Great food. Their Original Philly & nachos are definitely a must try. Yummy! đ I wish they can find a place more accessible to people though, one which could be spotted easily.
Great ambiance and food. No wifi but the sandwiches are authentic. You leave feeling like you need to take a nap. Exactly how you want to feel after eating a whole Philly cheese steak. Great bread and steak!
Ambience
The wooden blocks partially framing the order counter are interesting. They remind me of the look of Rub Ribs & BBQ, like Tetris on a mood swing. Restroom is upstairs. Parking? I choose to grin instead. Bathroom needs some sink cleaning.
Service
It's par to expectations. Everyone is nice and polite. Seeing the staffers enjoy talking among themselves shows good signs of work satisfaction.
Buttermilk Chicken
The presentation is great for Instagram and the chopping board is simply a fun touch! The meat's fried texture is appetizing though the overall taste is bland. Carrots and corn are no exception here. The core, chi, or life of this dish resides in the depths of its tasty gravy. Forgivable? Yes.

One of the best sandwich places I've ever been to!
The location â The location is honestly not that hard to find if you'll just walk from Vito Cruz. A big NO NO is taking an Uber or Grab to the place because the streets leading to it are narrow and shady to the point that the driver will ask if they can just drop you off elsewhere. I suggest you walk. It's a few blocks away from Jollibee in Vito Cruz, just make sure to be vigilant of their sign.
The ambiance â their ambiance is actually good, we were the first customers who arrived so we had the place to ourselves. However, since we are the first ones the AC wasn't turned on yet. It was quite hot for a while.
The food â Their cheesesteaks are 9 inches long so unless you can down all of that without regrets then I suggest you go on halfsies with the person you're with. My best friend and I shared this sandwich and we were still full afterwards. We had onion rings and buffalo wings on the side. The onion rings were good and not battered to the point of no return. It's just a light batter that even coats the onions. The buffalo wings aren't that special. Typical wings.
Value for money â 4.5/5 Its all worth it!
The staffâ Now this is the only problem I've encountered, the staff are quite unprofessional. They kept on horsing around with each other that it became distracting. Friendly nevertheless.
9/10 would go back again.

A little bit hidden when compared to the other restos around Taft, but once you find it, you won't regret it. A little bit cozy on the first floor but they do offer a second floor, and their interior decoration is attractive to those who find simplicity as eye-catching. They don't have much on the menu and their prices are a bit steep, but if you have extra for this, just go for it. The cheesesteak takes a bit of finding its kick, but the more you have it, the more you get to appreciate it. But for me, the milkshakes here take the cake, each sip just makes you linger with it due to how the burst of flavor tingles in your mouth.Â

They serve it in generous amount and it is full of sauce and other toppings too. I hope they won't change their nachos
The ambiance was good, quiet and relaxing. I love the fact that they have outlets/plugs to charge your gadgets. The food was okay (not great though, just okay). I ordered the original philly cheese steak and it tasted like Igado (idk if anyone knows this dish). This is actually the first cheese steak that I tasted and I did not expect that it would taste like Igado. It did not suit my taste, to he honest but Idk maybe it's just me. We have different tastes after all. The onion rings and fries was so-so. What I like here is the nachos (We ordered sour cream and onion flavor) and their fruit shake.
Original Philly Cheese Steak - 2/5 (reasons: bc its pricey and i personally did not like the taste)

I really love this place. It's a hidden gem in the outskirts of the vicinities of CSB-SDA that you wouldn't normally just stumble across as it's in some secluded semi-sketchy but wide street. Fortunately, I saw this place featured in some article a while back.
Phillypinas offers absolutely delicious subs. I tried their Original Philly Cheesesteak and Onion Rings. It was absolutely delicious! It's a bit pricey but seriously it's definitely good to share. Their milkshakes and fruit drinks were also really good accompaniment to the food as it provides a very refreshing twist to things. It's definitely worth a try. I just wish the place was bigger.

The place was hidden so there weren't a lot of people and because it was a Saturday. The place wasn't big and it was perfect for small groups of people. The interior was nice and cute.
We decided to just share on their Original Philly Cheesesteak (9 inches) the size can already feed two people but if you are a big eater, get one for yourself. It was so cheesy, the meat was easy to chew and it was so flavorful. We also got their Poutine. The cheese was the same with their cheesesteak. We also tried their Buffalo Wings and it was good and super spicy! I'm a lover of milkshakes and their Chocolate Milkshake didn't fail me. It was huge and the price was worth it.
My only concern is we waited for our food so long but it wasn't that hot.

I discovered this hidden gem, thanks to a particular blog! It is indeed hidden, away from the main streets around DLSU and CSB which made it hard [difficult] to find. But as a student from Benilde, I did not get lost, just a Google search of the street will do. I agree that the street might be a little sketchy [lesser people] but as long as you come here at daylight, I think youâre fine.
The restaurant has two floors, but when I checked the second floor, it seems like itâs not used and you can already feel the heat. I was dining alone so I didnât mind the [hot] temperature of the aircon downstairs. Their interiors were nice and simple. Ventilation is not okay though because as soon as the staff started cooking, the smell started surrounding the little place.
Staff were friendly. Service was okay. You have to order by the counter but they will serve your food in your table which took quite long (considering Iâm the only customer) but again, I didnât mind it that much. Moving on to the food. What I ordered: Original Philly Cheesesteak and their Vanilla Milkshake.
The cheesesteak is served with fries on the side. The steak (which is really tapa-like) is tough so I had to chew it hardly and properly. I really liked their cheese sauce and the mix of other toppings [vegetables] is good, just having the right amount of spice. The size is decent. I guess two people can share but if youâre a big eater, you can definitely eat it on your own. Another con is the price, which is quite expensive for a student. The fries were good and fresh. The vanilla milkshake was kind of disappointing. The main reason is because itâs not sweet enough for a person like me. Itâs also not as creamy, it is more on the water side. But I still enjoyed it and the serving was big for a person. The presentations of their food are really on-point so if youâre that person who likes to take beautiful pictures of food, go ahead to this place.
Overall, I will come back. Maybe with a bunch of blockmates. Will also try their other food. 4 stars!
