This place is beautiful and the food is good and also there dessert's are very delicious and would like you to come at this place and invite someone with you.
I went here with a friend last year! We only ordered a drink and a dessert (can’t remember which) and they were good. We didn’t stay for too long since we just killed time. But anyhow, the customer service is good and the drink + dessert was good enough. Would love to come back here soon to try out more!
My interest on 1919 started when it was featured by no other than the Manila Mayor on TV as his new favorite restaurant. On TV it looked like a restaurant fit for an Oscars after party event. I had to see it myself. Thankfully my father-in-law invited us there for lunch a few days later.
The location is inside a very old building which used to be the HSBC Binondo branch. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was how different the interior was from the exterior/surroundings of the building. It can easily beat a 5-star hotel lobby in my opinion. I cannot imagine the amount of effort put out to make the venue as modern and classy as possible. We ordered Pasta Negra, Carbonara, 4 Kinds of Cheese Pizza, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Crispy Pork Belly. Loved how creamy the Carbonara was. Pasta Negra did a good job in coloring our teeth black, it was also a little salty for my taste. The unexpected standout was the 4 Kinds of Cheese pizza. The size was just around 8 to 10 inches but the taste of the combined cheese was intense. I would definitely recommend it whether you are a pizza lover or not. I also recommend that you stay a little longer after your meal as you might see celebrities coming in. If you get hungry, they also have pastries for take out. I can't wait to be back here to try their breakfast.
