their dishes is good. The serving size is not enough though.
Their regular dish is good for 1 person.
Their fish curry costs 495 pesos which is supposedly good for 2-3 persons according to their menu. Yet, it only contains 4 pieces of fish fillets, quail eggs, fish balls and tofu each.
Ample parking lot and you can take lessons to learn how to make mosaics.

This cafe is very private, with a roomy dining area and nice ambiance. Ot also has a workshop for creating mosaics and other arts and crafts that you can think of.

The food is good and the servers are very attentive. My beef kebab was tasty and I enjoyed their roti bread when dipped into the accompanying garlic sauce.

My favorite dish was the shanghai rolls appetizer. It also included cheese rolls and the sauce is absolutely titillating! This is one of the dishes I'd gladly try again.

Overall a good experience. Great for lazy Sunday brunch.

Mosaic by the Creek is a special, special place run by wonderful people. We made reservations for a pre-Valentine's day date and were treated to a fun evening of good food and mosaic-making. It's not just a cafe.

The mosaic workshop: P880. The very nice lady of the house will give you a quick "how-to" and off you go. All the tiles and glue are at your disposal. It took me two hours to craft my masterpiece (a jewelry box in the shape of a bird). It was a calming, therapeutic experience which enabled creativity I didn't know I had.

It is recommended you do this before dinner. Arrive early if you can, around 5pm to finish in time for dinner. It's a great activity for adults and kids alike. Very young kids need close supervision however since you are working with small pieces.

The Cafe: the perfect way to satiate the appetite you worked up creating mosaics! Start with Their fil-mex fries. For mains I recommend their pink salmon farfalle and Carlo's roasted chicken. A nearby table recommended a curry dish but we didn't get to try it. Cap off your experience with their dessert and coffee. Their calamansi or tablea cheesecake is recommended.

We were lucky enough to meet a few members of the family behind Mosaic. They all have their own areas of expertise. The recipes are all heirloom and have been in their family for years. Tita helms the workshop and decorating, her daughter curates the wine, her son oversees the food. Everything in the cafe is a part of their family which really brings a warmth to the place that I appreciated. I can't wait to return!
